Dana P. Stelline, Plumber

Dana P. Stelline, 29, of Baltimore, Md., formerly of Beverly died Oct. 16 in Baltimore, Md. following complications from a motorcycle accident he was in four years ago.
Born in Beverly, Mr. Stelline was the son and step son of Linda (Pesce) and Harry Reardon of Beverly and Henry Stelline of Beverly. He was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1990 and had been a resident of Beverly until he moved to Baltimore, Md. one and a half years ago.
Mr. Stelline was employed as a plumber with A. Bell and Company of Beverly prior to his accident. He also worked for the Plumber's Union. Mr. Stelline loved life and lived it to his fullest. He was an avid motorcyclist.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stelline is survived by: his sister, Tracey McKay of Baltimore, Md.; two step-brothers, Michael Reardon of New York, N.Y. and Mark Reardon of Beverly; his maternal grandmother, Marie Pesce of Baltimore, Md.; paternal grandparents, Henry Sr. and Phyllis Stelline of Danvers; step-paternal grandmother, Dorothy (Maskell) Periko of Gloucester; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 24 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Beverly. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beverly.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
David E. Haskell, U.S. Air Force veteran

David E. Haskell, 68, of Beverly died Oct. 14 at his home in his sleep. He was the former husband of Carol (Archibald) Haskell of Connecticut.
Born on Nov. 29, 1931, Mr. Haskell was the son of the late Myrtle W. (Parkinson) and Richard T. Haskell Sr. He was a graduate of Beverly High School and Northeastern University and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Haskell had a long successful career as a manufacturer's representative in the electronic components industry, retiring five years ago due to ill health. A lifelong collector of coins and bottles, he was also an enthusiast of the outdoors who enjoyed exploring the woods and streams of New England, especially along the Kancamangus Highway in the Lincoln, N.H. area.
Mr. Haskell is survived by: his daughters, Julia Krause and Laura Tibbo and her husband, Christopher; son, Lee Haskell; two grandchildren, Tyler Adam Haskell and Shania Leigh Haskell Krause, all of Connecticut; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of Shirley Haskell Swanson of Danvers and Richard T. Haskell and his wife, Barbara of Rancho Mirage, Calif.
Arrangements were by the Lee, Moody and Russell Funeral Home of Beverly.
A memorial service is planned for the spring.
Dianne M. Bace, Beloved by family, friends

Dianne Marie (Burns) Bace, 46, of Huntington, N.Y., formerly of Beverly died Oct. 15 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was the wife of John C. Bace.
Born in Beverly, Mrs. Bace was the daughter of John and Alice (Grady) Burns. She lived in Beverly for many years and resided in New York for the past 20 years. Mrs. Bace graduated from Beverly High School in 1972, attended Westfield State College and graduated from the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston in 1975. During her sophomore year of high school, she was named the YMCA Girl of the Year. She also taught swimming lessons to the handicapped.
Mrs. Bace met her husband while employed at the Huntington, N.Y. Town Hall. She worked in the Office for Handicapped Affairs and was also a former member of the North Shore Handicapped Association.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bace is survived by: a brother and sister-in-law, David and Heather Burns of Concord, N.H.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Adrianne and Richard Grein of Hanover, Md., and Elaine and Daryll Crowley of Beverly; several nieces and nephews; and her good friends, Lynn Alkes of Huntington, N.Y. and Yvonne Ceraio of Babylon, N.Y., who cared for her for many years.
Funeral services were held Oct. 20 from the Campbell Funeral Home, Beverly, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Beverly. Burial was in Central Cemetery, Beverly.
Dominic A. Donato, Family ties to Beverly

Dominic A. Donato, 88, of Peabody, formerly of East Lynn died Oct. 22 at the Sunbridge Rehabilitation Facility in Beverly. He was the husband of Josephine T. (LaCava) Donato.
Born in Carbondeal, Pa., Dec. 31, 1911, Mr. Donato was the son of the late Thomas and Rose (Scalzo) Donato. He moved to Lynn at the age of 6 and, in 1931 graduated from Lynn English High School.
During his working lifetime, Mr. Donato was employed by several businesses in Lynn, including General Electric, the former J.B. Blood Market, The First National Stores, the H.P. Hood Milk Co., the former Howard's Market and Hillcrest Liquors where he had been a sales manager.
On Sept. 1, 1941, he was married to Josephine T. LaCava in the Holy Family Church of Lynn and the couple remained active parishioners until 1980.
Mr. Donato is survived by: his daughter, Rose Marie and her husband, Donald R. Leclerc of Beverly; his son, Thomas A. Donato and his wife, Sharon of Peabody; three sisters, Edith M. Savoie, Celeste C. Donato and Ann C. Donato, all of Lynn; six grandchildren, Donald R. Leclerc Jr. of Lynn, Paul R. Leclerc of Miami, Fla., John T. Leclerc of Salem, Mark J. Leclerc of Beverly, Matthew T. Donato of Chicago and Andrew J. Donato, freshman at Providence College in Rhode Island; and six great-grandchildren.
His funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 25 in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Beverly. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements were by the Bick and Curry Funeral Home of Beverly.
Donald W. Martin, Budget analyst

Donald W. Martin, 79, of Beverly died Oct. 19 at Beverly Hospital in Beverly following a brief illness. He was the husband of Justine B. (Bishop) Martin.
Born in Salem, Mr. Martin was the son of the late Frank S. and Ethel (Voller) Martin. He lived in Beverly most of his life and graduated from Bentley College. Mr. Martin worked as a budget analyst for New England Power Company for 45 years before retiring in 1987. He was also a member of the Second Congregational Church in Beverly and of the Starr King Lodge AF and AM.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Martin is survived by two sons, Glenn W. Martin of Beverly and Peter R. Martin of Cape Coral, Fla.; one daughter, Gay L. Martin of Providence, R.I.; three brothers, Robert Martin of Salem, Richard and F. Kenneth Martin, both of Florida; one sister, Sally Knowles of Salem; six grandchildren, Millie Martin of Beverly, Emily Giberson of Exeter, N.H., Sam Giberson of Dover, N.H., Traci Dungan, Ami McClure and Peter Jon Martin, all of Florida; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services were held from the Campbell Funeral Home of Beverly.

Eleanor P. Gildart, Lifelong resident of Beverly

Eleanor P. (Sullivan) Gildart, 84, of Beverly died Oct. 24 at Beverly Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late James E. Gildart.
Born in Beverly, Mrs. Gildart was the daughter of the late John P. and Mary E. (McKeone) Sullivan. A lifetime resident of Beverly, she was also a communicant of St. Margaret's Church.
Mrs. Gildart is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. and Ann Gildart of Beverly Farms; two granddaughters, Kimberly Gildart of California and Jill Gildart of Georgia; a step grandson, Alid Reed of Danvers; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late John Sullivan and Anne Frost and the mother-in-law of the late Doreen (Gagnon) Gildart.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret's Church, Beverly Farms on Saturday at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. It is requested that there be no visiting hours. Burial will be in Beverly Farms Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Campbell Funeral Home of Beverly.

Elmer G. Dawson Jr., U.S. Navy veteran

Elmer G. (Guy) Dawson Jr., 70, of Beverly died unexpectedly Oct. 18 at Beverly Hospital in Beverly.
Born in Beverly, Mr. Dawson was the son of the late Elmer G. and Alice (Grigas) Dawson. He lived in Beverly his entire life and graduated from Beverly High School in 1950. Before retiring, Mr. Dawson was an electronics technician employed at Varian in Beverly for 20 years. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of Amaral-Bailey Post 113, American Legion, Italian Community Center, Vittori-Rocci Post 56 and was an avid football enthusiast.
Mr. Dawson is survived by: his son, Mark J. Dawson of Beverly; one brother, William Dawson of Seabrook, N.H.; four sisters, Alice R. LaPointe of Beverly, Barbara J. Meaney of New York, Patricia Davenport of Rowley and Joan Ranieri of Manchester-by-the-Sea; several close friends, Nancy Minigell of Andover, Gale Cahoon of Reading, Judy Breton of Chelmsford and Andre Charette of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Walter Dawson.
Funeral services were held Oct. 21 from the Campbell Funeral Home of Beverly, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Beverly. Burial was in North Beverly Cemetery.
J. Wilbur Chapman III, Worked for investment firm

J. Wilbur Chapman III, 85, of Falmouth, Maine, died Oct. 18 at Maine Medical Center after a recent illness. October 18 also marked his 62nd wedding anniversary to his wife Jane E. Chapman, formerly of Beverly.
Born in New York City, Mr. Chapman was the son of the late J. Wilbur Jr. and Aline Bonay Chapman. He was also the grandson of the late J. Wilbur Chapman I, world-renowned evangelist and protg to Dwight L. Moody.
Mr. Chapman attended the Staunton Military Academy in Virginia, Texas Military Institute, Williams College and Bowdoin College. He worked at Dennison Manufacturing Company as a manager of war supplies and then at Wood-Struthers Investments of Texas and R.L. Day Investment Company in Boston. He was most recently employed by Tucker Anthony/R.L. Day Investment Company in Portland, Maine, from which he retired in 1990.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Chapman is survived by: two daughters, Brooke C. Hatch of Bridgeton, Maine and Lynne Grabelle of Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held in Beverly. Arrangements were by the Lee, Moody and Russell Funeral Home of Beverly.
Karen R. Tibbetts, Worked for florist

Karen R. Tibbetts, 53, of Wakefield died peacefully Oct. 22 at her home after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Lynn May 28, 1947, Ms. Tibbetts was the daughter of George C. and Mabel C. (Spinney) McLemore of Wakefield. She was a graduate of Lynnfield High School, Class of 1970 and had been employed with Gregory's Florist as a flower arranger.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Tibbetts is survived by: her son, Matthew D. Tibbetts of Wakefield; brothers, Robert A. McLemore and his wife, Marydee of Beverly and Daniel C. McLemore and his wife, Mary Ellen of Lynnfield. She was also the aunt of Paul D., Julia A. and Mary Katherine McLemore and Brian M. and Heidi E. Cresta.
Her funeral service was held Oct. 25 from the First Parish Congregational Church, Wakefield. Interment was in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. Arrangements were by the McDonald Funeral Home of Wakefield.
Kenneth L. Zuchowski, Master electrician

Kenneth L. Zuchowski, 44, of Pavillon, N.Y., formerly of Beverly died unexpectedly Oct. 19.
Born Aug. 4, 1956 in Salem, Mr. Zuchowski was the son of Marjorie C. Jaslowich of Falmouth and the late Stanley E. Zuchowski. He resided in Beverly for many years before moving to Pavillon, N.Y. more than 20 years ago. Mr. Zuchowski attended Beverly public schools and was a graduate of the Salem Vocational Technical School. He was a self-employed master electrician in upstate New York for many years.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Zuchowski is survived by: his daughter, Amanda Zuchowski of Winthrop; two sons, Justin and Chad Zuchowski, both of Warsaw, N.Y.; two sisters, Cynthia L. Santoro of Clifton, N.J. and Ellen J. Zuchowski of Reading; three brothers, Steven T. Zuchowski of South Weymouth, Neal R. Zuchowski of Auburn, N.H. and Lee P. Zuchowski of Dover, N.H; a maternal grandmother, Bernadette Arsenault of Chelsea; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot St., Beverly at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem.

Margaret M. (Ahearn) Charland, 83, of Beverly died unexpectedly Oct. 19. She was the wife of the late Philip Charland.
Born in Beverly, Mrs. Charland was the daughter of the late Patrick and Nellie (Walsh) Ahearn. A lifelong resident, she graduated from Beverly High School in 1934. For many years, Mrs. Charland was employed with the city of Beverly in the City Clerk's Office, retiring in 1980. She was also a lifelong member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish and a member of the Beverly Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Charland is survived by: one daughter and son-on-law, Nancy and Bruce Burgess of Beverly; one son and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Joy Charland of Beverly and Caryl Charland of Danvers; seven grandchildren, Bruce, Terrence and Jennifer Burgess of Beverly, Kristin, Erin and Sarah Charland of Beverly and Amy Porter of Washington; one great-grandson, Matthew Burgess of Beverly; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Philip Charland and the sister of the late William, John, James, Helen and Mary Ahearn.
Funeral services were held Oct. 23 from the Campbell Funeral Home of Beverly, followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Beverly. Burial was in North Beverly Cemetery.
