PUTNAM -- Yvette M. (Bourque) LaBonte, 89, of 61 Dufault St., died Tuesday, April 3, in Roncalli Health Center in Danielson, Conn.
Her husband, Louis A. LaBonte, died in 1995. She leaves a son, Louis F. LaBonte of Putnam; a sister, Doris Blair of Vernon, Conn.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces; and a grandnephew and three grandnieces. She was born in Manchester, N.H., daughter of Albert and Gracia (Bouffard) Bourque, and came to Thompson as a child. She lived many years in Putnam.
Mrs. LaBonte was a homemaker. Many years ago, she was a textile worker at Belding Hemingway Corp., and later worked at Danielson Curtain Co., Danielson. She was a member of St. Mary Church of the Visitation.
The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, in St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence St. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Robert LaFontaine, 85

WORCESTER -- Robert C. LaFontaine, 85, of 39 First St., formerly of Holden, a World War II veteran, died Sunday, April 1, in the Jewish Healthcare Center.
He leaves his wife of 64 years, Isabelle M. (Tansey) LaFontaine; two daughters, Carol A. McGrain and Kathleen M. Robinson, both of Worcester; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a nephew. A brother, George P. LaFontaine of Oxford, died in 1992. He was born in Worcester, son of Philip D. and Mary (Conway) LaFontaine. He attended Commerce High School and was active with the school's basketball and football teams. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Lafontaine was a member of Paxton Post 306 American Legion.
The funeral will be Wednesday, April 4, from the O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's Cathedral, 38 High St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, at the funeral home.

BROOKFIELD -- Ronald A. Lamoureux, 74, of 10 2nd Nanatumqua Park, died Thursday, May 31, in Hubbard Regional Hospital, Webster, after a short illness.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Lucille D. (Piche) Lamoureux; three daughters, Yvette LeGrand of West Warren, Estelle Nadeau of Belchertown and Yvonne Beaulieu of Chicopee; a sister, Dorothy Swidrack of Chicopee; and seven grandchildren. He was born in Ware, son of Calixt and Lena (Guertin) Lamoureux. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Lamoureux was a machinist for Acme Chain Co., Holyoke, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1990. Later, he drove the handicapped van for McCarthy Bus. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Knights of Columbus in Ware.
The funeral will be held Saturday, June 2, from Pillsbury Funeral Home, Old West Brookfield Road, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Ware. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, in the funeral home.

SPENCER -- Roger P. Lamoureux, 77, of 21 Rustic Lane, a World War II veteran and retired postal clerk, died Thursday, April 12, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 56 years, Helen A. (Fedler) Lamoureux; four sons, Roger P. Lamoureux of Bend, Ore., David P. Lamoureux of Rutland, Jamie R. Lamoureux of Truckee, Calif., and Edward L. Lamoureux of McIntosh, Fla.; two daughters, Elaine P. Tatro and Judith L. Jamack, both of Spencer; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Spencer, son of Hector and Cora R. (Champigny) Lamoureux. He graduated from David Prouty High School and attended Clark University, Worcester. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
Mr. Lamoureux was a postal clerk 19 years in the Spencer Post Office, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion, and Union St. Jean the Baptist. He served 26 years on the Spencer Board of Assessors.
The funeral will be held Monday, April 16, from J. Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, 23 Maple Terrace, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 60 Maple St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, in the funeral home. LEOMINSTER -- Jeanne B. (Brideau) Landry, 68, of Leominster, a retired cook, died Wednesday, April 11, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, after an illness.
She leaves two daughters, Paulette Boisvert and Karen Catalano, both of Gardner; five brothers, Robert, Eugene, Roger, Vern and Gerald Landry, all of Leominster; four sisters, Lorraine LaCross, May LaVenture, AnnMarie “Dolli” Barba and Marguerite Brideau, all of Leominster; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A sister, Geraldine Perla, died in 1987. She was born in Leominster, daughter of Peter and Ella (Albert) Brideau.
Mrs. Landry worked at Foster Grant Co. and was a cook at St. Cecilia's Church, retiring in 1997. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, and was a Brownie troop leader.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 17, from Brandon-Simard Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 16, in the funeral home.

LEOMINSTER -- Martha L. (Waltz) Langelier, 54, of 33B Fox Meadow Road, died Thursday, April 5, in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 36 years, David R. Langelier; two sons, Michael D. Langelier of Clinton and Brian R. Langelier of Leominster; three brothers, Francis Waltz of Fitchburg, Robert Waltz of Ashby and Douglas Waltz of Levant, Maine; a sister, Pauline Weith of Fitchburg; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Born in Ashburnham, daughter of Arthur and Yvonne (LaBrie) Waltz, she lived most of her life in Leominster.
Mrs. Langelier worked 25 years for the former Star Container.
She enjoyed fishing at her summer cottage in New York state.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, in St. Joseph's Church, 46 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg, at a later date. There are no calling hours. Lavery-Chartrand Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, is directing arrangements.
Robert H. Lareau Sr.

SPENCER -- Robert H. Lareau Sr., 77, of 97 Meadow Road, a World War II veteran and a retired landscaper, died Wednesday, April 11, at home after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Beatrice T. (Rochette) Lareau; two daughters, Susan E. Marsh and Wendy M. Lareau, both of Spencer; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Ernest W. Lareau of Baltimore, died in 1998. A son, Robert H. Lareau Jr. of Spencer, died last year. He was born in Spencer, son of Albert H. and Lora (Secor) Lareau, and lived here most of his life. He graduated from David Prouty High School.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.
Mr. Lareau owned Bob's Old Timer's Cafe for several years and then was a self-employed landscaper before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion.
The funeral will be held Friday, April 13, from J. Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, 23 Maple Terrace, with a Liturgy of the Word at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in the funeral home. LEOMINSTER -- Robert L. Lavoie, 73, of 87 Carriage Court, formerly of 273 Clarendon St., Fitchburg, a retired buyer, died Monday, April 9, at home.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Jeannette A. (Pronovost) Lavoie; two sisters, Helen Pelland and Mae Fournier, both of Fitchburg; three daughters, Carol R. Earley and Donna M. Cotton, both of Fitchburg, and Joan M. Tazelaar of Bennington, N.H.; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Francis Lavoie, died several years ago. He was born in Fitchburg, son of Edmond J. and Melanie E. (L'Heureux) Lavoie, and moved to Leominster two years ago. He graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 1945.
Mr. Lavoie was a senior buyer for Aubuchon Hardware Stores in Westminster for 50 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish and served on its Tuesday morning maintenance group. He was a former member and president of the St. Joseph School Association, and was a volunteer reader at the parish school many years.
He was a member of the Friends of Cogshall Park and the Friends of the Fitchburg Public Library.
The funeral Mass will be held at noon Wednesday, April 11, in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. WINCHENDON -- Ernest F. LeBarge, 64, of 41 Brown St., an Army veteran and retired press operator, died Wednesday, April 4, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Patricia M. (DuPray) LeBarge; two sons, Kevin M. LeBarge of Winchendon and Christopher A. LeBarge of Gardner; two brothers, Richard A. LeBarge of Gardner and Ronald H. Schofield of Winchendon; two sisters, Viola E. Belletete of Winchendon and Anita Clapp Lescord of Rindge, N.H.; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Winchendon, son of George F. and Myrtle L. (Schofield) LeBarge. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1961, and was stationed with peacekeeping forces in Korea.
Mr. LeBarge was a press operator 37 years for New England Wooden Ware Corp., retiring in 1998.
He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion and Lt. Frederick Wilder White Post 2158, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The funeral service, with military honors, will be held Saturday, April 7, from Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce St. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. She leaves her husband of 63 years, Arthur E. Leclerc; three sons, Robert A. Leclerc of Paxton, Gerard Leclerc of New Salem, and Father Thomas L. Leclerc of Cambridge; two daughters, Anita Bourque of Stuart, Fla., and Pauline Leclerc Coram of Valrico, Fla.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Hilaire and Amanda (Vachon) Hebert, and moved to Gardner in 1989 and to Leominster last year. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1934 and the Army Institute of Administration on Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind.
Mrs. Leclerc was a bookkeeper eight years for the former Independent Lock Co. She then worked 16 years at Fort Devens, including 10 years as a program and budget officer at the former Cutler Army Hospital. She retired in 1982.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg and its Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, and was chairman of the Discussion Clubs. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, the Leominster Daughters of Isabella Circle 256, the Grey Nun Associates, and the Fitchburg Booster Club. She was a former member of the American Friendship Club.
