Anthony Porcaro
September 2, 1919 - May 17, 2001
Porcaro - Anthony of East Boston on Thursday May 17, 2001. Beloved husband of 58 years of Mary (Mazzarella). Devoted father of John Porcaro and his wife Susann of Billerica, Debbie Fisher and her husband Howard of East Boston, and Patricia Leone and her husband Frankie Jr. of East Boston. Dear brother of Rose, Emilio, Agnes and Edward Porcaro all of East Boston, and the late John Porcaro. Cherished grandfather of Michael and his wife Geniene, Lauren, Jason and Frankie. Also survived by two great grandchildren Mikayla and Daniel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday May 21 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Mary Star of the Sea Church, 63 Moore Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm on both days.
Anthony was born in Boston in 1919 and was a life long resident of East Boston. He worked for many years at the Lewis Candy Company, and in recent years he did maintenance work for the Don Orione Home and the East Boston Savings Bank. Anthony was aged 82 and died after a long illness at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Precopio - Catherine Ann of East Boston on Thursday June 7, 2001. Loving daughter of the late Leo and Marie (Rizzo) Precopio. Dear sister of Vito and his wife Elizabeth (Wirth) Precopio of Wilmington, Frank Precopio of Florida, and the late Concetta, Philomenia, Rocco, Natale and Mario. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Catherine was born in East Boston in 1922 and remained a lifelong resident. She died at home after a brief illness. Catherine was 79 years old.

Dear sister of Lucy DeMattia, Jennie Manfra, Anthony 'Harry' Zozzi, all of East Boston, and the late Annie Pedone and Mary Zozzi. Loving grandmother of John, Leanne and the late Tracey Tosto. Cherished great grandmother of Danielle, Dominique, Jonathan and Ryan.

Nicolina was born in Boston in 1917 and remained a lifelong resident of East Boston. She was a home-maker and her beloved husband Joseph passed away in 1976. Nicolina was 84 years old and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.

Loving father of Joan Delaney of Brockton. Devoted step-father of Donald Manfra and Sandy Dicato, both of Winthrop, and George Manfra of Malden.
Dear brother of Jeanette Corrao of Wisconsin and John Ragusa of Holbrook MA. Also lovingly survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Joseph was born in Boston in 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Frances Ragusa. He received many awards and commendations as a Navy veteran of WWII serving on the USS Pandemus. Joseph retired from Ryder trucking in Stoneham where he worked as a diesel mechanic, and excelled in his retirement hobby of woodcarving. He was a life member of the Revere VFW Post 6712, a member of Winthrop Lodge of Elks #1078, and was formerly a volunteer cameraman with Malden Community Access Television. Joseph passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. He was 75 years old.
