Lena C. Alves, 80, died Friday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born in Stoughton, she was a longtime resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools. She worked at Plymouth Rubber in Canton for many years and retired in 1985. She was a member of the Rubberworkers Union. Miss Alves also attended hairdressing school in Brockton. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and going out with friends on Friday nights.
She is survived by her sisters, Virginia of Stoughton, Filomena Alves-Amado of Hanson, and Henrietta McGarvey of NJ and her brother Henry Alves of Brockton. She is also survived by her stepmother Maria Batista of Stoughton and 8 nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
EGIDIO "EDDY" DeFELICE

Egidio "Eddy" DeFelice, 90, died Thursday at the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Norwood after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Mary (Lepro) DeFelice. Born in Dedham, he moved to Italy at age 2 and was raised and educated there. He moved back to the US at age 19. Mr. DeFelice was a proud member of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) during the Roosevelt Administration. Mr. DeFelice worked at Draper Bros. in Canton for many years. Prior to that, he worked at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy. Mr. DeFelice also worked for his son Ed during the early days of his business, Color It Green Landscaping. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Stoughton, the Wednesday Senior Bowling League in Stoughton, and the Immaculate Conception Church. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, bowling, gardening, music, aviation and hunting.
He is survived by his children; Edward J. and his wife Lorraine of Stoughton, Nancy White and her husband Robert of Easton and Barbara A. DiBona of Easton. He was the grandfather of Edward J. DeFelice Jr., Joel DeFelice, Timothy DiBona and Richard DiBona.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 5-8 PM. Donations in Eddy's memory may be made in honor of his wife Mary to the Alzheimer's Assn, 36 Cameron Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
PAUL C. McSHANE

Paul C. McShane, 89, died Sunday, July 6 at the Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. He was the husband of Helen A. (Walsh) McShane. Born in Roxbury, he was the son of Michael and Anna (Carroll) McShane. He was a graduate of Mission High School and attended MIT. During World War II, Mr. McShane was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. The Bronze Star was bestowed to him for bravery in the face of danger when he saved several men in his platoon from enemy fire. A Brockton resident since 1982 and a 25 year resident of Brighton, Mr. McShane was employed by the City of Boston Health Inspection Department as a Health Inspector in addition to over 20 years as a U.S. Postal Worker in Boston.
In addition to his wife Helen, Mr. McShane is survived by his children, Carol A. McShane Ferriero and her husband Thomas of Needham, Paul McShane and his wife Amy of Norton, and Jeanne McShane Waller and her husband Jay of Brockton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John Paul, Jennifer and Joseph Waller and Nicole Ferriero, as well as his sister, Virginia Bowes of Saugus and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Florence McShane and Evelyn Mearns and his brother, Edward McShane.

KATHLEEN M. "KAY" (MARTIN) CAMPBELL

Kathleen M. "Kay" (Martin) Campbell, 76, died at her sons home in Sandwich on Sunday, July 6 after a short period of failing health. She was the wife of Robert J. Campbell for 54 years. Born in Mission Hill to Irish immigrants, Catherine (Slattery) and Bernard Martin, she was class valedictorian of the Mission High Class of 1944 and was active in planning reunions. She has resided in Stoughton for 54 years. Mrs. Campbell was a credit manager for TF Earley & Sons in Stoughton for 20 years before retiring 15 years ago. She was a former Stoughton Town Meeting Member and was active in Stoughton town politics. She was also a member of the Catholic Women's Guild at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She was also an avid sports fan.
Along with her husband Robert, Mrs. Campbell is survived by her children, Jo-Anne Donahue of Cummaquid, Bruce Campbell of Taunton, Robert J. Campbell, Jr. of Sandwich and Brad J. Campbell and his wife Cheri of Marstons Mills, as well as her sister, Mary Amiro and her husband Ernie of Plymouth. She was the aunt of Claire and Nick Harris, Keith and Katie Glynn and Edward Petrides. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Bernard Martin.

OTIS P. FORRESTER

Otis P. Forrester, 84, a retired manager, died Saturday, July 5 at home in Stoughton. He was the husband of Carol Ann (Ouellette) and the late Ruth Agnes. Born in Boston, he was a manager at Ace Autobody. In his free time he enjoyed cars and camping.
In addition to his wife Mr. Forrester leaves his sons Lee, Stephen and Richard all of Stoughton, Ronald of Norton, Otis and Kevin both of Brockton, Dennis of Attleboro and Gary of Raynham. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition, he is also survived by his step-children Edward, Debra, James Michael, Robert, and Renee', many step-grandchildren and 1 step-great grandchild.

JANET MARIE BOMBONATO

Janet Marie Bombonato, 55, an accomplished artist, died Tuesday at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a former resident of Montgomery, NY. She was a graduate of Valley Central High School in Montgomery, NY and the Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY. Miss Bombonato was disabled at a young age and was a longtime resident of the Lenox Hill Hospital in Lynn and the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton. Despite her disability, she was a gifted artist who added much color to the world. Janet was a special and honored person loved by many.
She is survived by her mother, Marie (Bisogni) Bombonato. She was the sister of Judy O'Dell and her husband Hank of FL, and the late Joyce, Joanne, Frank and Eugene. She was the aunt of Angelica Rios and her husband Alan of NY. She was the Great Aunt of Alexander, Addison and Azucena Rios. Janet is also survived by her lifelong friends Mo, Philamena, Helena and Peggy.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-7 PM. Burial will be in New York, therefore flowers will not be accepted. CHRISTINE R. (FINLEY) DANCE

Christine R. (Finley) Dance, 90, died Sunday, June 29 at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Randall T. Dance. Born in Chase City, Virginia, Mrs. Dance was educated in Woburn schools and graduated from Woburn High School. She has resided in Stoughton for 20 years after living in Dorchester and Rockland for several years. She worked as a stitcher for Codman Manufacturing in Rockland for many years before retiring 24 years ago.
Mrs. Dance is survived by her daughters, Audrey Rodriques and Christine Hill both of Stoughton, Juanita Lopes of Canton and Edwina Taylor of New Hampshire, as well as her stepchildren, Marie Heath and Muriel Tatum both of Brockton, Marcella Tatum of Mansfield, Charles Dance of Holbrook and Tony Dance of Boston and her sister, Gladys Crutcher of Woburn. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Charles Street AME Church, 551 Warren St., Boston on Wednesday from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery
in Stoughton.
WILLIAM C. PEARSON

William C. Pearson, 80, died on Friday, June 27 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a short illness. He was the husband of Geraldine C. (Lyons) Pearson. Born and educated in Boston, Mr. Pearson has resided in Stoughton for 36 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He worked as a supervisor of mechanics for the Boston-New Haven Railroad and then AMTRAK in Readville and South Station for 42 years before retiring in 1987.
In addition to his wife Geraldine, Mr. Pearson is survived by his brother, Edward Pearson of Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his brothers John Pearson and Joseph Pearson.

ARTHUR P. SULLIVAN

Arthur P. Sullivan, 85, died at home in Avon on Sunday, June 22, after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Mary T. (Clancy) Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was born and grew up in Dorchester. He resided in Avon for the past 5 years after living in Stoughton for 36 years.
He is survived by his children, Margie Delaney and her husband Stu of Avon, Eleanor Sullivan of S. Boston and Kathy Leary and her husband Brian of Canton as well as his grandchildren, Linda Snyder, Bridget Wade, Katie Quilitzsch, Brian Leary, Patrick Delaney and Kevin Delaney. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Maggie, Billy, Dana and Molly, his sister, Eleanor Devin of West Roxbury and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary T. (Clancy) Sullivan and his brothers Daniel, Francis, Howard and George Sullivan.

MATTHEW S. MOFFITT

Matthew S. Moffitt, 19, died unexpectedly on Wednesday night after being involved in an automobile accident in Easton. Born in Boston, he was a resident of Stoughton for the past 6 years and attended Stoughton Schools. Mr. Moffitt enjoyed playing video games and playing his bass guitar.
He is survived by his parents; Marie (Moffitt) Schneider and Eric Schneider of Stoughton. He was the brother of Cheyenne Moffitt, Michael Mears and Nicholas Schneider all of Stoughton. He is also survived by his godparents Sarah & Cito Colon of Puerto Rico.
