Anthony - Lawrence Leo of Orient Heights East Boston, on Tuesday December 3rd, 2002 after a brief illness at 81 years of age. Life long resident of East Boston.
Beloved husband of 55½ years to Phyllis (Horne) Anthony.
Devoted father of Phyllis Cohen BPS and her husband Gerald of Randolph, Lawrence L. "Larry" Anthony Jr. and his wife Carol of Danvers, Kathleen Kelly and her husband Edward of Framingham, and Robert E. Anthony B.P.D. and his wife Jacalyn of East Boston.
Loving son of the late Edward J. and Mary Ellen (King) Anthony.
Dear brother of Helen Hoffman, Winifred Caristo, and the late Rita, Claire, Edward, William, Phyllis and Jacqueline.
Cherished grandfather of Michael Anthony of Miami Florida, Lawrence L. Anthony III of Danvers, Laura Nichols of Framingham, Carrie Brangiforte and her husband Phil of East Boston, and Tracey Fenner of Waltham, as well as 5 adored great grandchildren and many fond nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday December 7th at 7:45am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 9:00am. Visiting hours are on Friday December 6th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Lawrence was born in East Boston in 1921 and remained a life long resident. He graduated from East Boston High School. Lawrence was a veteran of WWII serving in Battery C 241st C.A.(HD) "Tigers" US Army where he attained the rank of Sgt. Major. He was the past Chairman of the Rating Board for Veteran Administration Boston and retired after 37 years service. Lawrence was a life member of VFW Beachmont Post 6712 where he was a Veterans Service officer, and a member of D.A.V. Leo was an avid dancer and was regularly seen dancing with his wife Phyllis at Beachmont VFW on Saturday nights. But most of all... "He was our Hero". He passed away after a brief illness at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

Robert S. Apicco
November 3, 1950 - January 2, 2002
Apicco - Robert S. of East Boston, formerly of Revere, suddenly on Wednesday January 2, 2002.
Father of Erica A. Rago and her husband James of Revere, and Stephen R. Apicco of Winthrop.
Loving son of Mary C. (Delia) Apicco of East Boston and the late Michael Apicco. Brother of James M. Apicco of Westford, and AnnMarie Wohlman of San Jose, California.
Former husband of Evelyn Barletta of Winthrop.
Also survived by his grandson Evan as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert was born in Winthrop in 1950. For the last few years he worked as a distributor of the Boston Globe, and previously as a salesman for women's shoes. Robert died suddenly at home. He was 51 years old.

Edith Arena
April 10, 1911 - May 7, 2004
Arena - Edith (Columbo) of Orient Heights in East Boston passed away on Friday May 7th, 2004 in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of 75 years to the late Joseph Arena who predeceased her on January 30th of this year.
Devoted mother of Frances Ristaino and her husband Louis of East Boston, and Maryjane Orlandello and her husband Anthony of Lynnfield.
Cherished grandmother of Camille Ristaino, Louis Ristaino Jr., Gloria Sampson, Faith Smith, Jane Orlandello, Toni Anne Orlandello, and Lois Murphy. Adored great grandmother to 5 great grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.
Dear sister to 2 brothers and 3 sisters who all predeceased her.

Edith was born in Maynard, Massachusetts in 1911. She was a homemaker and mother. Edith passed away after a brief illness at Winthrop Place in Winthrop. She was 93 years of age.

Beloved husband of 75 years to Edith "Eda" (Columbo) Arena.
Devoted father of Frances Ristaiano and her husband Louis of East Boston, and Maryjane Orlandello and her husband Anthony of Lynnfield.
Dear brother of Susan Ferrioli of Winthrop, Anthony Arena of New Jersey, Frances Arena of Revere, and the late Charles Arena and Samuel Arena.
Cherished grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Joseph was born in Boston's North End in 1910. He was a past employee of the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture, and past president of the Mutual Clerks Guild, Suffolk Downs and Foxoboro Racetracks. Joseph was a former District Deputy and State Deputy of Knights of Columbus; past Grand Knight St. Francis Council 2962; past Master 4th Degree Bishop Healy Province; former Faithful Navigator Bishop Cheverus Assembly; and late Knight of the Holy Sepulcher. Joseph passed away after a brief illness at the Boston Medical Center. He was 93 years of age.
