Hitchcock - Raymond L. of Orient Heights East Boston, passed away on Thursday July 31st, 2003.
Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary J. (Femia) Hitchcock.
Devoted father of Lynne Novia and her husband Rocco of Winthrop, Judy Compagnone and her husband Frank "Campy" of Peabody, Dawna Vichnick and her husband Jeffrey of Peabody, and the late Raymond Hitchcock Jr.
Dear brother of Bertha Drew of Wilmington, Terry Yarter of Florida, Eileen Thebeau of Wilmington, and the late Harold Hitchcock, Joan Balcom, and Richard Hitchcock.
Cherished grandfather of six grandchildren and also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday morning August 4th at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Raymond was born in Boston in 1924 and worked for Raytheon for more than 40 years. He passed away at home after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family. He was 78 years old.

John R. Hogan

Hogan - John R. of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, on Saturday March 10, 2001. Beloved husband of Virginia T. (Scarfo) Hogan. Devoted father of Geraldine McNamee of Burlington and Gerald DiFranza of Winthrop. Dear brother of the late Rita Melville. Adored grandfather of Virginia McGrory of Hudson, NH. Special greatgrandfather of Emma and Theresa McGrory. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Tuesday March 13 at 10:00am. Funeral Mass in St.John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop Street, Winthrop at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Monday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
John, aged 87 years, was born in Rockland, Massachusetts in 1914. He served his country in the US Navy and was a veteran of WWII. John worked as an Instructor at the Boston City Hospital for many years and lived in Winthrop for the last 30 years after moving there from East Boston. He was formerly a 3rd Degree of St.Francis Council in the North End. John passed away after a brief illness at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Virginia Theresa Hogan

Beloved wife of the late John Hogan.
Devoted mother of Gerald DiFranza of Winthrop and Geraldine McNamee of Burlington.
Loving daughter of the late Nicodemo and Geraldine (Caristo) Scarfo.
Dear sister of Remo Scarfo of Burlington, Patricia Montana of Middleboro and the late Phillip, Eugene and Edmund Scarfo.
Cherished grandmother of Joseph McNamee of East Boston and Virginia McGrory of Norfolk, and great grandmother of Emma Caitlin and Theresa Rose. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews..

Virginia was born in Italy in 1918 and came to the United States at only 3 years of age. She worked for many years as a systems analyst with John Hancock Insurance Co. Virginia passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. She was 87 years of age.

Ronald Edward Hurley Sr.
February 10, 1939 - December 31, 2002
Hurley - Ronald Edward Sr. of Waltham on Tuesday December 31st, 2002.
Devoted father of Ronald Hurley Jr. of Belmont.
Dear brother of Dorothy Petersen of Randolph, and Gerald Hurley of Stoneham.
Cherished grandfather of Cody David.
A period of visitation will be held on Saturday morning January 4th, 2003 in the Bigelow Chapel in the grounds of the Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge from 9:30am to 11:00am. A service will follow visitation, officiated by Father John Kilmartin.
Ronald was born in Somerville in 1939. He served his country in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Ronald worked for many years as a security guard, most recently for Allied Security. He passed away after a brief illness at the Waltham Hospital. He was aged 63 years.
