DONALD P. DEBOUCK
RAWLINGS - Donald P. DeBouck, 38, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Rawlings, died at his residence on Nov. 6, 1998, after a lengthly illness.
Born July 15, 1960, in Cumberland, he was the son of Arbutus (Llewellyn) DeBouck of Rawlings, and the late Alvin C. DeBouck.
Surviving are one sister, Linda L. Krutul; one brother, Roy E. DeBouck; one niece, Sarah Beth Krutul and Robert Ditko, a special friend.
The body will be cremated.
For his last request, no services will be held.
THELMA K. BLANK
MOUNT SAVAGE - Thelma Kathleen Blank, 73, of 15408 Weimer Drive, NW, Mount Savage, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 24, 1924, in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Nellie (Wright) Porter. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Smith and Ruth Martin.
Mrs. Blank was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mount Savage United Methodist Church, and the Daughters of America.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, James A. Blank Sr.; two sons, James A. Blank Jr. and fiancee Cynthia M. Stys, Columbia, and Richard W. Blank and wife Donna, Mount Savage; one daughter, Sharon L. Winebrenner and husband Bernard, Mount Savage; one sister, Betty Puffenberger, Indian Head; four grandchildren, Jimmy Winebrenner, Jody Winebrenner, Amy Blank and Steven Blank; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard C. Broome Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in the St. George's Episcopal cemetery, Mount Savage.
Pallbearers will be Andy Blank, Dennis Blank, Jimmy Winebrenner, John Bucy, Brian Kelly and Richard Blank.
HELEN BLOCHER
FROSTBURG - Helen (Shaffer) Blocher, 83, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Frostburg, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, in a Clearwater, Fla., hospital. She resided at the Mariner Health Center in Clearwater for six weeks prior to her death.
Born Feb. 18, 1915, in Oakland, she was a daughter of the late William and Daisy (Pifer) Shaffer. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Banty" Blocher, in 1990; and one sister, Marguerite Beck.
Mrs. Blocher resided in Oakland until 1935 and then lived in Frostburg until the early 1970s; she worked as a social worker for the state of Maryland, and moved to Florida upon her retirement.
She was actively involved in community work at the Bay Ranch Trailer Park in Largo, where she resided until her recent illness. She drove a senior citizens bus until the age of 70, and then continued to do volunteer work in her neighborhood. She was an active member of the Dunnedin Eastern Star, where she held various offices, and was a member of the chorus.
Survivors include one sister, Mabel E. Smouse, Oakland; one brother, William J. Shaffer, North Port, Fla.; one half sister, Martha A. McLaughlin, Stockton, Calif.; a number of nieces and nephews including Lee K. Close, Frostburg; and many beloved friends and former coworkers.
At her request, Mrs. Blocher's remains were cremated. A memorial service is planned at a later date.
MANSON M. DURR
RAWLINGS - Manson M. Durr, 84, of Rawlings, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born March 28, 1914, in Garrett County, he was the son of the late Louis and Rebecca (Miller) Durr. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley L. Durr; a son, Gary Durr; a sister, Anna McKenzie; and brothers, Daniel Durr, William Durr, Graydon Durr and Ira Durr.
Mr. Durr was an independent real estate owner/operator in the local area and had owned a restaurant.
Surviving are a son, Manson "Joe" M. Durr Jr., of Cumberland; daughters, Diana May Couter, Leesburg, Va., Tammy R. Raines, Leesburg, Va., and Theresa Pomp, Bellington, W.Va.; a companion friend, Diana Reeves, Ridgeley; sisters, Marthena Miller, Finzel, and Grace Conners, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and grandchildren, Daniel Durr, Michael Durr and Julie Raines.
Friends will be received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, 1302 National Highway, LaVale, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Oak Grove Mennonite Church on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Tim Fetterly officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Mennonite cemetery.
MARY (KNOTT) CAPENOS
CUMBERLAND - Mary (Knott) Capenos, 71, formerly of Cumberland, died Nov. 2, 1998, in Yorktown, Va.
Born March 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Clara Knott who formerly lived at 11 South Lee Street, Cumberland.
Mrs. Capenos was a graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 1945. After graduation, she was employed as a buyer for Rosenbaum's Department Store and then moved to Washington, D.C., and worked for the President's Committee on Traffic Safety, where she retired from. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Pittsburgh, Pa., and a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Yorktown.
Surviving are her husband, Warren Capenos, Pittsburgh, Pa.; two daughters, Kimberly Stiffler, Tyrone, Pa., and Kathleen Kantz, Yorktown; two sons, Col. Steven Capenos, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Michael Capenos, Winchester, Va.; a brother, Earl Knott Jr., Columbia; a sister, Eloise Britt, Longwood, Fla. and seven grandchildren.
Her body was cremated and memorial services were held in Yorktown.
ERIC THOMAS BELCHER
CRESAPTOWN - Eric Thomas Belcher, infant son of Mike Belcher and Sonja (Duckworth) Belcher, 16139 McMullen Highway, Cresaptown, died Dec. 31, 1997, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a twin brother, Seth Michael Belcher, at home; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Kathleen (Nichols) Duckworth, Rawlings; paternal grandparents, Michael and Linda (Shulsinger) Sophis, Miami, Fla.; maternal great-grandparents, Herman and Lizzie Duckworth, Rawlings; paternal great-grandparents, Paul and Joyce Shulsinger, Vienna, Va.
Private services are planned.

BEULAH M. BEITZEL
ACCIDENT - Beulah Marie Beitzel, 64, of 788 Foxtown Rd., Accident, died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at her residence.
Born June 15, 1934 in Hahnstown, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Albert and Lizzie (Landis) Hornberger.
She had been employed in housekeeping for various motels in the Lancaster, Pa., area for 26 years. She had been a member of Conestoga Valley Church of Christ and was currently a member of the Oakland Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Delmar C. Beitzel, a daughter, Darla M. Long and husband, Ken, Accident; her stepmother, Kathryn Mohler, Neffsville, Pa.; three brothers, John D. Hornberger, Brownstown, Pa.; Albert Hornberger, Goshen, Ind.; and Landis "Bud" Hornberger, Ephrata, Pa., and four grandsons, Nathan, Dustin, Jensen and Kalen Long.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral home, Grantsville, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Monday at 10 a.m. at Cherry Glade Mennonite Church, Accident, with Russell McConnell and Randy Cook officiating. Interment will be in Old Cherry Glade cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Garrett County, Md.
ALICE V. BEITZEL
GRANTSVILLE - Alice Victoria Beitzel, 77, of 3837 Bear Hill Road, Grantsville, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
Born June 23, 1921, in Jennings, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ethel (Platter) Durst. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Warren, on March 18, 1964; two sons, Darrell and Kermit; a daughter, Kathryn Shank; and two brothers, Clark and Garland Durst.
Mrs. Beitzel was a member of Jennings Church of God and was a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons, Ron Beitzel and wife Sherry, Cumberland, Gary Beitzel and wife Betty, and John Beitzel and wife Margaret, all of Grantsville; a daughter, Delores Brown and husband Bill, Boonsboro; a brother, Carl Durst; three sisters, Emogene Resh, Wanda Yommer and Beula Glotfelty, all of Grantsville; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
