MILFORD -- Benito R. Giacomelli, 88, of 31 Ravena St., died Tuesday, April 17, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital after an illness.
His wife, Celia A. (Lucciarini) Giacomelli, died in 1985. He leaves a son, Benjamin R. Giacomelli of Charlton; a daughter, Beverly A. Carnaroli of Milford; and five grandchildren. Four brothers, Primo, James, Gino and Quinto Giacomelli, predeceased him. He was born in Milford, son of Luigi and Speranza (Bianchi) Giacomelli.
Mr. Giacomelli owned Ben's Auto Repair and also worked for General Motors Corp., Framingham. He worked at Framingham Welding and Engineering, retiring 25 years ago.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, from James E. Kellett & Son Funeral Home, 21 West St., with a Mass at 2 p.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, East Main Street. Maureen E. Graham, 59

ROCKLEDGE, Fla. -- Maureen E. “Marney” Graham, 59, of 225 Forecast Lane, formerly of Northboro, Mass., a flight attendant, died Wednesday, April 18, in Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital after an illness.
She leaves her mother, Ann (Minder) Graham of St. Petersburg; a brother, Raymond G. Graham of Kiawah Island, S.C.; two nephews and a niece. She was born in Worcester, Mass., daughter of H. Ray Graham, and lived in Northboro, Peachtree, Ga., and five years in Florida. She graduated from Northboro High School in Northboro in 1959.
Ms. Graham was a flight attendant 39 years with Delta Air Lines, and was most recently based out of Orlando.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St., Northboro. Burial will be in Howard Street Cemetery, Northboro. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, in Leland-Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northboro.
William J. Guglielmi

MILFORD -- William J. Guglielmi, 59, of 36 Claflin St., a service technician, died Monday, April 16, in Saints Memorial Medical Center, Lowell.
He leaves a daughter, Lisa Marie Guglielmi of Norfolk; a sister, Grace DiNardi of California; two nieces, two great-nieces and a great-nephew; and his former wife, Donna (DiVittorio) Wood. A brother, David Guglielmi, predeceased him. He was born in Milford, son of Frank and Pia (DiGregorio) Guglielmi, and lived many years in Hopedale and Milford. He graduated from Hopedale High School in 1959.
Mr. Guglielmi was a service technician for Nextiar Systems since 1983. He previously was a service technician for New England Telephone. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, a past exalted ruler for Milford Lodge of Elks, and a member of Communications Workers of America Local 1109.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, April 20, from Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main St. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the funeral home.

LANCASTER -- Gloria J. (Wagner) Harris, 54, of 216 Bolton Station Road, formerly of Clinton, a secretary, was stricken ill and died Tuesday, April 17, at her home.
She leaves two sons, John and James Wagner, both of Lancaster; a daughter, Ruth Fawbert of Leominster; four brothers, Albert E. Wagner of Greendale, Wis., the Rev. Robert W. Wagner of Owings, Md., Willis E. Wagner of Lancaster and Philip M. Wagner of Clinton; five sisters, Helen O. Goggins of Marlboro, Hazel L. DeLong of Framingham, Ruth A. Wagner and Marilyn G. Tierney, both of Clinton, and Diane M. Marden of Sterling; a grandson; nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. She was born in Clinton, daughter of Willis A. and Leta M. (Hines) Wagner, and lived in Lancaster for 25 years. She graduated from Marlboro High School.
Mrs. Harris was a secretary at Compaq, Marlboro, for 20 years. She previously worked at Nypro in Clinton for 13 years. She was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Sterling, and enjoyed sports.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, in Seventh-day Adventist Church, Route 12, Sterling. Burial will be in Reservoir Pines Cemetery, Clinton. Eva B. Hester, 81; longtime political secretary

CLINTON -- Eva B. Hester, 81, of 14 Park St., a longtime political secretary, died Monday, April 16, in Walden Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Concord, after an illness.
She leaves two sisters, Margaret H. Broderick of Sterling and Mary E. Brennan of Harwich Port; several nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. She was born in Clinton, daughter of Patrick and Mary (Corrigan) Hester, and graduated from Clinton High School.
After graduating high school, she joined the office staff of Congressman Joseph E. Casey, and worked in his Washington, D.C. office. She then worked for the Democratic National Committee in Washington. In 1948, she was assigned to work on President Truman's Whistle Stop Tour. After the tour, she became secretary to Richard Patterson, then-ambassador to Guatemala. Upon returning to the United States, she worked as a secretary to the ambassador from Pakistan at the United Nations in New York.
She then returned to Clinton, and operated a gift shop for several years. She was a member of the Electoral College, and was the first Massachusetts delegate to pledge her support for Jimmy Carter in 1976.
She later returned to work at the State House in Boston, where she was secretary to the Chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee for many years. She transferred to the department of Elder Affairs, and testified before the legislature on bills affecting the elderly. She spoke to women's groups across the state. The Department of Elder Affairs secretary's award to the legislator who has been most helpful to the department was renamed the Eva B. Hester Award when she retired.
While living in Boston, she volunteered to read to the blind.
She was a member and lector at St. John the Evangelist Church, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Eire Society of Boston.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 18, from Robert J. McNally Funeral Home, 304 Church St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the funeral home.

WORCESTER -- The graveside service for Harold I. Jaffe, 92, of Worcester, who died Saturday, April 21, in the Jewish Healthcare Center after a long illness, will be held at noon Monday, April 23, in B'nai B'rith Cemetery. The memorial observance will be held through Tuesday evening, April 24, at his residence in Worcester, and Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening, April 25, at the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Kirshenbaum in Sudbury.
He leaves his wife of 57 years, Florence (Goodman) Jaffe; a son, Dr. Edward B. Jaffe of Bolton; a daughter, Elaine B. Kirshenbaum of Sudbury; and four grandchildren. Two brothers, Joseph and Samuel Jaffe, and a sister, Mollie Sherman, all of Worcester, predeceased him. He was born in Chelsea, son of Abraham and Rebecca (Schadoris) Jaffe, and lived more than 80 years in Worcester. He graduated from Classical High School and from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1929.
Mr. Jaffe owned and operated Highland Pharmacy for 47 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue and its Brothers, Worcester Lodge 600 of B'nai B'rith, and a contributing member of the Jewish Healthcare Center.

Edwin G. Johnson, 75

WORCESTER -- Edwin G. “Pinky” Johnson, 75, of Royal Road, a retired manufacturing company worker and a veteran of World War II, died Tuesday, April 17, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center, after an illness.
His wife, Rose (Prendi) Johnson, died in 1988. He leaves two stepdaughters, Rose Griswold and Sandra Boutelle, both of Southbridge; four step-grandchildren; his longtime companion, Marie (Lavallee) Porter of Uxbridge; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Edwin L. and Gertrude (Salson) Johnson, and attended Worcester Boys Trade High School. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Mr. Johnson worked 35 years for Paul Myers Manufacturing Co. before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and vegetable gardening.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, in Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St., Southbridge. Burial, with military honors, will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Southbridge. SHREWSBURY -- Kyle P. Johnson, 9, of 14 Brightside Ave., died Thursday, July 5, at home due to a brain tumor.
He leaves his parents, Glenn E.J. and Pamela J. (Munson) Johnson; a brother, Samuel S. Johnson at home; his paternal grandparents, Dolores (Petrarca) Johnson of Assonet, and Richard P. Johnson of Portsmouth, R.I.; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Carol (Shaw) Munson of Canton; his paternal great-grandparents, Margaret (Gillen) Johnson of Brockton, and Julia (DiCarlo) Petrarca of Portsmouth; and his maternal great-grandmother, Harriet (Lincoln) Munson of Mattapoisett. He was born in Lebanon, N.H., lived in Claremont, N.H., and moved to Shrewsbury in 1997.
Kyle was a third grade student at the Walter J. Patton Elementary School.
He enjoyed sports and was involved in Shrewsbury youth soccer, baseball and basketball. He also enjoyed music, and had an extensive collection of lighthouse models.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, in the First Congregational Church, 19 Church Road. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Elefterios Koletsis, 88

WORCESTER -- Elefterios Koletsis, 88, formerly of 120 Elm St., died Thursday, April 19, in Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Center.
He leaves a niece, Artemis A. Gouvelis of Worcester. He was born in Epirus, Greece, son of Alexis and Demetra (Poulias) Koletsis, and came to the United States in 1961. He graduated from high school and from law school in Romania. He served in the Romanian Army during World War II.
Mr. Koletsis was the chief cashier for Hilton Astoria hotels in New York City. He previously was a lawyer in Romania. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and the Hotel Union Association.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. HOLDEN -- Margaret A. (Snyder) Krusas, 78, of 29 Flagler Drive, formerly of Worcester, died Thursday, April 19, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus, Worcester.
Her husband, Martin J. Krusas, died in 1991. She leaves two daughters, Donna M. Bik of Blackstone and Anna M. Trimby of Holden; two brothers, Robert H. Snyder of Grafton and Charles J. Snyder of Worcester; a sister, Jeannette C. Perreault of East Brookfield; four grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. A brother, George G. Snyder of Shrewsbury, died in 1990 and a sister, Mary Ellen Letourneau of Shrewsbury, died in 1974. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Robert and Anna M. (Levesque) Snyder. She was a graduate of Commerce High School.
Mrs. Krusas had worked for the College of the Holy Cross as a library assistant and later as a secretary for the former State Mutual Assurance Co., later known as Allmerica Financial.
The funeral will be Monday, April 23, from O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 3 Wiser Ave., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the funeral home.

DUDLEY -- Edith E. (Antonson) Lazarowski, 80, of 1 Warsaw Ave., a retired machine operator, died Sunday, April 15, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, Joseph J. Lazarowski; two brothers, Andrew Antonson of Quinebaug and Donald Antonson of Wilsonville; two sisters, Dorothy Kelly and Mildred Kuszewski, both of Dudley; nieces and nephews; grandnieces and grandnephews. She was born in Providence, daughter of Anders and Irene (Guerin) Antonson, and lived in Barrington, R.I., and 45 years in Webster. She moved to Dudley in 1970. She graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster in 1938. She played the violin in the high school band.
Mrs. Lazarowski was a machine operator in the sampling department at Cranston Print Works Co. in Webster for 30 years, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church. She enjoyed gardening and traveling, and was a skilled cook.
The funeral will be Thursday, April 19, from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Paul R. Leary Sr., 58

WORCESTER -- Paul R. Leary Sr., 58, of 18 Preston St., died Saturday, April 14, at home after being stricken ill.
He leaves two sons, Paul R. Leary Jr. and Philip A. Leary, both of Worcester; a brother, Robert Leary of Port Orange, Fla.; a sister, Deborah Bolduc of Oxford; two grandchildren; his former wife, Judith (Lang) Griffin. He was born in Worcester, son of Charles and Lillian (Koski) Leary, and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and Worcester State College. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Leary was a security guard for the Eagle Detective Agency for several years.
After cremation, burial will be in Hope Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave., is directing arrangements.

WEBSTER -- Sharon A. (Waldron) LeClair, 32, of 8 Fifth St., a program manager, died Wednesday, April 18, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University Campus, Worcester, after being stricken ill at home.
She leaves her husband of 15 years, David F. LeClair Jr; a son, Nicholas J. LeClair of Webster; her parents, Barry N. and Paula A. (Savinsky) Waldron of Webster; a brother, Barry J. Waldron of Webster; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester. She graduated from Marian-Hill High School in Southbridge and attended North Adams and Worcester state colleges.
Mrs. LeClair worked 10 years at The Bridge of Central Massachusetts, most recently as a program manager. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Basilica. She enjoyed arts and crafts.
The funeral will be held Monday, April 23, from Henry Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester.
