WEBSTER -- Stephen T. Suklis IV, 29, of Negus Street, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, at home after a short illness.
He leaves his mother and stepfather, Marcia (Duxbury) and Marco A. Arango of Webster; a brother, Alan C. Suklis of Webster; a sister, Jayna L. Suklis of Oxford; a niece; uncles and aunts, including Virginia Suklis of Oxford, with whom he lived for five years. He was born in Webster, son of Stephen T. Suklis III, and lived in Webster and several years in Oxford before returning to Webster six years ago. He graduated from Bay Path Vocational Technical School, Charlton, in 1990 and attended Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester. He served in the Army Reserves.
Mr. Suklis worked a year for Domino's Pizza. He attended Cornerstone Community Church in Spencer and was a former member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. He was a member of the Distant Thunder Motorcycle Association and was a full patch holder of the association and an honorary member of the Harley Owners Group. He was an advocate of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a skilled artist and a tattoo artist, and he loved animals.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be in West Sutton Cemetery, Sutton. Calling hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in the funeral home.

WEBSTER -- Raymond Martis, 53, of 15 Sibley Ave.,a Vietnam War veteran, died Thursday, Sept. 6, in Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken ill at work.
He leaves two sisters, the Rev. Sister Barbara Theresa, with the Felician Sisters in Bangor, Maine, and Elizabeth Ann Martis of Webster. He was born in Webster, son of John and Rose L. (Pelczarski) Martis, and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1966. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Martis worked Cranston Print Works Co., where he had held several posts the past 29 years. He was also the safety officer at the plant and a member of its fire department.
He was a 29-year member of the Webster Fire Department, retiring this year as captain of Hose One. He was also a driver training instructor for the department. He was a member and past treasurer of the Webster Brotherhood of Firefighters and was a former volunteer emergency medical technician for the Webster Ambulance Squad. He held a national certification as an EMT and formerly taught in its training program.
He was a member of St. Joseph Basilica and volunteered in the kitchen at parish festivals. He was a member of Webster-Dudley American Legion Post 184.
The funeral, with fire department and military honors, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, in the funeral home. Barbara Levy, 63

NEWTON -- Barbara (Montag) Levy, 63, of Newton, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday, Aug. 4, at home after a battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband, Harvey Levy; two daughters, Larni Levy of Cambridge and Vicki Levy Krupp of Needham; a sister, Joyce Greenberg of Worcester; three grandchildren. A sister, Priscilla Olans, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul P. Montag, and moved to Newton in 1968. She received a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and received a master's degree from Boston College.
Mrs. Levy taught maternal and child health at the Boston University Graduate School of Nursing and Lasell Junior College. For several years prior to her death, she was coordinator for pediatric volunteer services at Boston Medical Center.
In 1997, she received the Unsung Hero Award from the United Way, and in 1999, she was given a We Care Recognition Award from Boston Medical Center.
The funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 6, in Temple Emanuel. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Donations may be made to the Boston Medical Center Kids Fund, Boston Medical Center, 1 BMC Place, Development Office, Boston, MA 02118.

THOMPSON -- Shawn T. Houle, 38, of 573 Riverside Drive, North Grosvenordale, a chef, died Monday, Sept. 3, at home after an illness.
He leaves his parents, Shirley (Morrison) Houle of North Grosvenordale and Lawrence O. Houle Sr. of Dayville; five brothers, Lawrence O. Houle Jr., Ray and Philip Houle, all of North Grosvenordale, Jean Houle of Rapid City, S. D., and Daniel Houle of Boston; three sisters, Virginia Houle of Kissimee, Fla., Valentine Iamartino of Thompson, and Eva Houle of North Grosvenordale; nieces and nephews. He was born in Putnam, and graduated from Tourtellotte Memorial High School in 1981 and Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute in Providence in 1982.
Mr. Houle was manager and chef at the Golden Greek Restaurant in Attawaugan. He was previously a custodian for 13 years in the Thompson public school system. He enjoyed cooking, deep sea fishing, and bicycling. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in North Grosvenordale and St. Bernard Council 2078 Knights of Columbus in North Grosvenordale. He participated in the Relay for Life the past two years.

CLINTON -- William A. ""Buzz" Bazydlo Jr., 56, of 126 Summit St., died Saturday, Sept. 8, at home after being stricken ill.
His wife, Hester F. (Lively) Bazydlo, died in 1998. He leaves a son, Philip E. Bazydlo of Clinton; a daughter, Lisa M. Bazydlo of Clinton; his mother, Wanda J. (Makowski) Bazydlo of Clinton; two brothers, Robert S. Bazydlo of Dudley and Bruce J. Bazydlo of Clinton; nephews and nieces. He was born in Clinton, son of William A. Bazydlo Sr., and graduated from Clinton High School in 1963.
Mr. Bazydlo was a police officer in Boylston for more than 20 years, serving as sergeant since 1982. He retired in 1998.
He was a member of Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church, Polish American Veterans Club, Westminster Country Club and Massachusetts Police Association. He was a former member of the Clinton Lodge of Elks. He was a scout for the Clinton High School football team and previously was assistant freshman football coach.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, from Robert J. McNally Funeral Home, 304 Church St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church, 128 Franklin St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. CHARLTON -- Paulette C. (Lepain) Bibeau-Zaloga, 46, of 35 Knollwood Drive, a purchasing agent, died Monday, July 23, in Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, after an illness.
She leaves her husband, Stanley E. Zaloga; a son, Steven Bibeau of Manchester, N. H. ; her parents, Normand P. and Cecile R. (Asselin) Lepain of Southbridge. She was born in Southbridge.
Mrs. Bibeau-Zaloga was a purchasing agent and planner at Karl Storz Endovision Inc. for 10 years. She previously worked at Schott Fiber Optic in Southbridge for 10 years.
She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and traveling.
The funeral will be private from Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, in Notre Dame Church, 446 Main St., Southbridge. HARWICH PORT -- William F. Murphy, 69, of Harwich Port, formerly of Worcester, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, at home.
His wife, Marcia Ann (Waters) Murphy, died May 11. He leaves two sons, Thomas Murphy of Holland, Pa., and James Murphy of New York; two daughters, Kathryn O'Leary of Riverside, Conn., and Nancy Gilarde of Hopkinton; a sister, Nancy Murphy of Harwich Port; and nine grandchildren. A sister, Jane M. Murphy, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester and lived in Newton; Fairfield, Conn. ; Nashua, N. H. ; and Princeton Junction, N. J., before moving to Harwich Port in 1994. He graduated from Our Lady's High School, Newton, and Northeastern University, Boston. He was a master sergeant with the Army in Korea from 1955 to 1957.
Mr. Murphy was a controller with Johnson & Johnson Co. before retiring. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Harwich, and Cranberry Valley Golf Club, Harwich.
The funeral will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, from Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St., West Harwich, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Route 28, West Harwich. WORCESTER -- Lee A. Canty, 45, of 162 James St., a pharmacy technician, died Saturday, Aug. 18, in the Hospice Residence.
She leaves her mother, Helen E. (Pettis) Canty Mooney of Millbury; three sisters, Patricia A. Tilton of Worcester, Donna A. Morin of Oxford and Barbara A. Walsh of Southbridge; her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth (Walsh) Pettis of Webster; her stepfather, James F. Mooney of Millbury; two stepsisters, Laureen Cadorette of Millbury and Kathleen Sampson of Sutton; a stepbrother, James Mooney of Sutton; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest H. Canty.
Miss Canty was a pharmacy technician at Fallon Clinic on Plantation Street for the past year. Previously, she was an underwriter's assistant at Paul Revere Life Insurance Co. for 10 years and for the Small Business Service Bureau on Main Street. She enjoyed sailing.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21, from Callahan Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. WEBSTER -- Arthur W. Kruger, 53, of 21 Emerald Ave., died Wednesday, Aug. 15, in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 32 years, Nancy G. (Naumann) Kruger; a son, Christian A. Kruger of Webster; a daughter, Rebecca A. Philbrook of Quinebaug; a brother, Dr. Clifford Kruger of Monson; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Webster, son of Theodore and Laura (Gatzke) Kruger. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1965 and Worcester State College in 1969.
Mr. Kruger was a schoolteacher 33 years in Webster schools, most recently at the Anthony J. Sitkowski School.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oxford, the Webster Education Association, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, and the National Education Association. He was a member of the board of governors for Webster Schools, and was a building representative at the Anthony J. Sitkowski School. He was a ticket collector for football and basketball events for 25 years. He taught driver education at Bartlett High School for 15 years.
The graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, in Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main Street. He leaves a son, Danny Gonzalez of Florida; a brother, Jorge L. Gonzalez of Worcester; and a sister, Carmen G. Gonzalez of Florida. He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, son of Pablo J. Gonzalez Sr. and Dolores Garcia, and lived here 22 years.

WEBSTER -- Leon S. ""Casey" Kujawski Jr., 73, of 104 Union Point Road, a retired business co-owner, died Monday, Aug. 20, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University Campus, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Lorraine (Kozlowski) Kujawski; a daughter, Jane L. Place of Webster; two sons, state Rep. Paul L. Kujawski and Selectman Jan F. Kujawski, both of Webster; a brother, Charles Kujawski of Webster; five grandsons; a great-grandson; many nephews and nieces. He was born in Webster, son of Leon S. Sr. and Josephine (Bialy) Kujawski.
Mr. Kujawski co-owned Harris Street Market.
He was a member of the Webster Fire Department for 40 years, and was appointed chief in 1991. He was also forest fire warden.
He was a past president of the Blackstone Valley Forestry Association, and was a former water and public works commissioner in Webster. He was a member of the Massachusetts Forestry Association and the Massachusetts Fire Council. He was a Little League coach, managed the Booster AC Cardinals and was a member of the Little League board of directors.
Mr. Kujawski was a member of St. Joseph Basilica.
