She was the wife of the late Edward Shippen. Mother of Suzanne Shippen Zimmermann of Philadelphia, PA, Nancy Shippen of Acton, and Nina Brooks Shippen of Weston. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
