LANCASTER -- Carrie J. Fahey, 23, of 708 Main St., a salesclerk, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Clinton Hospital.
She leaves her mother, Elaine (Joyce) Fahey of Lancaster; her stepfather, John Welch of Lancaster; two sisters, Jessie J. and Sarah R. Fahey, both of Lancaster; her maternal grandparents, Raymond L. and Eileen (Griswold) Joyce of Lancaster; and a nephew. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Desmond Fahey, and was raised in Lancaster. She graduated from Nashoba Regional High School, Bolton, in 1995.
Miss Fahey was a salesclerk at Xtra Mart convenience store, Clinton. She was a life member of Girl Scouts of America and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 523, Clinton. She enjoyed music and writing poetry.
The funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 29, from James E. Watson Funeral Home, 149 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will be at the family's convenience in Eastwood Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in the funeral home.
Alan M. Falk, 64

ATTLEBORO -- Alan M. Falk, 64, of Payson Street, previously of Northboro and Leicester, a former manager and a former banking executive and consultant, died Friday, Feb. 2, in Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Patricia V. (Barry) Falk; a daughter, Dianne T. Grzyb of South Attleboro; a son, Andrew J. Falk of South Attleboro; two sisters, Barbara O'Brien of Maynard and Dorothy Patterson of Norwalk, Conn.; a brother, George C. Falk of Leicester; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Ralph and John Falk, predeceased him. He was born in Leicester, son of John A. and Anna T. (Blue) Falk, and lived three years in Northboro and 20 years in Attleboro. He graduated from Leicester High School in 1954, and received an associate's degree from Berkshire Community College. He attended the University of Hartford and IBM's Ward Schools.
Mr. Falk was manager of Airport Golf in Plainville for four years, and for two years was operations manager for Cardinal Marketing of South Attleboro. He was previously a self-employed consultant to newly chartered banks throughout the state, and was a former bank senior vice president. He was a member of Rotary International, and was a former member of the Highland Country Club. He was an avid golfer.
The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the Commonwealth Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., Attleboro Falls. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the funeral home.
John Flanagan, 41

WORCESTER -- John Flanagan, 41, of 1059 Main St., a brick mason, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University Campus after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Donna (O'Neil) Flanagan; two daughters, Tiffany J. Flanagan of Worcester and Keri Ann Flanagan of Walpole; his father and stepmother, William and Joan Flanagan of Walpole; two brothers, James and Edward Flanagan, both of Norwood; two sisters, Carol Dockery and Susan Gill, both of Norwood; nephews and nieces. A brother, William Flanagan Jr. of Walpole, predeceased him. He was born in Norwood, son of Gertrude Flanagan, and attended Worcester schools.
Mr. Flanagan was a brick mason for Saunders Masonry Co., Spencer. He was a football and hockey enthusiast.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in Jeremiah's Inn, 1059 Main St. Burial will be at a later date. There are no calling hours. WORCESTER -- Robert A. Folino, 72, of Worcester, a retired accountant, died Sunday, Feb. 4, at home after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 38 years, Joyce M. (Sullivan) Folino; three sons, Christopher R. Folino of North Grafton, James F. Folino of Danbury, Conn., and Dante P. Folino of Worcester; a brother, Domenic Folino Jr. of Placentia, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Pangallo of Watertown, N.Y., and Josephine Zuccarini of Detroit; a grandson; nephews and nieces. A brother, Frank Folino, predeceased him. He was born in Detroit, son of Domenic and Mary (Liana) Folino, and was raised in Watertown, N.Y. He graduated from Syracuse University.
Mr. Folino was an accountant 33 years with the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1997. He was a former member of St. Louis Parish, Webster.
After cremation in Rural Crematory, the memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. There are no calling hours.

MARLBORO -- Marion O. (Roberts) Forance, 76, of 84 Washington St., a former restaurant worker, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, in Westridge Health Care Center after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Robert E. Forance; nine daughters, Marianne Eldredge of Hyannis, Nancy and Kathleen Clark, Frances Forance, Jane Symes, Pamela Jaworek, and Annemarie Sebeika, all of Marlboro, Jacqueline Jensen of Oxford, and Constance Peters of Shrewsbury; a son, Michael Forance of Sterling; two sisters, Eileen Gregory of Marlboro and Barbara O'Clair of Acton; 27 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Robert and Thomas Forance, predeceased her. She was born in Marlboro, daughter of Francis and Olivina (Donahue) Roberts, and attended Marlboro schools.
Mrs. Forance was a waitress and hostess at the Wayside Inn, Sudbury, and the Holiday Inn. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind. She was an active member of the Women's Auxiliary of Fraternal Order of Eagles. She enjoyed reading and traveling.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, from John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in the funeral home. WEBSTER -- Mary (Agnita) Forand, 88, formerly of 243 Killdeer Road, died Saturday, Feb. 3, in Oakwood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
She leaves three nephews, Edmund J. Love of Glastonbury, Conn., Edmund Forand of Longwood, Fla., and Michael Forand of Bolton, Conn.; two nieces, Kathleen Badger of Saxon River, Vt. and Jean Ellen Meisberger of Mobile, Ala. Four brothers, J. Edmund, William, Francis H., and Thomas Forand, and three sisters, Cecile Love, Margaret and Catherine Forand, all predeceased her. She was born in Webster, daughter of Edmund and Kate (Towler) Forand, and lived in Hartford before returning to Webster 33 years ago. She attended St. Louis High School.
Mrs. Forand was a service advisor for the Southern New England Telephone Co. in Hartford for many years, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of St. Louis Church and its League of Catholic Women. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, from Scanlon Funeral Home, East Main Street, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake St. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Dudley. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in the funeral home. WORCESTER -- Eric J. Fors, 37, of 9 Roath St., a furniture company worker, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, at home after being stricken ill.
He leaves his mother, Ann M. (Croteau) Fors-Roach of Worcester; three brothers, Peter V. Simpson of Paxton, David P. Simpson of Worcester and Donald Jhylmar Fors of Holden; five sisters, Deborah A. Sjostedt and Doreen M. Fors, both of Worcester, Donna J. LeBlanc of West Boylston, Inger M. Bonafilia of Northbridge and Wendy M. Fors of Holden; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Donald E. Fors, and lived most of his life in Holden before returning to Worcester. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, Holden.
Mr. Fors worked for Palson's Office Furniture Co.
A private graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., is directing arrangements.

GARDNER -- Lewis M. Foster Jr., 66, of 116 Church St., formerly of 167 Pleasant St., a former kitchen worker, died Saturday, Jan. 27, in Heywood Hospital after an illness.
He leaves an aunt, Gladys Howe of Laconia, N.H.; and a cousin, Curtis Bean of Marshfield Hills. He was born in Lynn, son of Lewis M. Foster Sr. and June (Burnett) Foster.
Mr. Foster was a kitchen worker, most recently for Sully's Restaurant. He previously worked at S. Bent Bros. Co. and Welcome In Pie & Ice Cream Shop, Leominster. He was a member of Gardner Association for Retarded Children, and attended the Elder Service Program at Rollstone Center, Fitchburg. He enjoyed traveling and wrestling, and was a weekly call-in guest of the David Clark Program on WEIM Radio.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. RANDOLPH -- Charlotte (Nadler) Freedman, 81, of Randolph, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, in Beth Israel/Deaconess Medical Center, Boston.
Her husband, Morris Freedman, predeceased her. She leaves two sons, including Stephen Freedman of Dresher, Pa., formerly of Worcester; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A brother and a sister predeceased her. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Freedman taught English at Boston Latin School, Boston. She was secretary of Trilling House Senior Association and Congregation Beth Trilling.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, in Levine-Briss Funeral Home, routes 139 and 24. Memorial week will be held through Sunday evening, Feb. 4, at the Trilling House, 640 North Main St., and through Wednesday evening, Feb. 7, in Dresher. SOUTHBRIDGE -- Milton G. Freeman, 78, of Woodycrest Ave., a retired employee of American Optical, died Friday, Jan. 26, in his home after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife of 44 years, Edna (Wynne) Simpson-Freeman; a son, Brian Simpson of Waterford, Conn.; two daughters, Judith F. Clark of Newport, N.H., and Sharon Napierata of Thompson, Conn.; a sister, Phyllis Livernois of Woodstock, Conn.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Lawrence J. Freeman, predeceased him. He was born in Southbridge, son of Ralph and Edith (Halvorsen) Freeman. He graduated from Mary E. Wells High School in 1940. He was an Army veteran of World War II and assisted with the planning of the D-Day invasion.
Mr. Freeman worked for American Optical for 40 years before retiring. He was an AO historian and planned the American Optical Reunion Group. After he retired, he worked for Brooks Drugs for 10 years. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church and the Quinnebaug Lodge of Masons.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in Central Baptist Church, 256 Main St. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Support Network, PO Box 839, Southbridge, MA 01550.

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- Edith (Salitsky) Freilich of 6037 Pointe Regal Circle, formerly of Worcester, Mass., died Monday, Jan. 29, in Delray Medical Center.
She leaves her husband of 65 years, Joseph Freilich; two sons, Arnold L. and Stuart W. Freilich, both of Worcester; a daughter, Phyllis F. Levey of Worcester; a sister, Minnie Sulkes of Worcester; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Julius and Fanny (Weiner) Salitsky, and lived most of her life in Worcester before moving to Florida 11 years ago. She maintained a summer residence at 5 Suburban Road, Worcester.
Mrs. Freilich was a member of Beth Israel Synagogue, Worcester, and a life member of its Sisterhood. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester Chapter Hadassah, and Worcester Section of ORT (Overseas Rehabilitation Training), all in Worcester. She was a longtime volunteer at Worcester Jewish Healthcare Center.
The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in B'nai B'rith Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial observance will be held through Sunday evening, Feb. 4, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Levey, 4 Lynnwood Lane, Worcester. THOMPSON -- Lorraine R. (Courtemanche) Gagne, 68, of 471 West Thompson Road, a retired nurse, died Saturday, Jan. 27, in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam.
She leaves her husband of more than 50 years, Clarence A. Gagne; two sons, Clarence “Larry” Gagne of Pomfret and James “Chad” Gagne of Quaddick; a daughter, Penny Francisco of Thompson; three brothers, Raymond and Donald Courtemanche, both of Killingly, and Arthur Courtemanche of Sedwick, Maine; and six grandchildren. Born in Danielson, daughter of Albert and Rose (Cote) Courtemanche, she graduated in 1959 from the Windham School of Nursing.
Mrs. Gagne worked more than 20 years as a nurse at Day Kimball Hospital, in the nursery and elsewhere, retiring several years ago.
She enjoyed sewing, dancing, swimming and camping at Hopeville Pond State Park.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, from Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, West Thompson. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home. David E. Gallagher, 78

YARMOUTH -- David E. Gallagher, 78, of 67 Colburne Path, West Yarmouth, formerly of Clinton, a retired tax auditor, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Pavilion Rehabilitation Center, Hyannis, after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of 45 years, Rita (Grady) Gallagher; a son, David G. Gallagher of West Yarmouth; a sister, Frances T. Gallagher of Clinton; a granddaughter; several nephews and nieces. A brother, John D. Gallagher, died in 1997. Born in Clinton, son of David and Teresa (McDonald) Gallagher, he graduated from Clinton High School in 1940 and attended the former Becker Business School in Worcester. He lived in Salem, N.H., until moving to West Yarmouth in 1973.
Mr. Gallagher was a tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service, working out of their offices in Boston, Lawrence and Hyannis until retiring in 1986.
He was a member of St. Pius X Church, South Yarmouth.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. There are no calling hours.
