HOLDEN -- Mary D. (Orciuch) LaRoche, 86, of 350 Holden St., died Monday, Jan. 22, at home, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Russell J. LaRoche; four sons, R. Philip LaRoche of Rutland, John J. and James W. LaRoche, both of Jefferson, and Paul J. LaRoche of New Braintree; a daughter, Mary U. Capparelli of Sterling; a brother, Raymond Orciuch of Worcester; three sisters, Theodosia Salvatore of Leominster, Frances Misilo of Worcester and Germaine Kempinski of Webster; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother and a sister, Edward and Statia B. Orciuch, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Jan and Ursula (Oscilowicz) Orciuch. She graduated from Commerce High School, Worcester.
Mrs. LaRoche co-founded Bay State Spring Corp., Jefferson, in 1962. She retired from the business in 1992. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church, Worcester, and its Women's Guild. She volunteered at Rutland Heights Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 26, from Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery. Martha G. Ledoux, 71

WORCESTER -- Martha G. (Giroux) Ledoux, 71, of 15 Everton Ave., died Monday, Jan. 29, in the Christopher House after an illness.
Her husband of 48 years, Arthur J. Ledoux, died Feb. 26. She leaves two sons, Gregory A. Ledoux of Fallston, Md., and Francis R. Ledoux of the Marstons Mills section of Barnstable; a daughter, Denyse L. Turpin of Northboro; a brother, George Giroux of Delray Beach, Fla.; a sister, Madeleine Ferrandino of West Boylston; eight grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Three brothers, Leo, Alfred and Robert Giroux, and three sisters, Theresa Satterly, Delta Ferraro and Veronica Carrier, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert and Yvonne (Duchesneau) Giroux, and lived most of her life in Worcester. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy, Montreal.
Mrs. Ledoux was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
The funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 2, from Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Colman's, Watervliet, NY 12189.
Thaddeus E. LeFort, 67

POMFRET -- Thaddeus E. LeFort, 67, of Killingly Road, Pomfret Center, died Saturday, Feb. 3, in Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.
He leaves his wife of 29 years, Carol (Bennett) LeFort; a son, Kyle LeFort of Enfield; a daughter, Noreen Leighton of Vernon; a stepdaughter, Ann M. Sastre of Danielson; three stepsons, Leonard Mele of Danielson, John Mele of Pomfret Center, and David Mele of Fort Myers, Fla.; a brother, Elwood LeFort of Pomfret Center; 15 grandchildren. He was born in Brookfield, son of Thaddeus and Edith (Wisneswski) LeFort, and graduated from Putnam High School. He graduated from the Wilbraham Academy in Munson, Mass., in 1953, and later graduated from Bryant College. He graduated from the Computer Processing Institute in East Hartford, Conn., in 1971. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. LeFort was a data processor 25 years for the Providence-Washington Insurance Group in Providence, R.I., retiring in April. He previously worked at the Fuller Brush Co. and Pratt & Whitney.
He was a member of American Legion Post 13 in Putnam. He enjoyed genealogy research, and was a member of several genealogical societies. He enjoyed fishing.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, in Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove St., Putnam. Burial, with military honors, will be in in the spring in Abington Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the funeral home. LEOMINSTER -- Cecile B. (Champagne) Leger, 79, formerly of Leominster, a retired machine operator, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Apple Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ayer, after an illness.
Her husband of 39 years, Daniel J. Leger, died in 1984. She leaves two sisters, Doris R. Gionet of Leominster and Lorraine Sanders of Wallingford, Conn.; nephews and nieces. She was born in Leominster, daughter of Joseph and Marie (Tourigny) Champagne.
Mrs. Leger was a machine operator at Foster Grant Co., retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, from Curley-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 89 West St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in the funeral home.

LEICESTER -- Donald K. Leith, 49, of 55 Redfield Road, a postal clerk, died Thursday, Feb. 1, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife, Patricia S. (Saunders) Leith; two sons, Donald V. and Shawn C. Leith, both of Cherry Valley; two daughters, Tanya DeMauro of Worcester and Ashley Leith of Cherry Valley; three stepsons, Benjamin and Arron Bogen and John Petracone, all of Cherry Valley; four brothers, Peter and John Leith, both of Portland, Maine, Tom Leith and Charles Yessian, both of Newington, Conn.; three sisters, Martha Parady of Fort Fairfield, Maine, Louella Corriveau of New Britain, Conn., and Judy Perley of Worcester; a granddaughter; nephews and nieces. His first wife, Patricia A. (Carr) Leith, died in 1988. He was born in Fort Fairfield, son of Donald V. and Sarah (Giggey) Leith, and lived many years in Cherry Valley. He graduated from Fort Fairfield High School and Salter School of Business. He served with the Army.
Mr. Leith was a postal clerk 17 years for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Covenant Evangelicus Church, the American Postal Union, and Postal Golf Leagues.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, from O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in the funeral home.

LINCOLN, Maine -- Richard P. Lemieux Sr., 63, of Lincoln, formerly of the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, Mass., died Wednesday, Jan. 31, in Lincoln.
He leaves his wife, Doris (Landry) Rodgers Lemieux; three sons, Richard Rodgers of Worcester, Mass., Patrick Rodgers of Leicester, and Richard Lemieux Jr. of Millbury, Mass.; four daughters, Susan Dennett and Debra Edmonds, both of Worcester, Brenda Lee Lemieux of Oxford, Mass. and Beatrice Safford of Olympia, Wash.; a sister, Joanne Lindsey of Leicester; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A sister, Blanche Rochette, predeceased him. He was born in the Jefferson section of Holden, Mass., son of Napoleon and Beatrice (Morse) Lemieux, and lived many years in Cherry Valley before moving to Lincoln about 10 years ago. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Lemieux was a blacksmith, mechanic and truck driver. He enjoyed hunting.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, in St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Main Street. Spring burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, Mass. Bernadette M. Lenehan, 100; formerly of Wall St.

WEBSTER -- Bernadette M. (Chauvin) Lenehan, 100, formerly of 3.5 Wall St., died Monday, Jan. 29, in the St. Francis Home, Worcester.
Her husband, John J. Lenehan, died in 1968. She leaves a son, Stuart J. Lenehan of Webster; a sister, Sister Clarise Chauvin, also known as Sister Mary John of Carmel, of Paxton; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Two sons, Leland and Thomas Lenehan, predeceased her. She was born in Webster, daughter of John and Emma (Carmel) Chauvin.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church.
After cremation, a Mass and graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. WORCESTER -- Joan R.V. (Pulaski) Lewandowski, 61, of Worcester, an admitting clerk, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
She leaves a brother, Stephen J. Pulaski of Alexandria, Va.; a nephew, Stephen J. Pulaski III of Alexandria; a niece, Lisa V. Pulaski of Alexandria. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Stephen and Josephine (Los) Pulaski, and graduated from Classical High School and Clark University in Worcester and Anna Maria College in Paxton.
Mrs. Lewandowski was a night admitting clerk 15 years in the emergency room of St. Vincent Hospital. She was previously a laboratory technician at the Shrewsbury Foundation for Experimental Biology.
The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave.
John A. Lind, 68

CARROLLTON, Texas -- Dr. John A. Lind, 68, of Carrollton, formerly of Auburn, Mass., died Saturday, Jan. 27, in Heritage Gardens, after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
He leaves a daughter, Kathryn A. Andrews of Coppell, Texas; two sisters, Edith L. Knowlton of Kinston, N.C., and Diane C. Ela of Auburn; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of John F. and Madeleine C. (Smith) Lind. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1950, Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, in 1954, George Washington University School of Medicine in 1958, and Milwaukee County Hospital in 1962. He did his internship at Ohio Valley General Hospital in Wheeling, W.Va.
Dr. Lind worked at Ireland Army Hospital at Fort Knox, Kent. He was a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Auburn, and enjoyed flying his private plane. He played golf, and was a former standout athlete in pole vaulting and track. He served in the Army reserves and the National Guard.
The graveside service will be held at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 733 Third Ave., New York, NY 10017.

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Thomas E. Lovell, 67, of 3283 Lakeview Drive, formerly of Worcester, Mass., a retired engineer, died Saturday, Feb. 3, at home.
He leaves his wife of 21 years, Carol (Crites) Lovell; two sons, Thomas Lovell of Pendleton, Ore., and Todd Lovell of Issaquah, Wash.; a daughter, Terri Council of Newberg, Ore.; two stepsons, Rick and Steve, Spigelmire, both of Wooster; two stepdaughters, Vickie Frazier of Northfield and Cheryl Underwood of West Salem; two brothers, Kenneth Lovell of Lancaster, Calif., and Steve Lovell of West Port, Mass.; and eight grandchildren. A brother, Richard Lovell, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Raymond and Mildred (Lewis) Lovell, and graduated from North High School, Worcester, in 1951. He was a staff sergeant in the Marine Corps.
Mr. Lovell was senior applications engineer 28 years for Ingersoll-Rand, retiring in April. He enjoyed carpentry and fishing.
The funeral service was held in Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, 7067 Cleveland Road. Burial, with military rites, was in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Wayne Co. Humane Society, PO Box 266, Wooster, OH 44691.
