WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. -- Harvey Curry, 81, of Dibble Hollow, formerly of North Brookfield, Mass., died Monday, Jan. 28, in a local convalescent home.
He leaves his wife, Jeanne (Fauteux) Curry; four daughters, Michele Graczyk of Windsor Locks, Lucille Frieder, Pamela Epps and Susan Sarubbi, all of East Greenwich, R.I.; a son, Bruce Curry of Cranston, R.I.; and eight grandchildren. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Harvey Curry Sr. and Nettie (O'Coin) Curry, and lived in North Brookfield and Hartford before moving to Windsor Locks in 1959. He also lived in Sturbridge before returning to Windsor Locks recently. He graduated from high school in North Brookfield in 1938.
Mr. Curry worked 30 years at Emhart, Hartford, retiring in 1982.
The memorial service will be private in Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 96 Oak St., Hartford, CT 06106.

SPENCER -- Doris S. (Ledoux) Delisle, 77, of 71 Chestnut St., a retired shoe worker, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, at home after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 41 years, Edward A. Delisle; two sisters, Marie R. Parker and Gloria P. Duggan, both of Spencer; nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Normand, Romeo and Donald Ledoux, and a sister, Jeanne Hinerth, predeceased her. She was born in Spencer, daughter of Aza and Sylvia (Beaudin) Ledoux.
Mrs. Delisle was a shoe worker for 45 years at Klevin Shoe Co. in Spencer and North Brookfield and B&W Shoe Co., Webster, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
The memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. SHREWSBURY -- John J. Borgatti, 76, formerly of Shrewsbury, a veteran of World War II, died Thursday, Jan. 31, in the Epoch Senior Healthcare, Northboro, after a long illness.
He leaves nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Henry, Albert, Vincent and Joseph Borgatti, and a sister, Cora Borgatti predeceased him. He was born in Shrewsbury, son of Charles and Emma (Benazzi) Borgatti and lived most of his life in Shrewsbury before moving to Northboro. He was a Marine veteran of World War II serving in the Philippines and Solomon Island.
Mr. Borgatti worked many years in various positions for Spag's Supply before retiring. He was a former member of St. Anne's Church. He was an avid golfer.
The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 2, from the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Road. Burial will be in St John's Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home. Malcolm A. Richardson; World War II veteran

BLANDFORD -- Malcolm A. Richardson, 81, of 75 Chester Road, formerly of the Whitinsville section of Northbridge and formerly of Uxbridge, a World War II veteran and a retired engineer, died Monday, Feb. 4, in Bay State Medical Center, Springfield, after an illness.
His wife, Anita (Trottier) Richardson, died in 1982. He leaves a son, Malcolm A. Richardson of Blandford; a daughter, Eileen Hooker of Blandford; a sister, Christina Fairbanks of Hyannis; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Norwood, son of Herbert and Florence (Graves) Richardson. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Richardson was a stationary engineer for Taunton Power and Light Co. before retiring. He was a longtime member of Charles A. Rice Post American Legion in Uxbridge.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, in Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Road, Uxbridge. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in the funeral home.

DUDLEY -- Chester D. Rukat, 85, a 12-year resident of Oakwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Webster, formerly of 17 Central Ave., Dudley, died Saturday, Feb. 2, in the nursing center.
He leaves a brother, Carol Rukat of Dudley; a sister, Victoria Shilinsky of Webster; his caretaker, Janet Hebert of Dudley; nephews and nieces. He was born in Dudley, son of Stanislaw and Martha (Richert) Rukat, and lived many years in the Webster-Dudley area.
Mr. Rukat was a factory worker and worked at Webster Spring, Oxford, before retiring.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, from Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew Bobola Church, West Main Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity.

(Guyette) Salls, 101, of Paula Circle, formerly of Warren, who died Tuesday, Jan. 29, will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. Burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery in Morristown, Vt., in the spring. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in the funeral home.
Her husband, Cecil E. Salls, died in 1956. She leaves a son, Darwin L. Salls of Athol; two daughters, Marie T. Comptois of Ware and Patricia C. Fenner of East Brookfield; a brother, Gleason Guyette of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Several brothers and a sister predeceased her. She was born in North Wolcott, Vt., daughter of Charles and Bertha I. (Deyette) Guyette, and lived 40 years in Morrisville, Vt., and 54 years in Warren before moving to East Brookfield seven years ago. She graduated from Peoples Academy, Morrisville.
Mrs. Salls was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

ATHOL -- Warren W. Sherwood, 88, of 821 Daniel Shays Highway, formerly of Elm Avenue, Royalston, who served on both the School Committee and Board of Selectmen in Royalston, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, in Quabbin Valley Healthcare.
He leaves his wife of 10 years, Althea M. (Sibley) Sherwood; a son, Thomas Sherwood of Jamestown, N.C.; two daughters, Lillian Fessenden of Preston, Conn., and Edna Haven of Athol; a stepson, Gunnar W. Lambert of Warwick; a stepdaughter, Judith Lambert of Flen, Sweden; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter. His first wife, Doris (Buckley) Sherwood, died in 1990. He was born in Royalston, son of Myron W. and Louise (Pratt) Sherwood, and lived there most of his life. He graduated from Athol High School in 1931 and from University of Massachusetts Stockbridge Agricultural School, Amherst, in 1933. He was a member of the Massachusetts State Guard.
While he was growing up, Mr. Sherwood worked on the family farm in Royalston. He later worked 36 years at L.S. Starrett Co., retiring in 1976. He was a member of Starrett Memorial United Methodist Church, Star-Athol Lodge of Masons and Athol Singing Men; a former member of Royalston School Committee; a joint commander for the Quabbin Valley Healthcare Veterans Club; and served on the Royalston Board of Selectmen. He enjoyed gardening.
The memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in Higgins-O'Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main St. Burial will be private in Silver Lake Cemetery. There are no calling hours. SOUTHBRIDGE -- Leonard F. Talbot, 61, of 35 Chartier Lane, a Vietnam War veteran, died Monday, Jan. 28, in the Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, Conn., after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Lillian M. (Miskavich) Talbot; two sons, Charles J. Talbot of Southbridge, and Theodore Talbot of Portland, Maine; a daughter, Judith Talbot of Portland; two brothers, Thomas Talbot of Pasadena, Fla., and Robert Talbot of Baltimore; a sister, Nancy Talbot of Boston; a grandchild; nephews and nieces. A son, Leonard Talbot, predeceased him. He was born in Haverhill, son of Leonard and Anna (Balukewicz) Talbot. He graduated from Boston Trade School and attended the University of Hawaii. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Talbot was a prominent radio personality for WORC for many years and worked for other radio stations during a career that spanned 20 years. For the past year, he was an advertising sales representative for Hotel Services International. He previously worked for Kaye Advertising and American International. He was an avid fan of jazz.
The funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 1, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. PHOENIX -- Bernie M. (McMahon) Tebo, 59, of Phoenix, formerly of Upton, Mass., died Wednesday, Jan. 23, at a hospice facility in Phoenix.
She leaves her husband of 38 years, Harry "Bucky" Tebo; a son, Bryan E. Tebo of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; a daughter, Cindy Tebo of Spencer, Mass.; her mother, Dorothy T. McMahon of Westboro, Mass.; three brothers, her twin, Robert McMahon of Auburn, Mass., Joseph McMahon in Georgia and Michael McMahon in Arizona; five sisters, Frances Errico in Connecticut, Carmel Nevers and Michelle Kist, both in Arizona, Patricia Adams of Milford, Mass., and Laurie Fantini of Upton; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was born in Worcester, Mass., daughter of Henry A. McMahon, and lived several years in the Upton area before moving to Phoenix.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 26, in Phoenix. A local memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westboro, followed by a memorial Mass at 4 p.m. in the church.

SPENCER -- Alexandra C. "Ella" (Sadowski) Thibault, 92, of Poway, Calif., formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, Jan. 19, at home.
Her husband, Napoleon Thibault died in 1978. She leaves a son, Raymond "Sonny" Thibeault of Poway; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Two sisters, Mary Weeks of Ware and Phyllis King of Worcester; and two brothers, Anthony Sadowski of Chicago and Francis Sadowski of Severn, Md. She was born in Gilbertville section of Harwick, daughter of Augustas and Mary (Brodowski) Sadowski and lived there and in Spencer for several years before moving to California.
Mrs. Thibault was a stitcher for the former Klevin's Shoe of Spencer, retiring in 1975. She had previously operated Thibault Cleaners along with her husband. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church of Spencer. She was an avid walker and in the Howe Village section of Spencer she was called "The Queen of Cards."
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in St. Aloysius Church, Church Street, Gilbertville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. There are no calling hours. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., Ware, is directing arrangements.

KEENE, N.H. -- Leo A. Vaine, 75, of 29 Oriole Ave., formerly of Winchendon, Mass., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, at home.
He leaves his former wife, Beverly J. Dunton, with whom he lived; three sons, Anthony T. and Terrance M. Vaine, both of Keene, and Timothy M. Vaine of Alstead; a daughter, Tara M. Morris of Keene; 13 grandchildren. He was born in Winchendon, son of George O. and Louise E. (Varicur) Vaine, and lived in Winchendon and Rindge before moving to Keene in 1983. He graduated from Murdock High School, Winchendon, in 1944 and from Bentley College in Waltham, Mass.
Mr. Vaine was treasurer for the Worcester (Mass.) Chamber of Commerce and then an accountant at Hampshire Country School, Rindge, before retiring. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and earned a knight's sword. He was a sports enthusiast.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in Fletcher-Hebert Funeral Home, 70 Pleasant St., Winchendon. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon. A calling hour is 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in the funeral home.
