Lucy (DiDonato) Solimine, 80, died late Friday, April 12 at home in Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Carmine Solimine. Born in Boston, Mrs. Solimine grew up and was educated in the North End before moving to Stoughton in 1972. She was a housewife at home with her family. In her free time she was an avid Bingo player at Immaculate Conception Church and Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton.
In addition to her husband Carmine, Mrs. Solimine is survived by her children, Emmy Hornockor of Brockton, Geri Cecon of N. Canton, CT, Theresa Butler of Avon and Mario Solimine of Stoughton, as well as her grandchildren, Leslie, John, Kim, Jamie and Carly and her great-granddaughter, Alexis. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Marinello of Florida and Raffaela "Fannie" DiDonato of New Jersey and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. ILDEFONSO T. LAURON

Ildefonso T. Lauron, 65, died Friday, April 11 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Lucila (Mallari) Lauron. Born in the Philippines, Mr. Lauron has resided in Stoughton for the past 28 years. He was educated at the University of Philippines and University of Bologna in Italy, where he studied music. He received his Masters of Art from the New England Conservatory, where he was also a member of the Alumni Association. Mr. Lauron was the First Foremost Flutist of the Philippines and was a soloist for the Boston Pops. He also was a postal worker at the U.S. Post Office in South Station for 19 years before retiring in 2000. Mr. Lauron was a longtime parishioner and flutist at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton.
Along with his wife Lucila, Mr. Lauron is survived by his children, Ildefonso "Jay" Lauron, Jr. and his wife Jodi of New York and Ligaya L.M. Lauron of Stoughton and her fiancée Chuck Hannaford, as well as his grandson, Avery J. Lauron. Mr. Lauron was 1 of 9 brothers and sisters and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours will be held Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
in Stoughton.
RICHARD T. CHURCHILL

Richard T. Churchill, 81, died early Saturday, April 12 at Easton Lincoln Nursing Home in Easton after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Beth" (Ryder) Churchill. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, Mr. Churchill graduated from Stoughton High School in 1940 and was a member of the Stoughton High Football team. He worked various jobs at Shawmut Mills in Stoughton for 56 years before retiring in 1996. Mr. Churchill was also a lieutenant in the Stoughton Auxiliary Police as well as a security guard at Cumberland Farms in Canton for many years.
Along with his wife Beth, Mr. Churchill is survived by his children, Janice Putnam of Norfolk, Brian Churchill and Matthew Churchill both of Wareham, Barbara Churchill and Beth Churchill both of the West Coast and Jennifer Kelly of Mansfield. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Churchill of Stoughton and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

WINSTON P. HEBB

Winston P. Hebb, 91, died Tuesday, April, 8 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Janet T. (Tinker) Hebb. Born in Johnson, VT, he was a graduate of Johnson, VT schools and the University of Vermont. Mr. Hebb worked for Factory Mutual Insurance in Norwood for many years and retired as the Chief Appraiser. Mr. Hebb was very active in the Stoughton Community. He was a Town Meeting Representative, a former member of the Stoughton Planning Board and a volunteer at the Stoughton Public Library. Mr. Hebb was the Stoughton Library Volunteer of the Year in 2002 for his work with the literacy program. Mr. Hebb was also active at the First United Methodist Church where he was a former trustee of the church. A longtime Mason, Mr. Hebb was a member of the Ancient York Lodge #1689 A.F. & A.M. in Nashua, NH. He was a member of the American Arbitration Association and the American Appraisers Association.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his sons, W. David Hebb of Cambridge and John P. Hebb and his wife Linda of Easton. He was the grandfather of Kathleen, Christopher, Kevin and Molly. He also leaves his brothers; Harry Parker and Everett Parker both of FL and Johnson, VT.
Memorial Services will be held in the First United Methodist Church, 109 Pleasant St., (Rte. 139) Stoughton on Saturday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday from 4-8 PM. Donations in Winston's memory may be sent to the First United Methodist Church at the above address or to the Stoughton Public Library Literacy Program, 84 Park St., Stoughton, 02072. Burial will be private.
PAUL J. GORMAN

Paul J. Gorman, 90, died at Avery Manor Nursing Home in Needham on Wednesday morning, April 9 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Veronica C. "Vera" (Egan) Gorman. Born in New Haven, CT, Mr. Gorman graduated from Hyde Park High School and has resided in Stoughton since 1976. He was a machinist at General Electric in Lynn for many years before retiring in 1976. Mr. Gorman was an avid golfer and member of Ponkapoag Golf Club in Canton.
Mr. Gorman is survived by his sons, John A. Gorman of E. Lyme, CT and Paul F. Gorman of N. Smithfield, RI and his son-in-law, Frank Giroux of Stoughton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Vera, Mr. Gorman was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorraine Giroux.

GERALDINE G. (GROVER) KANE

Geraldine G. (Grover) Kane, 80, died at home in Stoughton on Friday, April 4 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Kane. Born and educated in Randolph, she was a graduate of Stetson High School in Randolph. Mrs. Kane worked at Bank of Boston many years ago before being at homemaker at home with her family. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother years ago.
Mrs. Kane is survived by her sons, Richard J. Kane, Jr. of New Hampshire and John G. Kane of Stoughton as well as her sister, Priscilla Isenstadt of Hyde Park. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her sister, Constance Ligiquist and her brother, Edward Grover.
Private Services were held at Farley Funeral Home, Stoughton followed by Interment at Milton Cemetery. Donations in Geraldine's memory may be sent to Alzheimer's Assn., 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, 02140-1102.
ANTONIO RIBEIRO

Antonio Ribeiro, 81, died at West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton on Thursday, April 3 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Maria (Franco) Ribeiro. Born and educated in Madeira, Portugal, Mr. Ribeiro moved to Stoughton in 1974. He was a factory worker at Corcoran Shoe and Reliable Steel in Stoughton before retiring several years ago. Mr. Ribeiro was a member of the Portuguese National Club and Immaculate Conception Church both in Stoughton and was a volunteer at the VA Medical Center in Brockton. He was a wonderful father who loved gardening, tending his grape vines, playing cards and dominoes, watching soccer and hockey and spending time with his family.
Along with his wife, Maria, Mr. Ribeiro is survived by his children, Connie Gonsalves, Jose Manuel Ribeiro, Fatima Viveiros, Jose Antonio Ribeiro, Olivia Ramos, Margarida Spinola, John Luis Ribeiro, Emily F. Ribeiro, Rita Dias and Sally Pacheco all of Stoughton, John Afonso Ribeiro of Florida, Paula Sylvia of Brockton, Grace Gibbons and Paul Ribeiro both of New Hampshire, as well as his sister, Matilde Teixeira of Madeira, Portugal. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren, including Matthew Spinola, his caretaker.

Faustina (Di Mascio) Volpe, 90, died early Saturday March 29 at St. Joseph's Manor Nursing Home in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Cesidio Volpe. Born in Pettorano, Abruzzi, Italy, Mrs. Volpe resided in Stoughton since 1970. She worked as seamstress for Davis Clothing in Brockton for many years before retiring 25 years ago.
Mrs. Volpe is survived by her daughter, Selia Meschieri of Introdacqua, Italy, her sons, Raffaele "Ralph" Volpe of Braintree, Sisto Volpe of Brockton, Frank Volpe of Acton, Pasquale "Pat" Volpe of Palm City, FL, Marco Volpe of Needham, and her brother, Guido DiMascio of Braintree. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Cesidio, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margherita Colasante, as well as her brothers, Frank Di Mascio, Joseph Di Mascio, Panfilo "Benny" Di Mascio, Antonio Di Mascio, Domenico Di Mascio and Pierino Di Mascio and her sisters, Concetta Di Mascio, Loretta Di Mascio, Filomena Di Mascio and Assunta Di Mascio

M. Geraldine (Kelly) Larkin, 85, died early Saturday, March 29 at Baypointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Larkin. Born in Boston, she graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Roxbury and attended Boston University. Mrs. Larkin resided in Easton for 3 years after living in Stoughton for 40 years. She was an office manager at Bonded Dodge in Canton and Walter Earl Chevrolet in Bridgewater for many years before retiring in 1991. Mrs. Larkin was active in St. James Parish in Stoughton and was a member of the Stoughton Town Meeting and the Finance Committee as well as the Cedar Hill Golf Club in Stoughton.
Mrs. Larkin is survived by her daughter, Jean-Marie Larkin of Easton, her sisters, Kathleen E. Ryan of Watertown, Therese M Petrauskas of N. Chelmsford and Agnes A.M. Kapus of S. Boston and her brother, Francis T. Kelley of Brockton. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Barbara Kelly and Gertrude Kelly as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband Joseph, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lucinda F. Kelley, and her brothers, James P. Kelly, Jr., William J. Kelly and Richard A. Kelly.

MARY T. (CLANCY) SULLIVAN

Mary T. (Clancy) Sullivan, 84, died at home in Avon on Wednesday, March 26 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Arthur P. Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan was born and grew up in Dorchester and was educated at the Dorchester High School for Girls. She resided in Avon for the past 5 years after living in Stoughton for 36 years. She worked as a bank teller at Shawmut Bank in Boston for 20 years before retiring many years ago.
Along with her husband Arthur, she is survived by her children, Margie Delaney and her husband Stu of Avon, Eleanor Sullivan of S. Boston and Kathy Leary and her husband Brian of Canton as well as her grandchildren, Linda Snyder, Bridget Wade, Katie Quilitzsch, Brian Leary, Patrick Delaney and Kevin Delaney. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Maggie, Billy, Dana and Molly, her sister, Margaret Ryley of Sandwich and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and James Clancy.
