WORCESTER -- Patricia E. (Murray) Falcone, 76, of 16 Gifford Drive, a retired switchboard operator, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 55 years, Louis J. Falcone; two daughters, Maureen C. Shannon of Centerville and Patricia L. Falcone of Worcester; a brother, Thomas Murray of Scotland; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A son, Louis Paul Falcone, died in 1994. She was born
in Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Nolan) Murray, and moved to Worcester more than 55 years ago.
Mrs. Falcone was a switchboard operator for more than 20 years for Shawmut Bank, retiring in 1991. Previously, she managed Acme Answering Service for 25 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, from Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial of ashes will be at the family's convenience. UXBRIDGE -- John C. Gordon III, 48, of Harvest Road, died Friday, Nov. 16, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Pamela M. (Lucca) Gordon; his parents, John C. Gordon Jr. and Constance (Wade) Gordon of Zephyrhills, Fla.; a daughter, Lynn M. Gordon of Uxbridge; three sisters, Linda Gordon Dexton, Patricia Kogut, and Gail Reid, all of Maine. He was born
in Canaan, Maine, and lived most of his life in Uxbridge. He graduated from Uxbridge High School.
Mr. Gordon was branch manager for Kaman Industrial Technologies of Canton. He worked there 28 years.
He was a member of the town fire department for 10 years, and was an emergency medical technician. He enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles, fishing, and golfing.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. UXBRIDGE -- Roger W. McGloin, 81, of Bacon Street, a World War II veteran and a master plumber, died Thursday, Nov. 8, at home.
His wife, Ruth A. (Gendron) McGloin, died in 1999. He leaves a son, Jack McGloin of Uxbridge; a daughter, Patty Johnston of Uxbridge; two sisters, Ella Smith of Uxbridge and Marcia Fraser of South Yarmouth; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was born
in Uxbridge, son of William and Ida (Greene) McGloin, and graduated from Uxbridge High School. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving in Asia and the Pacific.
Mr. McGloin was a licensed master plumber, who owned and operated a plumbing business for more than 30 years. For 50 years, he was the town's plumbing and gas inspector. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. He was a sportsman, who enjoyed boating and fishing.
The funeral, with full military honors, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, from Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St., with a Mass at noon in St. Mary's Church, Mendon Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A calling hour is 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the funeral home. George M. Moran, 83

UXBRIDGE -- George M. Moran, 83, of 22 Fair St., a World War II veteran, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after an illness.
His wife, Mary C. (Montville) Moran, died in March. He leaves a son, Richard J. Moran of Whitinsville; a brother, William H. Moran of Northbridge; two sisters, Helen J. McNeil of Whitinsville and Eleanor F. Halacy of Florida; several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, John and Richard Moran, both died serving in World War II. He was born
in Boston, son of George A. and Eleanor M. (Murray) Moran, and lived most of his life in Uxbridge. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He graduated from Northbridge High School and Worcester Boys Trade High School.
Mr. Moran was an inspector 43 years at the Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church, and was a sexton. He was president of St. Mary's Cemetery Corp., and was a former member of the Uxbridge Fire Department and Police Auxiliary. He was a Worcester County deputy sheriff.
He was a member of John and Richard Moran Post Veterans of Foreign Wars in Whitinsville.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Road, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 71 Mendon St. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. ASHLAND -- John M. Murphy Jr., infant son of John and Virginia (DiRamio) Murphy of Ashland, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, in Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham.
Besides his parents, he leaves a sister; his maternal grandparents; his paternal grandmother, Kathleen (Cove) Murphy of Worcester; and his maternal great-grandmother.

She leaves her husband, Angel Martinez; a son, Angel Martinez of Worcester; three daughters, Marilyn, Jacqueline and Jessica Martinez, all of Worcester; her mother, Sixta Ramos of Worcester; nine brothers, Jose, Wilfredo, Eugene, Miguel, Alfonso, Nelson, Adito and Eladio Ramos, all of Worcester, and Edwin Ramos of Puerto Rico; three sisters, Norma Martinez of Worcester, Brenda and Kathy Ramos, both of Puerto Rico; and a grandchild. She was born
in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, daughter of Eufemio Ramos, and lived here 22 years.
Mrs. Ramos was a homemaker.

He leaves a son, Devon H. Tivnan of Northampton; his parents, Francis J. and Jane A. (Lynch) Tivnan of Worcester; a brother, Brendon Tivnan of Branford, Conn.; two sisters, Maureen Tivnan Lentz of Westwood and Kathleen M. Johnson of Worcester; two nieces; and his former wife, Nancy (Gage) Tivnan of Northampton. He was born
in Worcester and graduated from St. Peter-Marian High School and WITI. He recently attended Quinsigamond Community College.
Mr. Tivnan formerly worked in security at TJ Maxx. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing.

DUDLEY -- Walter S. Wrubel, 90, of Chase Avenue, a retired chemical company employee, died Sunday, Oct. 21, in Hubbard Regional Hospital, Webster, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 19 years, Shirley M. (Clementson) Wrubel; two sons, Stanley "Neve" Wrubel of Dudley and Philip "Kevin" Wrubel of Worcester; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. His first wife, of 43 years, Eunice M. (Neve) Wrubel, died in 1975. A son, Kenneth "Richard" Wrubel of Antioch, Calif., died in 1988. A sister, Jean DeVisser of Rome, N.Y., died last year. A grandson also predeceased him. He was born
in Southbridge, son of Stanley and Sophia (Trzpit) Wrubel, and lived 42 years in Oxford and 10 years in Webster before moving to Dudley in 1987.
Mr. Wrubel was a kettle operator for Gordon Chemical Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1978. Previously, he was a hosiery knitter at M.K.M. Knitting Mill, Rochdale section of Leicester, for 20 years. He was a member of St. Roch's Church, Oxford. He was a horse racing enthusiast.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. He leaves his parents, Stephen F. Ames of Boylston and Tamara Arnone of Connecticut; and his paternal grandparents, Horace A. and Ruth M. (Hall) Ames of Worcester. He was born
in Worcester and lived the past several years at Sunshine Haven, Whitinsville.

MARLBORO -- Michael A. Casaceli, 71, of Marlboro, a Korean War veteran, died, Saturday, Nov. 17, at home after a long battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Mary R. (Kittredge) Casaceli; a daughter, Kathleen M. Brumby of Northboro; three sons, Steven Casaceli of Southboro, David A. Casaceli of Bolton, and Michael C. Casaceli of Northboro; two sisters, Mary Bowles of Virginia and Virginia Matthews of Ayer; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was born
in Marlboro, son of John and Angelina (Biviano) Casaceli, and lived his entire life here. He graduated from Marlboro High School in 1948 and served with the Army in the Korean War.
Mr. Casaceli worked 41 years as a designer draftsman for Fenwal Co. in Ashland, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Marlboro Fish and Game Association and the Marlboro American Legion. He enjoyed building radio-controlled airplanes.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, from John P. Rowe Funeral Home, 57 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He leaves his wife of 49 years, Marcella E. (Simpson) Knox; two sons, Michael F. Knox of Leicester and James E. Knox of South Daytona, Fla.; a daughter, Lisa E. Carney of Albany; three brothers, Walter and Herbert Knox, both of Worcester, Mass., and Robert Knox of Oxford, Mass.; four sisters, Alma Morrow of Oxford, Helena Blake of the Rochdale section of Leicester, Lois Richardson of Worcester and Judith Mikat of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. A sister, Norma Pong of Worcester, predeceased him. He was born
in Worcester, son of Horace F. and Anna B. (Starbard) Knox, and lived in Leicester before moving to New York in 1977. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School and attended Worcester Junior College. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Knox was a salesman for 36 years for the Heald Machine division of Cincinatti Milicron Corp. in Worcester and Albany, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Delmar Post 3185. He was a former member of Leicester Recreation Committee and formerly coached Youth Basketball in Leicester. He was a former member of Trowbridge United Methodist Church, Worcester.
The funeral service will be private in Morrison-Morin Funeral Home, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will be at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton, Mass. He leaves his wife, Mary Anne (Yanusas) Labonte; his mother, Eleanor Labonte of Southbridge; a son, Thomas Bennett of North Brookfield, Mass.; three daughters, Monique M. Curboy of Sturbridge, Mass., Linda J. Labonte of Southbridge, and Leeanne Sigrist of Florida; two brothers, Richard Labonte of Holland, Mass. and Raymond Labonte of Southbridge; two sisters, Patricia Holt of Florida and Jacqueline Hibbits of Florida; nine grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born
in Southbridge, son of Roger Labonte, and was educated in Southbridge and Sturbridge schools.
Mr. Labonte owned and operated Western Maine Steel for many years. He was a member of St. Catherine's of Sienna Church and the Norway Country Club.

in Worcester, daughter of George F. and Elaine C. (Lever) Perry, and was raised in Holden. She graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden.

WEBSTER -- Josephine H. (Sroczynski) Brezniak, 88, formerly of 18 Pepka Drive, died Thursday, Nov. 22, in St. Francis Home, Worcester, after a short illness.
Her husband of 54 years, Anthony K. Brezniak, died in 1990. She leaves a daughter, Esther J. Zinkus of Worcester; two sisters, Celia Placzek and Genevieve Sroczynski, both of Webster; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Peter and Leo Sroczynski, and two sisters, Emily Czechowski and Joan Lenky, predeceased her. She was born
in Webster, daughter of Aloysius and Apolonia (Mroczek) Sroczynski.
Mrs. Brezniak worked at Sandlerette Footwear Co. for several years, retiring in 1977. She previously was a spinner at Maanexit Spinning Co. for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Basilica, and belonged to its Sacred Heart Society and St. Anne Society. She enjoyed crocheting.
