WEBSTER -- Victoria I. (Kosakoski) Piotrowski, 93, formerly of Dresser Street, a longtime participant in church activities, died yesterday in Oakwood Rehabilitation Center after an illness.
Her husband of 58 years, Stanley W. Piotrowski, died in 1993. She leaves six nephews, Chester and Edward Kosakoski, both of Webster, Frank Kosakowski of Bellingham, Joseph Piotrowski of Three Rivers, Robert Piotrowski of Waterbury, Vt., and Edward Piotrowski of Sacramento, Calif.; a niece, Evelyn Berthiaume of Webster; grandnephews and grandnieces. She was born in Webster, daughter of Peter and Josephine (Werner) Kosakoski.
Mrs. Piotrowski was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of its Holy Rosary Sodality, its Sacred Heart Society and its St. Anne's Society.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Margaret Pitts, 90

HUDSON -- Margaret (McDonald) Pitts, 90, formerly of Main Street, a longtime electronics assembler, died yesterday in Bolton Manor Nursing Home, Marlboro, after an illness.
Her husband, Joseph Pitts, died in 1964. She leaves a son, James Pitts of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Pauline McKinley and Bernadette Harris, both of Hudson; a sister, Rose Lawrence of Wethersfield, Conn; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. A son, Joseph Pitts of Marlboro, died in 1964. She was born in Cambridge, daughter of Thomas and Sadie (Avery) McDonald, and lived here 47 years.
Mrs. Pitts was an electronics assembler for many years at Hewlett-Packard Co. in Waltham. She was later a cafeteria worker at Cox Street School and a sales clerk at Bargainland for many years until it closed. She was a member of St. Isidore's Church in Stow and the Ladies Sodality at Blessed Sacrament Church in Cambridge.
The funeral will be held Wednesday from Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Isidore's Church, 429 Great Road, Stow. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
Barbara A. Prunier, 57

WORCESTER -- Barbara A. (Sweeney) Prunier, 57, of 36 Ashwood St. and Port Lucie, Fla., retired owner and operator of Anchor Lounge in Millbury, died Tuesday in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 36 years, Ronald A. Prunier; two sons, Ronald F. and John P. Prunier, both of Worcester; and three grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John F. and Mary L. (O'Connell) Sweeney. Her stepmother, Bernice (Klucyrick) Sweeney, died in 1981. She graduated from St. Stephen's High School.
Mrs. Prunier owned and operated Anchor Lounge in Millbury for many years before retiring.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 9 Hammond St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Davis S. Rawson Jr., 56

OAKLAND, Maine -- Davis S. Rawson Jr., 56, of Oakland, a Maine journalist and political commentator, died Tuesday at home after a battle with cancer.
He leaves his wife, Nancy Perry, formerly of Oxford, Mass.; and two daughters. He was born in Caribou. He graduated from Bowdoin College and Boston University and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Rawson worked at several newspapers in Maine, including the Bangor Daily News, the Somerset Reporter and the Waterville Morning Sentinel. He enjoyed dancing, skiing and traveling.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Unitarian Universalist Conference Center at Ferry Beach, Route 9, in Saco. Redington Funeral Home, 5 Park St., Waterville, is directing arrangements.
Lawrence A. Renaud, 83

FITCHBURG -- Lawrence A. Renaud, 83, of 26 Swan Ave., a papermaker for more than 30 years, died yesterday in HealthAlliance-Leominster Hospital after an illness.
His wife, Jenny (Quastello) Renaud, died last August. He leaves a son, Joseph Renaud of Fitchburg; two daughters, Grace L. Marshall of Gardner and Mary Ann Boyd of Fitchburg; a brother, Clifford Renaud of Polk City, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was born in Fitchburg, son of Adelard and Marie (Doucette) Renaud.
He once served in the Massachusetts National Guard.
Mr. Renaud was a papermaker at Falulah Paper Co. for more than 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of St. Anthony de Padua Church, the South End Club, the South Fitchburg Social Club, Fitchburg Lodge of Elks and Fitchburg Aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an avid fisherman.
The funeral will be held Friday from M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony de Padua Church, 87 Salem St. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. A calling hour is 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
James W. Robichaud, 70

WORCESTER -- James W. Robichaud, 70, of 275 St. Nicholas Ave., an expediter for 39 years, died Sunday in Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Josephine M. (Ostrowski) Robichaud; a son, James F. Robichaud of Holden; three daughters, Jo Ann Robichaud of Seattle, Jane M. Robichaud of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Judith A. Robichaud of Cambridge; a brother, John Robichaud of Shrewsbury; two grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Eugene M. and Margaret (Hennessey) Robichaud. He graduated from Commerce High School.
He served in the Army.
Mr. Robichaud was an expediter at Heald Machine Division of Cincinnati Milacron Inc. for 39 years, retiring in 1987.
He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church.
At his request, no funeral service is planned. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Nordgren, Carrigan, Mangsen Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., is directing arrangements.
Gerard J. Roy Sr., 74

BRADENTON, Fla. -- Gerard J. Roy Sr., 74, of Bradenton, formerly of Worcester, Mass., died Feb. 20 at home after a brief illness.
His wife of 51 years, Elsie (Brown) Roy, died in 1996. He leaves two sons, Gerard Roy Jr. of Indianapolis and Stephen Roy of Newport, Vt.; six daughters, Christine Larocque of Bradenton, Suzanne Hastings of Troy, Vt., Berni Roy of Cortez, Mariette Roy-Franco of Lebanon, Tenn., Karen Cole of Great Barrington, Mass., and Linda Cabana of Carthage, Tenn.; two brothers and six sisters; 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was born in Megantic County, Springhill, now Nates, Quebec, son of Laureat and Marie-Claire (Beaudoin) Roy, and lived in Worcester and Vermont before moving to Florida.
Mr. Roy owned and operated Roy's Drive-In in North Brookfield, Mass.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Star of the Sea, Clermont Terrace, Newport, Vt. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Newport. Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, Newport, is directing arrangements.
Dorothy Rule, 100

MILLBURY -- Dorothy (Densmore) Rule, 100, formerly of Spencer and Worcester, a retired housekeeper, died Saturday in Providence House Nursing Home after an illness.
Her husband, James J. Rule, died in 1941. She leaves a son, Gordon B. Rule of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Wilma F. Ryder of Millbury; a sister, Florence Kennedy of Chelsea, Vt.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Chelsea, Vt., daughter of William and Cora S. (Durkee) Densmore, and lived 15 years in Worcester and 36 years in Spencer before moving here in 1989. She graduated from Chelsea High School, Vt., in 1915.
Mrs. Rule was a housekeeper in private employment and at Hahnemann and Memorial hospitals, both in Worcester, for many years, retiring in 1970.
She was a member of First Congregational Church, Spencer, and its Fortnightly Club. She was also a member of Spencer Lodge of Rebekahs.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Turgeon Funeral Home, 64 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. A calling hour is 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to First Congregational Church, Memorial Fund, Main Street, Spencer, MA 01562.

WORCESTER -- Douglas A. Santimore Jr., 28, of 79 Sylvan St., a cleaning worker, was stricken ill and died Saturday at home.
He leaves a son, Michael Krause; a daughter, Amanda Santimore, both of Shrewsbury; his parents, Douglas A. Santimore Sr. and Patricia (Devine) Santimore of Worcester; three sisters, Cheryl Santimore of Worcester, Diane Saluga of San Jose, Calif., and Jennifer Phillips of Grafton; uncles and aunts; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester. He graduated from Worcester Boys' Trade High School.
Mr. Santimore worked for Service Master Cleaning Co.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Sidney B. Smith, 79

NORTHBRIDGE -- Sidney B. Smith, 79, of Providence Road, a decorated veteran of World War II, died Monday afternoon at home.
His wife, Alice B. (Canon) Smith, died in 1992. He leaves a son, Richard B. Smith of Northbridge; a daughter, Jan A. Smith-Dec of Whitinsville; a brother, Michael Smith of Boynton Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Leona Cook of Whitinsville, Jenny Downs of Kingwood, Texas, Anne Gleason of Salem, Ore., and Charlotte Starr of Littleton; and nieces and nephews. He was born in Whitinsville, son of Butler H. and Lena (Beinema) Smith, and lived in Northbridge most of his life.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, rising to the rank of major in the Air Force. He received the Chinese Liberation Air Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Philippine Liberation Medal and the Meritorious Service Unit Award for his service during World War II, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Smith was a machinist at Norton Co. in Worcester for 11 years, retiring in 1973. He and his wife also owned an antique store, Smith's Village Shop, for 25 years.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Buma Funeral Home, 480 Church St., Whitinsville. Burial will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Providence Road. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
