CONCORD -- David A. Brothers, 50, of 20 Maitland St., formerly of Clinton, a retired employee of Global Plastics, died Friday, Aug. 11, in Concord Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Darlene (Caron) Brothers; a daughter, Mary M. Brothers, of Plymouth, N.H.; two sons, David P. Brothers of Raines, S.C.; and William H. Brothers of Florence, S.C.; his mother, Alice E. (Saunders) Brothers Knight of Clinton; four brothers, John Brothers of Warwick, R.I., Robert and Paul Brothers of Clinton, Michael J. Knight of Gardner; a sister, Margaret Parsons of Port Charlotte, Fla.; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Marlboro, son of Harold Brothers, and lived in Clinton and Milford, before moving to Concord, N.H., 15 years ago. He attended Hudson public schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1967.
Mr. Brothers worked at the former Colonial Press in Clinton for 10 years. then at Monroe Wire and Cable in Lancaster for five years and at Global Plastics of Leominster for five years, before retiring because of illness.
He enjoyed working on cars.
The funeral will be Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 1 p.m. in the Robert J. McNally Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Beatrice Cadarette, 84

GRAFTON -- Beatrice J. Cadarette, 84, of South Grafton, a retired packager and shipper, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, in the Worcester Medical Center.
Her husband, Donald J. Cadarette, died in 1981. She leaves a sister, Lillian Fugal of Clifton Park, N.J.; several nieces and nephews. She was born in Blackstone, daughter of Ernest and Mary (Giguere) Lemay, and lived in South Grafton for most of her life.
Mrs. Cadarette was a packager and shipper for the Dennison Manufacturing Co. in Maynard for 10 years before retiring.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Parish and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1497 Ladies Auxiliary, both in South Grafton. She was a member and past president of Delisle-Goulet Post 27 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion. She was a member of the Grafton Senior Citizens. She enjoyed gardening.
The funeral will be Thursday, Aug. 10, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton. Burial will be in St. Philip's Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, in the funeral home.

NORTHBRIDGE -- Aletha M. (MacLeod) Campbell, 90, formerly of Douglas Road, died Saturday, Jan. 27, in St. Camillus Health Center, Whitinsville.
Her husband, Ralph Campbell, died in 1979. She leaves a son, A. Blair Campbell of Mendon; a daughter, Joan M. Newhall of Uxbridge; two sisters, A. Gladys MacLeod of Whitinsville and Glenda B. Pridham of Wheeling, W.Va.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was born in Spring Hill, Prince Edward Island, Canada, daughter of Murdock and Mary Jane (Currie) MacLeod, and moved to Whitinsville in 1960.
Mrs. Campbell was a longtime member of North Uxbridge Baptist Church and its Women's Fellowship.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in North Uxbridge Baptist Church, 5 Hartford Ave. East, North Uxbridge. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Methodist Church Cemetery, Prince Edward Island. WORCESTER -- Ann C. (Trigiano) Campbell, 72, of 324 Millbury St., a retired employment aid, died Friday, Aug. 11, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University Campus after an illness.
She leaves two sons, William J. Campbell of Worcester and David Campbell of Florida; two brothers, Michael Trigiano of Worcester and George Trigiano of Sun City, Ariz.; a sister, Raffalina Blaisdell of Bangor, Maine; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A son, John F. Campbell Sr. of Worcester, died in June. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Giovanni and Giovannina (Lagonelli) Trigiano.
Mrs. Campbell was an employment aid for Massachusetts State Employment Service for 10 years, retiring in 1974.
She was active in civic affairs, especially the Model Cities Program, the Piedmont Opportunity Center, the Summers World program, and the Worcester Corporation Council Inc., and was a neighborhood activist in siting and building Chandler Street School.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 16, from Callahan Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. MILLBURY -- Claire T. (King) Carlson, 73, of 106 Wheelock Ave., died Friday, Aug. 4, in Wachusett Extended Care Facility, Holden, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 52 years, Herbert O. Carlson; a son, Paul R. Carlson of Frankfurt, Germany; two daughters, Barbara C. West of Oxford and Jean S. O'Dowd of Worcester; and five grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert D. and Catherine G. (O'Connor) King, and lived 49 years in Millbury. She graduated from South High School in 1946 and from Salter's Secretarial School, both in Worcester, in 1947.
Mrs. Carlson was a housekeeper at the Sheraton-Tara in Framingham for 10 years. Previously, she was an executive housekeeper for Howard Johnson Motor Lodge, Worcester, for five years.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Worcester, and the Millbury Walking Club. She also worked at the voting polls in Millbury, and volunteered at Granger Nursing Home in Northboro.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1 Kendall Square, Building 200, Cambridge, MA 02139-1562. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., is directing arrangements.
Richard S. Carlson, 70

WESTMINSTER -- Richard S. Carlson, 70, of Westminster, a retired electrician, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, at home after a brief illness.
He leaves a brother, Walter G. Carlson Sr. of Fitchburg; a sister, Sadie Payea of Westminster; nieces and nephews. A brother, Lester K. Carlson of California, and a sister, Signe King of Leominster, died before him. He was born in Leominster, son of Klas W. and Ina I. (Erickson) Carlson, and moved to Westminster two years ago. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Carlson was a licensed electrician for Moran Electrical Co. and the former Fitchburg Woolen Mills. He worked for the James River Paper Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
The graveside service, with military honors, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1200 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, MA 01420. Bosk Funeral Home, 85 Blossom St., Fitchburg, is directing arrangements.

WORCESTER -- Ruth (Gregory) Jordan Casey, 81, of South Grafton, formerly of Sunderland Road and formerly of Millbury, a retired nursing home worker, died Saturday, Jan. 27, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus.
Her husband, Alvin J. Casey, died in 1995. She leaves three sons, Gregory R. and Walter A. Jordan, both of South Grafton, and Donald C. Jordan of Millbury; five daughters, Elizabeth A. Richard of South Grafton, with whom she lived since October, Nancy A. Wandland of Sutton, Patricia A. Jordan of Ocean City, N.J., Natalie L. Young of Millbury and Marie C. Jordan of Worcester; a sister, Loretta Hazelwood of Millbury; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Her first husband, Earl G. Jordan, died in 1967. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John P. and Delia E. (Friguglietti) Gregory, and lived many years in Millbury before returning to Worcester in 1972. She graduated from St. Stephen's High School in 1937.
Mrs. Casey was an activity coordinator 10 years at Mill Hill Nursing Home, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a former member of St. Brigid's church, Millbury, where she was a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine teacher and an adult advisor. She was a past president of the Millbury Parent Teachers Association, a past member of the Massachusetts Association of Nursing Homes, and a volunteer at St. Stephen's Thrift Shop.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church Restoration Fund, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester, MA 01604; or to another charity.

MILLBURY -- Eugene M. Cashman, 66, of 30 Linda Ave., a retired store owner, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, at home after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Anita C. (Seymour) Cashman; two daughters, Laurie J. Nelson of Thompson and Deborah E. Flanigan of Webster; a son, Michael G. Cashman of Charlton; two brothers, James J. and Richard X. Cashman, both of Worcester; a sister, Madeline Shepard of Worcester; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A brother, Stephen C. Cashman of Worcester, died in 1979. Another brother, John W. Cashman of Northboro, died in 1996. He was born in Worcester, son of James and Mabel (Conway) Cashman, and moved to Millbury in 1958. He graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester in 1952, and received a bachelor's degree from Clark University in Worcester in 1974. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Cashman owned the Lakeside Package Store in Webster, retiring in 1994 because of illness. He was previously comptroller of Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton for more than 20 years. He also worked at the Sheraton Lincoln Inn in Worcester for several years. He owned and operated the People's Tax Service in Grafton and Millbury for more than 35 years before becoming ill.
He was a member of St. Brigid's Catholic Parish, Post 323 American Legion in Worcester, and the National Society of Public Accountants.
The funeral will be Saturday, Aug. 12, from Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, MA 02446.
Warren H. Chaffee, 79

LONGWOOD, Fla. -- Warren H. Chaffee, 79, of 301 Nelson Ave., formerly of Oxford, Mass., a World War II veteran and a former lumber company owner, died May 5 at home after a long illness.
He leaves his wife, Barbara (Smith) Chaffee; two sons, Bruce Chaffee of Kingston, Mass., and Scott Chaffee of Dudley, Mass.; a daughter, Diane Sorace of Baltimore; his mother, Emily (Rich) Chaffee of Oxford; and four grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of Roger B. Chaffee, and lived in Oxford until moving to Florida in 1972. He attended school in Oxford and graduated from Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Mass. He also attended WPI.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving as a pilot in Asia and the Pacific, and was awarded several medals, including a foreign decoration from the Philippine government with a bronze star. Mr. Chaffee was a vice president of Chaffee Bros. Co. in Oxford, and owned Cameron Lumber Co. in Auburn, Mass.
He was a 60-year member of Oxford United Methodist Church; a member of the Rolling Hills Golf Club and the Masonic Lodge in Florida; past president of the New England Lumbermen's Association; past master of the Oxford Masonic Lodge; a member of the American Legion Post 58 in Oxford and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity; and a former member of the Oxford Lions Club.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in North Cemetery, Oxford, with the Oxford Memorial Honor Guard and the Masons participating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing local arrangements.
