Demetri Parfenuk
Demetri Parfenuk, a Watertown resident for 65 years, died at home on Wednesday, June 21, 2006, after a brief illness. He was 82 years old.
He was born in Lincoln, NH, a son of Samuel and Mary (Hrihorowicz) Parfenuk. He was a graduate of Mechanic Arts High School, Boston and continued his education taking night courses at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Parfenuk was an Engineer for Honeywell Corp until his retirement in 1985.
Mr. Parfenuk, a member of Club 50 at the Watertown Savings Bank, enjoyed music, art, and computers. He was also a gifted handyman with the ability to fix anything.
He leaves his wife of 47 years, Anna V. (Scanzillo) Parfenuk; three daughters: Carol Waldron and her husband Eric Waldron of Needham, Diane Bemis of Watertown, and Betty Parfenuk Waterman and her husband Ernie Parfenuk Waterman of Needham; a brother, Walter Parfenuk of Townsend; a sister Pauline Strong formerly of Somerville; and 6 grandchildren: Matthew, Michael and Scott Waldron, Timothy Bemis, Emma and Alex Parfenuk Waterman.

John A. MacInnes
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 for Mr. John A. MacInnes. Mr. MacInness was born in Cambridge, a son of the late Henry Duncan and Mary (Cash) MacInnes. He grew up in Watertown, graduating from St. Patrick’s High School and has been a lifelong resident of Watertown. He worked for many years at the Union Market Station formerly of Nichols Ave. in Watertown. Mr. McInness die on Sunday April 22, 2007 at the Brighton House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brighton at the age of 70.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Fuller of Marietta, GA. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 grandnephews and 2 grandnieces.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00 A.M. in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
MARJORIE L. DELANEY
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 8, 2006 for Marjorie L. (Lyons) Delaney of Cambridge, who died July 5, 2006 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late John F.Delaney, Jr. Cousin of Frederick Allen of CO. Sister-in-law of Margaret M. O’Connell and her husband Thomas F. of Milton, Sr. Jean Delaney of No. Andover and Paul J. Bertha G. Austin
A Service for Bertha Grace (Marriott) Austin, 86, will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 11 AM in the Bigelow Chapel of Mount Auburn Cemetery, 590 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge, MA.
Mrs. Austin was born in Wales, Mass., a daughter of William E. and Flora E. (Young) Marriott. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School and has lived in Watertown for the past 67 years. Mrs. Austin, a retired clerk for Blue Cross-Blue Shield, enjoyed crafts and knitting, as well as spending time with her extended family in the Worcester area. She died on Friday, April 20, 2007 in the Radius Health Care Center, Worcester, after a brief illness.
She leaves a son, Kenneth R. Austin and his wife Susan M. Austin of Auburn.
The Rev. Robert Asinger, Pastor of Phillips Congregational Church, will officiate at the services in the chapel and at the grave. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 22 Blossom St., Boston, MA. 02114.

Stephen J. Dickie
A Funeral Mass for Stephen John Dickie, 45, will be celebrated on Monday, May 7, 2007, in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
Mr. Dickie was born in Boston and lived most of his life in Watertown. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and furthered his educated at Bentley College. Mr. Dickie, a wiring technician, has lived in York Beach, Maine for the past 10 years. He died on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in the York Hospital, York, Maine.
Son of the late Ann R. (Flanagan) Dickie and brother of the late Michael E. Dickie, he leaves his father Emerson J. Dickie and his step-mother, Nancy (Poirier) Dickie of Watertown; his companion, Maureen McAuliffe of York, Me; his daughter, Raschelle McAuliffe of York, ME; two brothers: Kevin J. Dickie of Medway and Brendan J. Dickie of Watertown; and 6 nieces and nephews.
The Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., on Rte. 20, Watertown, on Monday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 o'clock in the Church of Saint Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown.

Dorothy L. McBee
A Funeral Service for Dorothy Lucy (Neshe) McBee, 85, will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 11:30 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown.
Mrs. McBee, born in Watertown and a graduate of Watertown High School. She lived most of her life in Watertown until moving to Townsend 11 years ago. She was an executive assistant to the director of the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority until her retirement in 1986. Mrs. McBee, an artist with a focus on still life painting, also enjoyed sewing and most especially taking care of her grandchildren. Mrs. McBee died in the Apple Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Ayer, on Thursday, May 3, 2007.
She leaves two children: Roy H. “Buddy” McBee, Jr. and Sharon L. Lacasse, both of Townsend; two grandsons: Scott McBee and Sean McBee; and three brothers: Peter Neshe of Watertown, John Neshe of Waltham and August Neshe of Framingham.
Wife of the late Roy H. McBee. Sr. who died in April of 1985, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Domenica (Servello) Neshe and sister of the late Mary Mele.
Calling hours will be on Monday, May 7th from 4-7 PM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main Street, on Rte. 20, Watertown. Interment will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Watertown, on Tuesday following the funeral home services.

Marion J. Regan
A Funeral Service for Marion Jane (Quirk) Regan, 85, will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 11 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., on Rte. 20, Watertown.
Mrs. Regan was born in Waltham, a daughter of Lawrence V. and Jane (O’Connell) Quirk. She was a graduate of Newton High School and has lived in Watertown for 60 years. Mrs. Regan, a retired technician at Raytheon Co., enjoyed reading and traveling. She died on Friday, May 11, 2007, in the Emerson Hospital, Concord.

She leaves two children: Joseph W. Regan, III, of Westford and Maureen Regan Beatrice of Cambridge, and two grandchildren: Stacey L. Regan and Joseph W. Regan, IV.
Wife of the late Joseph W. Regan, Jr. who died in July 1981, she was also the mother of the late Lawrence V. Regan, and sister of the late Leonard Quirk and Gerald Quirk.
A visiting hour will be held on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 o’clock, prior to the service. Interment will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Emma C. Fritz
A Funeral Service for Emma Catherine (Leombruno) Fritz, 86, will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 10 AM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., on Rte. 20, Watertown.
Mrs. Fritz was born in Salmona, Italy, a daughter of Arcangelo and Regina (Leombruno) Leombruno. Her family came to the United States when she was a child and settled in Watertown where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Watertown High School. Mrs. Fritz, a retired technician for Raytheon Co., enjoyed gardening. She died in the Maristhill Nursing Home, Waltham, on Sunday, May 13, 2007.
She leaves a daughter, Dorothy DeSouza Chase of Waltham; a granddaughter, Karen DeSouza Pesce of Malden; a great-grandson, Anthony Pesce of Malden; and two sisters: Marjorie Cappadona of Burlington and Lena Casey of Canton.
Wife of the late Maurice G. Fritz, she was also the mother of the late Helen M. O’Brien; and sister of the late Oreste Leombruno, Arthur Leombruno and Louis Leombruno.

Sr. Mary Daniel O'Keeffe, O.P.
A Funeral Mass for Sister Mary Daniel O’Keeffe, O.P., a member of the Sisters of Saint Dominic, Caldwell, NJ, and an Associate Dean at Boston College, will be celebrated on Saturday, May 19th at 10 AM in the Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola, 28 Commonwealth Ave., Chestnut Hill, Newton, MA.
Sister was born in Brighton, a daughter of Daniel and Julia (Geaney) O’Keeffe and christened Eileen Marie O’Keefe. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy, Boston, and received her B.A. from Caldwell College in New Jersey, a M.A. from Boston College and a Ph.D. also from Boston College. Sr. entered the Order of Saint Dominic in August of 1953 and professed her final vows on June 29, 1955.
Sister, during her career, had taught at St. Philip School, Mt. St. Dominic Academy, Lacordaire Academy in New Jersey. She had been an Adjunct Instructor at Seton Hall University, NJ, a Director of Academic Counseling and Lecturer in Humanities at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH, an Assistant Dean of the School of Continuing Education at Providence College in Rhode Island, and from 1989 to the present was an Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for freshmen at Boston College.
She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu- Jesuit Honor Society, had been the Curriculum Consultant for Foreign Languages for the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ and had served on the Executive Board of Adult Learner Committee of NACADA. In addition, Sister had received a Wall Street Journalism Grant, a Fulbright Scholarship to the American Academy in Rome and the Virgilian Academy in Cumae, Italy, a Dissertation Scholarship from Boston College, and a Neylan Commission Grant from the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.
Sister, a resident of Waltham, died on Tuesday night, May 15, 2007, in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston. She was 73 years old and a member of the Sisters of Saint Dominic, Caldwell, NJ, for 54 years.
Daughter of the late Daniel and Julia (Geaney) O’Keeffe, she was the sister of Vincent O’Keeffe and his wife Pauline of Marstons Mills, Mary Breen and her husband Richard of Brighton and the late Sheila O’Keeffe. She also leaves a devoted friend Sr. Mary Costello, O.P. of Waltham, 7 nieces and nephews, 12 grandnieces and nephews and her sisters in the Dominican Order.
Calling hours will be on Friday, May 18th from 4-8 PM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St., on Rte. 20, Watertown, MA. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
