Funeral Mass: Thursday, March 27, 2003, 10 AM, St. Basil's Chapel at Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater.
Eva E. (Yannone), 90, died Sunday at the LifeCare Center in W. Bridgewater after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Leo O. Proulx. Born in Narragansett, RI, she was a graduate of Brockton Schools. Mrs. Proulx worked as an assembler for the Foxboro Company in E. Bridgewater. Prior to that she worked for over 20 years at Alden Products in Brockton. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Terese O'Connor of Bridgewater and Marianne LaCroix of Brockton. Mrs. Proulx was the Mother in Law of Paul O'Connor and Eugene LaCroix. She was the sister of Arthur Yannone of Brockton and the late Theresa Castano, George Yannone, Joseph Yannone and John Yannone. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Basil's Chapel at the Catholic Center of Bridgewater State College at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Eva's memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, 02115.

ELIZABETH R. "BETTY" (CIVITARESE) SMIGLIANI
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, March 25, 2003, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, March 26, 2003, 10 AM, St. James Church, 560 Page Street, Stoughton.
Elizabeth R. "Betty" (Civitarese) Smigliani, 89, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Saturday at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Paul Smigliani. Born in Boston, she was raised in Hyde Park and a graduate of Hyde Park Schools. Mrs. Smigliani was a longtime resident of Hyde Park and also lived in Sharon before moving to Stoughton. She worked as a Sales Clerk at Marshalls for many years and retired 13 years ago. Mrs. Smigliani enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her three children: Pauline (Toti) DePietro and her husband Michael of FL, Lorraine Foxx and her husband Thomas of Stoughton, and Paul Smigliani and his wife Mary of CA. She was predeceased by her son Ralph. Also survived by her daughter in law Gina Smigliani Grimaldi of Easton, 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. VIRGINIA V. (VERHAULT) GERBICK

Funeral Services: Monday, March 25, 2003, 11: 30 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Virginia V. (Verhault) Gerbick, 74, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Thursday at her home. Born in Bronx, NY, she was a graduate of Bronx Schools. Mrs. Gerbick worked for Pioneer Cooperative Bank in Stoughton for many years and and previously worked for John Hancock in Boston. She retired 19 years ago. Mrs. Gerbick enjoyed spending time with her children and family. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and her craft club.
She is survived by her children: Paul W. Gerbick of N. Attleboro, Lawrence J. Gerbick of Salem, NH and Veronica Glynn of Sturbridge. She was the sister of Robert Verhault of Stoneham and the late Stephen Verhault. Mrs. Gerbick was the grandmother of Emily, Caroline, Abigail, Sarah, Lauren and Lisa Gerbick, Michael Glynn and Stephen Glynn.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street, (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 11: 30 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Paul Gerbick Fund, c/o A. L. S. Therapy Development Foundation, 44 Glen Ave, Newton, MA 02459. Burial will be at Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton.

JOAN A. (BARRUS) McCLOUD
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, June 17, 2003, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, June 18, 2003, 10 AM, St. James Church, 560 Page Street, Stoughton.
Joan A. (Barrus) McCloud, 66, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 14 at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. She was the wife of the late Edward F. McCloud. Born and educated in Dorchester, Mrs. McCloud has resided in Middleboro for the past year after living in Holbrook for 4 years and Canton for over 20 years. She was a housewife at home with her family. In her free time she enjoyed playing KENO and spending time with her family.
Mrs. McCloud is survived by her children, Edward S. McCloud and his wife Nancy and Stephen E. McCloud and his wife Linda all of Canton, Mark McCloud and his wife Marcia of W. Bridgewater, Joseph McCloud of Berkley, Michael McCloud of S. Boston, Marilyn Hart and her husband Edward of Middleboro and Matthew McCloud of W. Bridgewater. She is also survived by her brother, Earl Barrus of Quincy, her sister, Marilyn Johnson of S. Boston, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

PEDRO JUAN GONZALEZ
Visiting Hours: Friday, June 20, 2003, 5-7 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 21, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Pedro Juan Gonzalez, 39, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Friday, June 13. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Michigan, Mr. Gonzalez has resided in Stoughton for 16 years. He was a carpenter for several years and worked the past 2 years for Easton Kitchen and Bath. Mr. Gonzalez was an avid surfer and skateboarder and he leaves behind many friends and family.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Crampton, USN of Virginia and Nicholas J. Moore of Stoughton, his parents, Joanne Gonzalez of Michigan and Dr. Rafael Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, his brothers, Raphael of North Carolina and Jose of Nevada, his sisters, Ginny McGannon of Illinois and Julie Austin of Colorado and his granddaughter, Alyssa Marie of Virginia. He is also survived by his cousins, David, Gerri and Katherine Rodriguez, Elizabeth Visser and Bridget Fraiser and his beloved friends, Susan, John and Foxx Moore, Herbert and the late Karl Gustafson all of Stoughton.
Funeral will be held from the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Pedro's memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 686 N. Main St., Brockton, 02301.

MARIA E. (GAVA) PORTELLO
Visiting Hours: Sunday, June 15, 2003, 6-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, June 16, 2003, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Maria E. (Gava) Portello, 90, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, June 12. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Portello. Born and educated in Italy, Mrs. Portello moved to Stoughton in 1969. She worked as a presser at David Clothing in Brockton for several years before retiring 20 years ago. She was a member of the Daughters of Italy in Stoughton. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Portello is survived by her children, Luigi Portello and his wife Diana of Hamilton, NJ and Maria Rosa Oggiano of Stoughton as well as her grandchildren, Robert L. Portello, Richard H. Portello, Lori Ann Tyger, Francesco Oggiano and Nicolo Oggiano. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 6-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Maria's memory may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

JEANNE A. (SAVAGE) DARCY

Funeral Mass: Monday, June 16, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Jeanne A. (Savage) Darcy, 79, died Thursday, June 12 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Clifford J. Darcy. Born and educated in Bronx, NY, Mrs. Darcy has resided in Stoughton for the past 10 years after living in Holbrook for over 30 years. She was a supervisor for the Dept. of Public Welfare in Brockton for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 17 years before retiring many years ago. Mrs. Darcy was a member of the Massachusetts State Workers Union and donated time to the Home for Little Wanderers. In her free time she enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Darcy is survived by her children, Maureen A. D'Amore of Brockton, Kevin T. Darcy of Stoughton and Brian E. Darcy of Marshfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael C. Darcy and her sister, Conradine McSweeney.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. JANNIE LEE (BENNETT) TERRY
Visiting Hours: Sunday, June 15, 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service: Monday, June 16, 10 AM, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant Street, Brockton.
Jannie Lee (Bennett) Terry, 65, died Wednesday, June 11 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a lengthy illness. Born in Kinston, NC, she was educated in New Jersey schools and graduated from Delaware State College, Class of 1964. She has resided in Stoughton for over 30 years. Ms. Terry was a school teacher in Boston Public Schools for 23 years before retiring in 1992. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Ms. Terry is survived by her daughter, Charlene J. Terry of Stoughton, and her sisters, Mary L. Hook of New Jersey and Rachel D. Bennett of Stoughton. She is also survived by her former husband, Joseph Terry of Stoughton and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant St., Brockton on Monday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday from 5-7 PM. Donations in Jannie's memory may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, 02215. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

BEATRICE (RODRIGUES) AGUIAR
Visiting Hours: Friday, June 6, 6-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 7, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Beatrice (Rodrigues) Aguiar, 96, died Thursday, June 5 at Milton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late John Aguiar. Born and educated in Madeira, Portugal, she has resided in Stoughton since 1951. She worked as a trimmer at Plymouth Rubber Co. in Canton for many years before retiring over 30 years ago. She was a member of the Portuguese National Club in Stoughton.
Mrs. Aguiar is survived by her children, Celeste Beatrice Aguiar of Venezuela, John Aguiar, Beatrice Cedonia Moura and Zita Moura all of Toronto, Canada, Avelino "Al" Aguiar and Augustine "Gus" Aguiar both of Stoughton, Antonio Aguiar of Rhode Island and Joe Aguiar of Brockton. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 6-9 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

HENRY A. "HANK" NAGLE
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, June 4, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Thursday, June 5, 9 AM, St. Michael's Church, 87 N. Main Street, Avon.
Henry A. "Hank" Nagle, 49, died Monday, June 2 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Ellen R. (Rogers) Nagle. Born in South Boston, Mr. Nagle was educated at St. Augustine's School in S. Boston and Christopher Columbus High School in Boston. He has resided in Avon for 27 years. Mr. Nagle was a Union Carpenter with the Local 33 in Boston and was also a shop steward. He enjoyed discussing current events and politics as well as playing pool.
Along with his wife, Ellen, Mr. Nagle is survived by his sons, Alexander Nagle and Sean Nagle both of Avon, his mother, Anne (Lee) Nagle of Milton and his siblings, Christine Stevenson and Regina Nunez both of Florida, William A. Nagle of Braintree and Kathleen Primiani of Milton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Nagle was preceded in death by his father, William A. Nagle.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, Avon at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Hank's memory may be made to Hospice of Brockton, 500 Belmont St., Brockton, 02301.
