November 24, 1968 - July 23, 2003

Kjersgard - James Timothy of Orient Heights East Boston, passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 23rd, 2003 at the age of 34 years.

Loving son of Carol (Lovering) Kjersgard of East Boston.

Devoted father of Christopher Kjersgard of Winthrop, and Christine Kjersgard of East Boston.

Dear brother of Robert Kjersgard, Detective Boston Police Department, and his wife Nancy of East Boston, John Kjersgard and his wife Christi of New Hampshire, formerly of East Boston, and Lisa Kjersgard of East Boston.

Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday July 26th at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 63 Moore Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

James was born in Boston in 1968 and attended East Boston schools. He was a life-long resident of East Boston.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children's lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with James being laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

John G. Kovacev

June 18, 1954 - April 6, 2004

Kovacev - John G. of Orient Heights East Boston, on Tuesday April 6th, 2004 at 49 years of age.

Loving son of the late John and Dorothy (Guarino) Kovacev.

Dear brother of Maureen Lespasio, Sharon DelMuto and her husband Alfred "Fred", all of East Boston.

Former husband of Ann (Mack) Kovacev of Winthrop.

Cherished uncle of Frankie, Holly, Alfred III, Justin and Dimitri. Fond great uncle of Damian and AJ.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday April 9th at 9:00am. Blessing in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 63 Moore Street, East Boston at 10:00am.

Visiting hours are on Thursday April 8th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

John was born in East Boston in 1954. He attended local schools at graduated from East Boston High School. He worked as a dental technician for local dentists, most recently at Precise Dental Care. John passed away after a brief illness at the Beth-Israel Deacon Medical Center, West Campus. He was aged 49 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 12 Kent Way, Suite 101, Byfield, MA 01922.

Leonora "Lee" E. LaGrassa (Walbourne)

August 11, 1956 - August 24, 2002

LaGrassa - Leonora "Lee" E. of East Boston on Saturday August 24th, 2002 at the age of 46 years.

Beloved wife of James LaGrassa. Devoted mother of Jamie LaGrassa, Steven LaGrassa and Marlena LaGrassa, all of East Boston.

Loving daughter of the late Leonard and Lena (DeRosa) Walbourne. Dear sister of Leonard Walbourne Jr. of Winthrop, Larry Walbourne of South Carolina, Leo Walbourne of Woburn, and Louis Walbourne of Medford.

Cherished daughter-in-law of Phil and Mary (Memmolo) LaGrassa of East Boston. Also survived by many fond aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Tuesday August 27 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Brooks Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Monday August 26 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Leonora, or 'Lee' as most people knew her, was born in Boston in 1956. She worked as an Assistant Librarian at the East Boston High School. Lee passed away at home on Saturday after a courageous battle with cancer.

Memorial donations in Lee's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 102454, Atlanta GA 30368-2454.

Josephine LaMarco

April 23, 1929 - November 18, 2004

LaMarco - Josephine (DiRampio) of Orient Heights in East Boston, formerly of Revere, on Thursday November 18th, 2004.

Beloved wife of the late Charles LaMarco.

Devoted mother of James Cady and his wife Diane of Woburn, Thomas Cady and his wife Donna of Holliston, and the late Mary Louise Steele.

Cherished grandmother of Brenda Jean Fieler and her husband Richard of Hudson N.H., Michael Scott Steele of Dracut, and Rick Steele of Burlington, and great grandmother of Richard Fieler Jr. of Hudson N.H.

Loving sister of Rosie Kiss of Las Vegas, Dominic DiRampio of Florida, and the late Anna and John Hogan, and Albert DiRampio.

Dear friend of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Carter of Orient Heights, East Boston, and the D'Amato family. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday November 21st at the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston commencing with visiting hours from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.. A Service in our chapel will immediately follow visitation at 6:00pm officiated by Father John Kilmartin, FDP. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Josephine was born in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1929 and lived in Revere for many years before moving to East Boston. She was a former employee with One Source Cleaning Co. at Logan Airport, and a member of the Courageous Generation at her church. Josephine passed away peacefully at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. She was 75 years of age.
