WORCESTER -- Carol A. (Kerr) McGrath, 63, of 2 Humes Ave., died Saturday, Nov. 25, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus after an illness.
She leaves a son, Kevin J. McGrath of Boylston; a daughter, Karen Mongeon of Worcester; a sister, Mary Penzo of Newton; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Daniel, Phillip, William, and Robert Kerr, all predeceased her. She was born in Newton, daughter of Daniel J. and Winifred (Glendon) Kerr, and graduated from Newton High School. She lived 40 years in Worcester.
Mrs. McGrath was a controller more than 20 years for Come Play Products. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, 270 Elliot St., Newton Upper Falls. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St.

WARREN -- June C. McKeon, 64, of Old West Warren Road, West Warren, died Sunday, Feb. 4, in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.
She leaves two sons, Harold McKeon Jr. and Joseph McKeon, both of West Warren. She was born in Ware, daughter of Joseph and Aldea (Niemiec) Borowiec. She graduated from Warren High School in 1954.
Mrs. McKeon worked at William E. Wright Co. in West Warren for 45 years.
The funeral service will be held at a later date in the Doherty Funeral Home, 40 Bacon St. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Warren Ambulance Fund, Main Street, Warren, MA 01083.

He was a member of the Leominster Eagles.

J. Raymond Meade, 84

HOPEDALE -- J. Raymond Meade, 84, of Hopedale Street, died Saturday, Feb. 3, in Upton Nursing Center, Upton.
His wife, Blanche L. (Lussier) Meade, died in 1992. He leaves three sons, Raymond W. Meade of Framingham, and David E. and Thomas A. Meade, both of Hopedale; a daughter, Maryanne Bardsley of Waltham; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A grandson died in 1999; and a sister, Ruth Paradiso of Mendon, also predeceased him. He was born in Hopedale, son of Walter R. and Eva (Robinson) Meade, and attended Hopedale schools. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.
Mr. Meade was a machinist at the former Draper Corp. for 44 years, retiring in 1978. He then was a part-time security guard 13 years for the Hopedale Realty & Trust Co. He also, for many years, delivered the Sunday and daily newspapers. He was a member of Post 267 American Legion; and was a member and deacon of Union Evangelical Church, and belonged to its former Men's Brotherhood. Mr. Meade was a former volunteer firefighter, and was active with Hopedale Little League.
The funeral service, with military honors, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Union Evangelical Church, 25 Dutcher St. Burial will be in Hopedale Village Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford. Roxy I. Mikaelian, 80

EL PASO, Texas -- Roxy I. (Bedrossian) Mikaelian, 80, of 4637 Ambassador Drive, formerly of Worcester, Mass., and Providence, R.I., a World War II veteran and a retired finance and accounting department worker, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Monte Vista Nursing Home after an illness.
Her husband, Soren Mikaelian, died in 1997. She leaves three sons, Soren Mikaelian of Flower Mound, Peter and Christopher Mikaelian, both of El Paso; a daughter, Susan Emerson of Texas; two brothers, Harry Bedrossian of Cranston, R.I., and Ralph Bedrossian of Warwick, R.I.; three sisters, Ann Adoian and Margaret Vigneau, both of Warwick, and Elizabeth Byrd of Mississippi; three grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A daughter, Karen Mikaelian, died in 1954. A sister, Agnes Melikian, and a brother, Shavarsh Bedrossian, also predeceased her. She was born in Providence, daughter of Mikeal and Rose (Holgation) Bedrossian. She was educated in Providence and attended Bryant Stratton Business School, Rhode Island. She was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps, later the Woman's Army Corps. She was stationed at Hamilton Field and attained the rank of sergeant.
After retiring from the Army Corps, Mrs. Mikaelian worked in the finance and accounting department of Fort Bliss, retiring in 1988.
The funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 29, from O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in the funeral home. AUBURN -- Maybelle (Nessman) Milsop, 93, of Auburn, formerly of Union, N.J., a retired claims processor, died Monday, Jan. 29, in Life Care Center of Auburn.
Her husband, James Milsop, predeceased her. She leaves a son, Robert M. Milsop of Shrewsbury. She was born in Newark, N.J., daughter of Frederick and Susan Nessman, and lived many years in Union before moving to Auburn in 1996.
Mrs. Milsop was a claims processor at Chubb Insurance Co. in Short Hills, N.J., retiring in 1972. She enjoyed writing poetry and reading.
The funeral service will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 2, in Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, Kennilworth, N.J. Sister Mitchell, 85

WORCESTER -- Sister Margaret St. Anthony Mitchell, 85, with the Sisters of Notre Dame, died Thursday, Jan. 25, in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center.
She leaves a sister, Beatrice Pink of Bourne; and a nephew, Leo Pink of Kingston. She was born in the Roslindale section of Boston, daughter of Anthony F. and Margaret (Quilty) Mitchell, and lived in Worcester since 1973.
Sister Margaret entered the Sisters of Notre Dame from St. Andrew's Church, Jamaica Plain, in 1934. She taught at several Notre Dame schools, including Ascension School from 1944 to 1947 and Julie Country Day School, Leominster, from 1960 to 1965. She also taught at St. John's School from 1956 to 1960.
The funeral Mass will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in Notre Dame du Lac Chapel, 555 Plantation St. Burial will be in Notre Dame du Lac Cemetery. Calling hours are 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in the chapel. Butch Moore, 63

SUTTON -- Butch Moore, 63, of 267 Manchaug Road, formerly of Dublin, Ireland, a showband pop singer in Ireland and an Irish entertainer in this country, died Tuesday, April 3, at home after an short illness.
He leaves his wife, Maeve F. (Mulvany) Moore; three sons, Gary Moore of Scotland, Rory M. and Thomas M. Moore, both of Sutton; three daughters, Karen Markham of Scotland, Gramnne Geller of Dumont, N.J., and Tara M. Moore of Dublin; three brothers, Thomas and Desmond Moore, both of Ireland, and Brendan Moore of England; a sister, Marie Curran of Ireland; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Dublin, son of Thomas and Nora (Faye) Moore, and came to this country in 1970.
Mr. Moore and his wife performed together as entertainers of Irish and American pop music, under the name of Butch and Maeve. They performed throughout the country, including at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Carnegie Hall in New York City, Mechanics Hall in Worcester, and in Springfield. He and his wife owned and operated Parting Glass Pub, Millbury, for five years. He then worked for the Worcester County Sheriffs Department in Worcester.
Mr. Moore began his music career as a guitarist and singer at age 16, playing parish hall shows and singing at small clubs with rock, pop and jazz groups. In 1965, he won Ireland's first National Song contest. He was Ireland's first entry in the Eurovision song contest, and was a showband legend in Ireland. He performed in many places across Europe. His most recent compact disc is “Through the Years.”
He was a member of St. Mark's Church and a former member of the Millbury Lions Club.
The funeral will be held Friday, April 6, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Road. Burial will be in Ireland. OXFORD -- Marvin L. “Lee” Morris, 77, formerly of Oxford, a retired manager for an airline and a World War II veteran, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Barbara (Begley) Morris of Millbury; a daughter, Linda Morris of Callahan, Fla.; three stepsons, Thomas V. Heath of Shrewsbury, James A. Heath of Auburn and William B. Heath of Oxford; a stepdaughter, Pamela J. Tedesco of Holden; two brothers, C.W. Morris of Callahan and Raymond Morris of Charleston, N.C.; three sisters, Joanne Tomberlin of Columbia, S.C., Dorothy Wilchar of Jacksonville, Fla., and Bea Pase in North Carolina; and a granddaughter. He was born in Charleston, S.C., son of Herman and Edith (Mabel) Morris, and lived many years in Miami before moving to Oxford in 1987. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
Mr. Morris worked at Miami International Airport as manager of in-flight food and beverage services for British Airways, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed auto racing, fishing, baseball and woodworking.
The graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St., Worcester. There are no calling hours. EAST BROOKFIELD -- Eldora M. (Barrows) Moynagh, 81, formerly of 290 Main St., a former shoe company seamstress, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Life Care Center of Auburn.
Her husband, Philip E. Moynagh, died in 1999. She leaves a son, Eugene Mongeon of East Brookfield; five daughters, Britta Worster of Wallingford, Conn., Joy Gradowski of Chicopee, Gay Barrett and Terry Ward, both of Spencer, and Patricia Barnes of Bushnell, Fla.; two brothers, William Barrows of Auburn and Ronald Barrows of Worcester; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A son, Arthur Mongeon of Wallingford, Conn., died in 1998. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Earl and Britta (Banks) Barrows.
Mrs. Moynagh was a seamstress at Grand Shoe Co., Worcester. She was a member of Lashaway Pitch League and was an active bowler.
The memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., North Brookfield. Burial will be at the family's convenience in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
Richard F. Moynihan, 72

LEOMINSTER -- Richard F. Moynihan, 72, of Leominster, a former state mental health administrator, died Sunday, Jan. 28, at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, Giovanna A. (Mazzola) Moynihan; a son, John F. Moynihan of Burlington; a daughter, Mary J. Moynihan of Worcester; a sister, Doris Sena of Shrewsbury; a brother, William Moynihan of Dennis; many nieces and nephews. A sister, Margaret Morrison of Andover, and a brother, Robert Moynihan of Shrewsbury, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of William T. and Margaret (Duggan) Moynihan, and lived in Shrewsbury before moving to Leominster 43 years ago. He graduated from Worcester Academy and Becker College, both in Worcester. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany.
Mr. Moynihan was director of special operations for the state Department of Mental Health, retiring in 1989. He previously held director or superintendent positions with the Walter E. Fernald State School's Templeton Developmental Center, the Wrentham State School, and Gardner State Hospital. He was a former chief operating officer at Worcester State Hospital. He began his career as a business manager with the Department of Mental Health at Metropolitan State Hospital in Waltham. After retiring, he was a part-time consultant for the construction industry.
He was a member of the city board of health and zoning board of appeals. He coached Little League, and was active with community youth basketball. He was a member of St. Anna's Parish.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, from Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anna's Church, 194 Lancaster St. Burial will be in St. Leo's Cemetery. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the funeral home. WORCESTER -- Theresa F. (Bilske) Murphy, 95, of 559 Plantation St., formerly of 15 Palisades St., a retired business owner, died Saturday, Feb. 3, in Notre Dame Long Term Care Center.
Her husband, Edward F. Murphy, died in 1948. She leaves a son, Edward W. Murphy of Worcester; a daughter, Eleanor F. Leland, of Pembroke; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew. A son, David L. Murphy, died in 1963. A daughter, Carole A. Kelly, died in 1998. A grandson, Michael F. Murphy, died in 1991. Born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Frances (Rosen) Bilske, she lived there all her life.
Mrs. Murphy was for many years the owner of the Cosmopolitan Club, Hamilton Street, Worcester, before retiring in 1975.
The funeral will be held at 11:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, from Kelly Funeral Home, 154 Lincoln St. with a Mass at noon in St. Margaret Mary Church, 75 Alvarado Ave. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A calling hour is 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home.
George E. Murphy, 85

STERLING -- George E. Murphy, 85, of Sterling, a former printing company owner and innkeeper, died Sunday, June 3, in Marlboro Hospital after a long illness.
He leaves his son, Dennis Murphy of Maynard; a daughter, Janice Troisi of Sterling; a brother, Albert R. Murphy Jr. of Maynard; a sister, Patricia Sewall of Colorado; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Two sons, Bryan and Kevyn Murphy, and a brother, Raymond Murphy and a sister, Eleanor Pileeki, predeceased him. He was born and raised in Maynard, son of Albert R. and Alice A. (Murphy) Murphy, and graduated from Maynard High School in 1933. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in Great Britain.
Along with his brother, he owned and operated Murphy & Snyder Printing Inc. in Maynard. He moved to Marlboro in 1970, and in 1989, he and his wife became innkeepers of the Chocksett Inn in Sterling.
The funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 7, in St. Bridget Church, corner of Percival and Sudbury streets, Maynard. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Maynard. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, in Martin & Doran Funeral Home, 12 Lincoln St., Maynard.
