WORCESTER -- Nellie A. (Fiorentino) Capalbo, 80, of 50 Shrewsbury St., formerly of 637 Grafton St., died Sunday, Jan. 28, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- Memorial Campus after a brief illness.
Her husband, Charles A. Capalbo, died in 1992. She leaves two daughters, Frances R. Berger of Dudley and Patricia A. Capalbo of Stoughton; a sister, Angelina Ventura of Worcester; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces. Three sisters, Anne Monopoli, Santa Carenzo and Antoinette Guido, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Nicola and Rose (Cortese) Fiorentino.
Mrs. Capalbo worked at Comfort Products Co. before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church Golden Years, and St. Anne's Church Senior Club.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, from Arthur S. Manzi & Son Funeral Home and Garden Chapel, 179 Shrewsbury St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the funeral home.

LEOMINSTER -- Elizabeth (Dolle) Peterson, 83, of 281 Pleasant St., died Monday, April 9, in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 65 years, Edmund R. Peterson; two sons, Richard E. Peterson of Sun City, Ariz., and Kenneth E. Peterson of St. Charles, Ill.; three daughters, Helen A. Wadsworth of Windsor Locks, Conn., Linda R. Fahey of Leominster and Jean E. Stowell of Hubbardston; a sister, Eleanor D. Eidam in Illinois; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was born in Boston, daughter of Frank T. and Helen A. (Goddard) Dolle, and lived 15 years in Florida before moving to Leominster in 1994. She graduated from Hyde Park High School.
Mrs. Peterson was a member of Covenant Congregational Church in Forest Hills.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, in Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. Burial will be in Plymouth County Cemetery, Plymouth. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 6, in the funeral home. LEOMINSTER -- Francis S. Lachapelle, 68, of 32 South Cotton St., a retired stationary engineer, died Friday, Aug. 11, in UMass Memorial Medical Center -- University Campus, Worcester.
His wife, Joan F. (Flannagan) Lachapelle, died in 1999. He leaves three sons, Brian, Neil and Keith Lachapelle, all of Leominster; two stepsons, Arthur and Kevin Paradis, both of Leominster; his mother, Elizabeth (Cummings) Lachapelle of Leominster; two brothers, Leo Lachapelle of Savannah, Ga., and Guy Lachapelle of Sunset Beach, N.C.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Leominster, son of Leo Lachapelle, and was a Coast Guard veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Lachapelle was a stationary engineer for Cutler Hospital at the former Fort Devens in Ayer before retiring.
He was a member of St. Leo's Parish, the Leominster Lodge of Elks 1237, and the Franco-American Veterans. He enjoyed golfing and camping.
After cremation, the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, in Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St. Burial will be at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Central Massachusetts Inc., PO Box 442, Fitchburg, MA 01420; or to another charity.
Normand C. Lebeau, 89

MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. -- Normand C. Lebeau, 89, of Route A1A, formerly of 8 Hartley St. in Webster, Mass., a retired maintenance worker, died Tuesday, March 6, at home.
He leaves his wife, Genevieve (Witkowski) Lebeau; two sons, Norman Lebeau of Georgetown, S.C., and Roger A. Lebeau of Webster; two daughters, Elaine Melanson of Melbourne and Janet Cormier of Webster; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. His first wife, Stacia C. (Bonneau) Lebeau, died in 1972. He was born in New Bedford, Mass., son of Oliver and Amelia (Trtingue) Lebeau, and moved to Webster in 1927 and to Florida in 1982.
Mr. Lebeau worked in maintenance at Ethan Allen Furniture Co. in Dudley, Mass., retiring in 1980.
The memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, is directing arrangements.
Frederick Lowe, 51

CLINTON -- Frederick Lowe, 51, of 545 High St., died Saturday, June 2, in his home.He leaves his father, Gilbert L. Lowe, with whom he lived; a brother, Donald A. Lowe of Clinton; and a niece. He was born in Clinton, son of Elizabeth M. (Stitt) Lowe. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1968 and from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1973.
Mr. Lowe worked at Van Brode, and later for several local plastics company. He also enjoyed bowling and golf and was an avid fisherman.
The private graveside service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The James E. Watson Funeral Home, 149 Water St., is directing the arrangements. JAFFREY, N.H. -- LeRoy Matthews, 66, of 50 Forest Park, formerly of Leominster, Mass., died Saturday, Jan. 27, in Monadnock Community Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, Jean M. (Landry) Matthews; three sons, Gary L. Matthews of Leominster and John R. and Jesse L. Matthews, both of Jaffrey; two daughters, Lisa Thomann of Groton, Mass., and Hollie A. Matthews Hoover of Leominster; three sisters, Marie Heine of Massachusetts, Faith “Peggy” Peloquin of Tennessee, and Jean Dollarhide of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Mark Matthews, and two brothers, Donald and Raymond Matthews, predeceased him. He was born in Leominster, son of Raymond and Lena H. (McEleny) Matthews, and moved to Jaffrey a few years ago.
Mr. Matthews was a foreman many years at Tamor Plastic Co. in Leominster, retiring many years ago. There are no funeral services planned. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in M.A. Simard and Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. NORTHBRIDGE -- Cecile J. (Chabot) Berry, 77, of 27 Fletcher St., Whitinsville, died Friday, July 27, in the Geriatric Authority of Milford, after an illness.
Her husband of 51 years, Josiah C. Berry, died last year. She leaves two daughters, Rebecca A. Boisvert and Deborah A. Gazaille, both of Whitinsville; a sister, Marie Collamati of Bellingham; six grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. A brother, Joseph Chabot, and a sister, Laura Picard, predeceased her. She was born in Northbridge, daughter of Joseph S.O. and Marie (Gagne) Chabot, and lived in Whitinsville most of her life. She was educated in Northbridge Schools.
Mrs. Berry worked at the former Whitin Machine Works of Whitinsville for 44 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Uxbridge Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading, bingo, and crossword puzzles.
The funeral service will be Monday, July 30, from the Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, Cross Street, Whitinsville. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Whitinsville. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 29, in the funeral home. CHARLTON -- Barbara E. (Landin) Clark, 69, of 11 Sunset Drive, died Thursday, July 26, at her home after a long illness.
Her husband, Myron L. Clark, died in 1985. She leaves two sons, David M. Clark II of Thompson, Conn. and Kenneth L. Clark of Charlton City; two daughters, Deborah L. Petkiewicz of Charlton and Karen L. Lounsbury of North Grosvenordale, Conn.; three brothers, Carl Landin of West Palm Beach, Fla., Milton Landin of Georgia, and Ronald Landin of Murphy, N.C.; five grandchildren; and a great granddaughter. She was born in Auburn, daughter of Carl and Leona (Mann) Landin and lived in Charlton since 1976. She was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Clark was a clerk for the Charlton Board of Health and Clark Associates of Worcester and Charlton. She was a member of the Federated Church of Charlton and volunteered for many church programs. She was also a member of the Glen Echo Lake Association.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30 in the Federated Church of Charlton, Main St. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. ATHOL -- Edward J. Rahaim, 87, of 821 Daniel Shay Highway, a retired business owner and operator, died Friday, July 13, in Quabbin Valley Nursing Home, after a long illness.
His former wife, Grace (DeFantis) Rahaim of Gardner, died in 1998. He leaves a son, Peter Rahaim of Essex Junction, Vt.; a daughter, Carol Baublis of Gardner; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A sister, Isabel Landon of Fitchburg, and six brothers, Sharky Rahaim of Springfield, Phillip Rahaim of Westminster, Albert, Robert and Arnold Rahaim, all of Gardner, and William Rahaim of Sheffield, Ala., predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Thomas and Sadie (Haaje) Rahaim, and lived most of his life in the Gardner area. He attended Worcester schools.
Mr. Rahaim owned and operated Aber Machine & Tool Co., Templeton, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner, and a life member of the Gardner Lodge of Elks.
The funeral will be held Monday, July 16, from Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 15, in the funeral home. WORCESTER -- Roger L. Dupre, 59, of 52 Country Club Blvd., a retired shipper, died Tuesday, April 10, at home after a long illness.
He leaves a son, Paul R. Dupre of Worcester; three daughters, Susan M. Callahan of Roslindale, Helen M. Brodin and Samantha M. Dupre, both of Worcester; two brothers, Richard P. Dupre of Groton, Conn. and David J. Dupre of Worcester; a sister, Joan Cane of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Gardner, son of Leonard and Germaine B. (Ouellet) Dupre, and lived most of his life in Worcester. He attended Boys Trade High School.
Mr. Dupre was a shipper at Imperial Distributors, Auburn, retiring in 1991. He was a sports enthusiast.
The graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 13, in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

LEOMINSTER -- Robert N. MacDonald, 41, of 114 Legate Hill Road, a FedEx employee, died Wednesday, April 11, in Clinton Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident that evening in Sterling.
He leaves his wife of two years, Debra A. (Perla) MacDonald; his parents, John M. and Jeanne F. (Nocera) MacDonald of Maynard; a brother, Allan J. MacDonald of Weymouth; two sisters, Dianne F. MacDonald of Scituate and Christine A. MacDonald of San Diego; his maternal grandmother, Frances Nocera of Waltham; a nephew and a niece. He was born in Waltham and lived several years in Maynard before moving here in 1992. He graduated from Minuteman Regional High School, Lexington, and Suffolk University, Boston.
At the time of his death, Mr. MacDonald was working in home delivery for FedEx. He previously worked for Icon Office Solutions at N.E.C. Technology in Littleton. He also owned and operated Paws, a home pet-sitting business in the Metro West area. He attended St. Anna's Church.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 17, from Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anna's Church, 194 Lancaster St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
