MILFORD -- Evelyn P. (Bianchi) Patterson, 79, formerly of Meade Street, died Friday, Dec. 7, in West Ridge Health Care Center, Marlboro.
Her first husband, Raymond Bullard, died in 1974. Her second husband, Charles Patterson, died in 1986. She leaves a sister, Antoinette Blake, of Milford. A brother, Mario Bianchi, and a sister, Elvira Falco, predeceased her. She was born in Milford, daughter of Vito and Maria (Filosa) Bianchi. She graduated from Milford High School in 1940.
Mrs. Patterson was a telephone operator for NYNEX Corp., retiring in the 1960s. She previously worked at the former Women's Store and former Petnov T.V. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main St. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, in the funeral home.
Esther J. Vander Pyl, 76

FALMOUTH -- Esther J. (Pickett) Vander Pyl, 76, of 23 Little John Road, formerly of Millbury, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, at her home, after a battle with cancer.
Her husband, Adrian W. Vander Pyl, died in 1995. She leaves a son, Robert Vander Pyl of Falmouth; a daughter, Nancy J. Vander Pyl of Falmouth; a brother, Thomas F. Pickett of Millbury; three sisters, Alice Lucier, Gertrude Lebel and Louise Murphy, all of Millbury; a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. A brother, G. Raymond Pickett, and three sisters, Doris Watts, Myrna Stewart and Frances Lucier, predeceased her. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Thomas R. and Emeline (Phinney) Picket, and lived many years there before moving to Rutland. She later lived in Denver, and moved to Falmouth six years ago. She was a graduate of Millbury High School.
Mrs. Vander Pyl was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, dancing and reading mysteries.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 15, in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 923 Main St., Yarmouthport, MA 02675. Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., is directing arrangements.
Thomas C. Alexander, 42

GARDNER -- Thomas C. Alexander, 42, of 142 Nichols St., a laborer, died Sunday, Dec. 16, at home.
He leaves two brothers, John S. Alexander of West Hartford, Conn., and James W. Alexander of Rocky Hill, Conn.; two nieces. He was born in Hartford, son of John W. and Norma (LeVasseur) Alexander. He attended Farmington (Conn.) High School. He earned his Graduation Equivelancy Degree while serving in the Army.
Mr. Alexander was a laborer for many construction companies in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, in the cemetery Chapel of the State Veterans' Cemetery, Middletown, Conn. Oscar Anderson Jr., 70

AUBURN -- Oscar W. "Bill" Anderson Jr., 70, of 2 Jay St., died Thursday, Dec. 13, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after a battle with lung cancer.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Joyce A. (Morang) Anderson; a son, Gary Anderson of Auburn; and two grandchildren, Justin Anderson and Alexandria Anderson, both of Auburn. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Oscar W. Anderson Sr. and Beatrice (Beadry) Anderson, and attended North High School, Worcester. He served four years in the Marine Corps.
Mr. Anderson was a salesman for more than 40 years. For most of his career, he sold maps for Hearne Brothers engineering of Michigan, Champion Map of Florida, and Rand-McNally Corp. of New York. He was a sports fan and followed area softball teams in local and tournament play. He enjoyed fishing.
The funeral service will be held at the family's convenience. There are no calling hours. Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., is directing arrangements.
Carole Ann Beauchemin

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. -- Carole Ann Beauchemin, 56, of Newbury Park, formerly of Leominster, Mass., died Monday, Dec. 17, in West Hills.
She leaves her husband, Jim Beauchemin; a sister, Marie Russell of Worcester; nieces and nephews, including Donna Mann of Shrewsbury, John Mann, Michael McCumber and Bill Russell III, all of Worcester; grandnieces and grandnephews. She was born in Leominster, and lived 26 years in California.
She was an assistant manager many years for Security Pacific Bank.
The memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 228 Lincoln St., Worcester. Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary, Thousand Oaks, is directing arrangements.
Dennis L. Besaw, 65

WORCESTER -- Dennis L. Besaw, 65, of 1050 Main St., died Thursday, Dec. 20, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus after an illness.
He leaves his ex-wife, Dorothy (Mayotte) Besaw; a daughter, Heather D. Bercune of Pinellas Park, Fla.; his mother, Elva M. (LeClare) Besaw of Worcester; three stepsons, Frederick A. and Ronald J. Besaw, both of Worcester, and Paul D. Besaw of Leicester; three brothers, Frederick A. and Paul H. Besaw, both of Worcester, and Ralph J. Besaw of Whitinsville; a sister, Rosalie E. Mayotte of Worcester; two grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. He was born in Northbridge, son of Leo J. Besaw, and lived most of his life in Worcester. He attended Sutton High School.
Mr. Besaw was a self-contracting carpenter, retiring in 1999. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, in Hope Cemetery. Calling hour is 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, in the funeral home.

MILLBURY -- David P. Cadrin, 48, of 12 Bellville Lane, died Monday, Dec. 17, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University Campus, Worcester, from injuries suffered in an accident at Truck Service in Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 23 years, Patricia L. (Small) Cadrin; two sons, Jason D. and Nathan R. Cadrin, and two daughters, Lisa M. and Lindsay A. Cadrin, all of Millbury; his mother, Marguerite (Roberge) Cadrin of South Grafton; four brothers, James P., Michael P., William P. and Joseph L. Cadrin, all of South Grafton; a sister, Susan M. Cadrin of the Manchaug section of Sutton; nephews and nieces. He was born in Northbridge, son of Paul L. Cadrin, and graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, Upton, in 1973.
Mr. Cadrin was a welder for Truck Service, Worcester. Previously, he had worked 15 years for Creative Welding Co., Grafton. For seven years, he owned and operated Blackstone Valley Welding Co., South Grafton.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, from Misiaszek Funeral Home, 124 Main St., South Grafton, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, in the funeral home. Josephine Cecco, 89

DUDLEY -- Josephine (Lensky) Cecco, 89, formerly of West Main St., a retired professor from Springfield College, died Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Manor at Waymart, Waymart, Pa.
Her husband, Edward Cecco, predeceased her. She leaves nieces and nephews. She was born in Dudley, daughter of George and Josephine (Migdal) Lensky. She graduated from Bartlett High School, Worcester, in 1931, and Worcester Teachers College in 1935. She received a master's degree from Columbia University in 1939 and a doctorate in education from Boston University in 1968.
Mrs. Recco was a teacher. She worked at the Dudley Junior High School, Auburn Middle School and Springfield College, retiring in 1979. She was a life member of Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, Webster, and Blessed Sacrament Society. At the church, she was a member of choir, served on the parish committee and was a Sunday school teacher.
The funeral will be held Friday, Dec. 28, from the Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Polish National Catholic Church, 68 Lake St., Webster. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home. WEBSTER -- Helen B. (Szymanski) Dziembowski, 79, of 48/4 Whitcomb St., died Thursday, Dec. 13, at her sister's home.
Her husband of 57 years, Theodore R. Dziembowski, died in March. She leaves two sisters, Viola J. Bergner of Webster and Leona G. McCann of Dudley; nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. A brother, Bernard Szymanski, died in 1999. She was born in Webster, daughter of William and Julianne (Schur) Szymanski, and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1940.
Mrs. Dziembowski worked at Stevens Linen Associates, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Louis Parish and enjoyed reading, cooking and swimming.
The funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 17, from Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake St. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, in the funeral home. WEBSTER -- Helen T. (Horsky) Goff, 86, of 12 Houghton St., formerly of 9 State St., Oxford, died Thursday, Dec. 13, at home.
Her husband of many years, Edward W. Goff, died in 1994. She leaves five sons, Edward F. Goff of Spencer, Albert W. Goff of Brookfield, William R. Goff of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Michael C. Goff of Orange, Fla., and David L. Goff of Sutton; a daughter, Janis McManus of Webster; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was born in Springfield, Vt., daughter of Walter and Anastasia (Tasminsky) Horsky, and lived most of her life in Oxford. She lived three months in Webster.
Mrs. Goff was a homemaker.

WEBSTER -- Cora E. (Lang) Jodoin, 87, of 28 Thompson Road, died Friday, Dec. 21, in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
Her husband, Clarence Jodoin, died in 1971. She leaves a son, James C. Jodoin of Webster; a granddaughter, Karen Jodoin; nieces and nephews, including Pamela Lang Reddick of Webster. A brother, Clarence Lang, and a sister, Louise Lang, predeceased her. She was born in Webster, daughter of Louis and Milda (Fuchs) Lang, and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1932.
Mrs. Jodoin was a pantographer many years at Cranston Print Works Co., retiring many years ago.
She was a member of United Church of Christ Federated.

SCIENCE HILL, Ky. -- Heather M. Lovell, 29, of Wells Stable Road, Science Hill, formerly of Uxbridge, Mass., and Whitinsville, Mass., died Saturday, Dec. 8, in Science Hill.
She leaves two sons, Casey Wilson and Brian Ramsey, both of Science Hill; a daughter, Kayla Gossett of Science Hill; her mother and stepfather, June M. (Bourassa) Stepp and David Wheeler of Somerset; her grandmother, Rita Burrows of Douglas, Mass.; and two nephews. A nephew predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, Mass., and lived in Whitinsville and in Uxbridge before moving to Kentucky several years ago.
She was a waitress at a local Cracker Barrel restaurant.
