HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Francis J. Reardon Jr., 58, of 4085 West Tilden Road, formerly of Worcester, Mass., who worked in the education profession, died Saturday, Nov. 10, in Holy Spirit Hospital.
He leaves his wife, Kathleen G. Reardon; a daughter, Deirdre A. Reardon of El Cerrito, Calif.; a brother, Richard J. Reardon of Worcester; and a sister, Patricia M. Humphrey of Worcester. He was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, son of Francis J. Reardon Sr. and Agnes C. Reardon, and was raised in Worcester.
Mr. Reardon was an educational research associate for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bureau of Teacher Certification and Preparation. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church. He was also a member of several career-related organizations.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in St. Margaret Mary Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Jesse H. WORCESTER -- John A. Remington, 41, of 16 Marsh Ave., a car salesman, was found dead Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Worcester.
He leaves a son, Michael J. Remington of Grafton; his father, Charles A. Remington, with whom he lived; four brothers, Michael J. and Patrick J. Remington, both of Worcester, Charles R. Remington of Cheshire, Conn., and Joseph D. Remington of Scituate; a sister, Theresa A. Nummelin of Holden; nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, son of Theresa P. (Gentile) Remington, and graduated from Burncoat Senior High School in 1977, where he played on the championship football team. He later attended UMass Extension school and Quinsigamond Community College.
Mr. Remington was a car salesman for Edward Buick. He also worked for Allmerica Financial. He was a sportsman.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in St. George Church, 38 Brattle St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. There are no calling hours. Flowers may be sent, or donations made to a charity. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., is directing arrangements.

LUNENBURG -- Christina H. (Peterson) Ritari, 78, of 21 Harris Ave., died Saturday, Nov. 10, in the HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital after a short illness.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Rudolph C. Ritari; a son, Paul R. Ritari and a daughter, Christina H. Moeckel, all of Lunenburg; a sister, Nancy Cabana of Fitchburg, and two grandchildren. She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Axel and Harriet (Chever) Peterson and has lived in Lunenburg since 1948. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1943.
Mrs. Ritari was a cafeteria worker in the Lunenburg school system for several years, before retiring in 1981. She was previously a stitcher at the former Margolins Pocketbook in Fitchburg and the former Cluett-Peabody Co. in Leominster. She was a member of the Pilgrim Covenant Church and the Lady Emma Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Massachusetts Ave. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Nov. 14, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassion over Killing, P.O. Box 9773, Washington, DC 20016.

VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Orrin R. Robbins, 80, of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Sutton, Mass., died Sunday, Oct. 14, in Indian River Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Julie Robbins; a son, Orrin R. Robbins Jr. of Olympia, Wash.; a daughter, Barbara Robbins-Bell of Worcester, Mass.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson. He was born in Sutton, and moved to Vero Beach in 1991. He graduated from Becker College in Worcester in 1941. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in China, Burma and India, and receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross.
Mr. Robbins worked for the state of Massachusetts and in Worcester County, Mass. He was a state auditor in Massachusetts for more than 30 years. He was a clerk for the Sutton Board of Assessors, and was also a board member and chairman during his 31-year career with the town.
Inurnment was in Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay.

FITCHBURG -- Theo Robison, 83, of 518 North St., died Friday, Nov. 9, in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital after being stricken ill at home.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Betty M. (Bent) Robison; two sons, Richard J. Robison of Fitchburg and John C. Robison of Ashland; three grandchildren; two nieces. He was born in Tom, Okla., son of John and Vera (Counts) Robison, and was part Choctaw Indian. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe. He received the Bronze Star, and worked in Civilian Conservation Corps camps. He lived 56 years in Fitchburg.
He was a crossing guard at McKay School, and previously worked 19 years at the former Watatic Spinning Mills and 25 years for the city highway department. He retired in 1984.
He was a former member of Christ Church, and was a member of Pearl Hill Rebekah Lodge 47 and Leominster Lodge of Odd Fellows 86. He was a member of the former auxiliary police in Fitchburg.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua, N.H. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in the funeral home. Rebekah Lodge will hold a service at 7 p.m. during the calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140-1102.

He leaves a sister, Myrtle Blenkhorn of Berlin; nephews and nieces. A brother, Irving Rogers, and four sisters, Violet Hickey, Eleanor Pond, Minnie Brown and Helen Doyle, predeceased him. He was born in Berlin, son of Walter F. Rogers Sr. and Annie (Brown) Rogers, and attended Berlin schools.
Mr. Rogers enjoyed vacationing in Vermont.

PUTNAM -- Anthony V. Savulis, 79, of Liberty Highway, died Sunday, Nov. 11, at Day Kimball Hospital following a short illness.
He leaves his wife, Winifred (Rushford) Savulis; a son, Brian Savulis of Putnam; a daughter, Ellen-Rose Savulis of Amherst; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces. A brother, Alphonse Savolis, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Sergei and Rose (Blizgis) Savulis, and lived in Auburn before moving to Connecticut in 1964. He received a bachelor's degree from Clark University, Worcester, and a master's in education from Eastern Connecticut College.
Mr. Savulis taught at the former Shepherd Knapp School, Boylston, and in Warren. He retired from Sterling Memorial High School, Oneco, in 1982, following 20 years of teaching. He was a member of Windham-Tolland Retired Teachers Association and served on the Scholarship Committee. He was elected to the Thompson Library Board and helped bring the first bookmobile service to Thompson. He served as Boy Scout master in Thompson, and during his retirement, volunteered for the annual walk for birth defects. He also volunteered as a tour guide for Roseland Cottage in Woodstock and was a 49-year member for the Grange of Auburn. He was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation church since 1983. He had also been a member of St. Joseph Church in North Grosvenordale for 23 years.
The funeral will be held at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary of the Visitation, 218 Providence St. Burial will be in West Thompson Cemetery. Calling hours are 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anthony Savulis Book Fund, Thompson Public Library, North Grosvendorale, CT 06255.

DUDLEY -- Edmund "Sam" G. Sendrowski, 86, of 14 James St., a World War II veteran, died Monday, Nov. 12, in Hubbard Regional Hospital, Webster.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Gladys (Filipski) Sendrowski; three sons, Peter Sendrowski of Allentown, Pa., John Sendrowski of North Grosvenordale, and Joseph Sendrowski of Dudley; five daughters, June Sendrowski of England, Alicia Flynn of Webster, Regina Fish of Dudley, Christine Sendrowski of Oxford, and Elizabeth Vickery of Orrington, Maine; two brothers, Chester Sendrowski of Holden and Henry Sendrowski of Worcester; a sister, Jane Samko of Worcester; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Gardner, son of Stanilslaus and Alexandera (Cherubin) Sendrowski, and was raised in Worcester. He served in the Merchant Marines in World War II.
Mr. Sendrowski worked more than 40 years as a maintenance mechanic for New England High Carbon Co., Millbury, retiring in 1978. He was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church and served on the board of directors of the Polish Guards, Dudley. He enjoyed square dancing and woodworking.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St. A private burial will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. She leaves her husband of 39 years, Joseph L. Seymour; a son, Joseph R. Seymour of North Brookfield, Mass.; a daughter, Brenda L. Cibien of Brimfield, Mass.; and four grandchildren. She was born in North Brookfield, daughter of Adrien and Julia Poirier. She attended North Brookfield schools.
She worked several years for Barre Wool Combing Co., South Barre, Mass. Previously, she was a health aide and worked as a clerk for United Waste Products, Barre. She volunteered with Quabbin Pro Musica and the Quabbin Regional High School Music Department.
A memorial service will be held in March at St. Joseph's Church, North Brookfield. Memorial contributions may be made to David's House, P.O. Box 660, Lebanon, N.H. 03766. Rand-Wilson Funeral Home, Hanover, N.H., is directing arrangements.

She leaves her husband of 39 years, Joseph L. Seymour; a son, Joseph R. Seymour of North Brookfield; a daughter, Brenda L. Cibien of Brimfield, Mass.; and four grandchildren. She was born in North Brookfield, daughter of Adrien and Julia (Judycki) Poirier, and attended North Brookfield schools.
