Donald H. Carr, 82
Centerville - Donald H. Carr, 82, a resident of Centerville, died March 9, 2002, at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
Born and raised in Taunton, where he lived until 1947, Mr. Carr graduated from Taunton High School. He received his college education from Suffolk University and Suffolk Law School.
In 1941, he enlisted in the Army and served during World War II as a military policeman until 1945.
Mr. Carr moved to Cape Cod in 1947. He was an attorney at law in Barnstable from 1951 to 1961. He became a Realtor in Barnstable in 1961 until his retirement.
He was a member of the American Bar Association, Broadway-Pilgrim Congregational Church in Taunton and the Federated Church of Hyannis.
Mr. Carr enjoyed the law, reading, drawing, horses, dogs, golf, sports, country music and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Gale Carr of Henderson, Nev.; his former wife, Christine Farber of Hyannis; four grandchildren; four nieces; and four nephews.
He was also the father of the late Diane Carr.
A funeral was held at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home in Hyannis.
Burial followed in Massachusetts National Cemetery
in Bourne.

Jean Clowery, 76
Barnstable - Jean (Lovejoy) Clowery, 76, a lifelong resident of Barnstable, died March 12, 2002, at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
She was the wife of Bryce H. Clowery for 59 years.
Mrs. Clowery worked as a title examiner for more than 50 years for attorneys Henry F. Smith and John Alger, retiring in 1999.
She was a member of the Unitarian Church in Barnstable, and sang in their junior and senior choirs. She later became choir director at the church. Her love for singing led her to become a member of various choral groups throughout Cape Cod.
Mrs. Clowery was past president of the Barnstable Women's Club and the Legal Secretaries Association. She was an avid gardener and was usually found outside.
Surviving besides her husband are a son, Bryce F. "Skip" Clowery of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters, Cheryl Lombardi of Barnstable Village and Joy Tuepker of Centerville; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Elizabeth Jean LeGrand.
A memorial service was held at the Unitarian Church of Barnstable.

Dennis J. Driscoll, 85
Centerville - Dennis J. Driscoll, 85, formerly of Wellesley, died March 11, 2002, at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
He was the husband of Rita M. (Waite) Driscoll.
Born in Boston, Mr. Driscoll graduated from Boston Latin School in 1934, Harvard College in 1938 and Boston College Law School in 1946. He became a member of the Massachusetts bar.
During World War II, he served in the Navy in the South Pacific on Guadalcanal and Bougainville and in the Philippines. He was recalled to the Office of the Secretary of the Navy during the Korean War and retired in 1966 as commanding officer of NRSC 1-1 in Boston, with the rank of commander.
He was director of personnel for B.F. Goodrich (Hood Rubber Co.) in Watertown, where he worked for 30 years until its closing in 1970. He subsequently handled labor relations and negotiations for a number of companies in the Greater Boston area, including Judson Thomson and the Gaulin Co.
He served as a director of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Boston, chairman of the Salvation Army's Watertown Service Unit and a director of the Intake Division of Family Services of Greater Boston.
Mr. Driscoll moved to Centerville in 1980. He enjoyed his retirement on Cape Cod as well as traveling, golf, gardening and his family.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Dennis J. Driscoll Jr. of Lebanon, N.H.; a daughter, Rita Driscoll of Braintree; and a granddaughter.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville.
Burial was in Massachusetts National Cemetery
in Bourne.

Bernard F. Fitzpatrick Sr., 88
Marstons Mills - Bernard F. Fitzpatrick Sr., 88, a resident of Marstons Mills, died March 11, 2002, at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
He was the husband of Clara B. (Amadon) Fitzpatrick, who died in 1979.
Born in Worcester, he lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Cape Cod.
He was a machinist for the Rice-Barton Co. of Worcester for 40 years, retiring in 1978. He returned to the company as a security guard until 1999. Mr. Fitzpatrick was an avid sports fan and a race fan. He also enjoyed playing cards.
He is survived by a son, Bernard F. Fitzpatrick Jr. of Danbury, Conn.; a daughter, C. Patricia Sylvester of Templeton; a sister, Mary LaVoie of Spencer; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. John's Church in Worcester.
Burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
Zena K. Forant, 44
West Barnstable - Zena K. Forant, 44, a resident of West Barnstable, died March 11, 2002.
She was the wife of Mark P. Forant.
Mrs. Forant was born in Trinidad. Family, friends and home were important to her.
Surviving besides her husband are two stepsons, Matthew Forant and Daniel Forant; six siblings, Affrose, Affesa, Feroza, Zabeda, Zaid and Zee; a godson, Andrew; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at the Unitarian Church in Barnstable.
Daniel L. Goodell, 85
Hyannis - Daniel L. Goodell, 85, a resident of Hyannis, died March 9, 2002, at Eagle Pond Rehabilitation and Living Center in South Dennis.
He was the husband of the late Rita C. (Hutchins) Goodell. They were married in 1938.
Mr. Goodell was born in Bingham, Maine. At the age of 8, he went to the Goodwill School for Children in Hinckley, Maine, where he was educated and met his future wife.
He worked for REA Express Delivery Service from 1932 to 1970, retiring as a manager.
Mr. Goodell lived at YCGA (Yarmouth Camp Grounds Association) as a year-round resident since 1971. He enjoyed helping his neighbors with their daily chores. He was past treasurer of the association and was a Mason.
Before moving to YCGA, he lived in West Hartford, Conn., Exeter, N.H., and Portland, Maine.
He is survived by a son, Daniel H. Goodell of Norwich, Conn.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was also the father of the late Katherine A. Robidoux.
A funeral was held at Hallett Funeral Home in South Yarmouth.
Burial followed in Chandler Gray Cemetery
in West Yarmouth.
Lawrence B. 'Larry' Lefort, 76
Hyannis - Lawrence B. "Larry" Lefort, 76, a resident of Hyannis, died March 15, 2002, at his home following a brief illness.
He was the husband of Lucy C. (Travers) Lefort.
Mr. Lefort was born in Brockton and was a longtime resident of Easton before moving to Hyannis in 1984.
He was a Navy and Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a hospital aide at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Brockton for 30 years, and was a member of the VFW in Hyannis.
Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Cheri Gillespie of Sandy Hook, Conn., and Karen Silevicz of Bridgewater; a son, Timothy Lefort of Easton; a sister, Virginia Griswold of Edgewater, Fla.; two brothers, Earle Lefort of Brockton and Raymond Lefort of Easton; and eight grandchildren.
He was also the father of the late Michael Lefort.
A Mass was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church in Easton. Burial was in South Easton Cemetery.

Evelyn M. 'Lynnie' LePage
Centerville - Evelyn M. "Lynnie" LePage, a resident of Centerville, died March 10, 2002, at the Greenery in Hyannis after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Anthony J. LePage.
Mrs. LePage was born and educated in England. She moved to New York City as a young adult, where she met her husband and was married. After her husband's death in 1965, she moved to Centerville.
She worked in the New York fashion industry as a hand and glove model. After her marriage, she devoted herself to raising her children and volunteering with the Red Cross.
On Cape Cod, she worked as a fashion retailer in Hyannis for The Dunbars and Beverley's. After her retirement, she worked at Our Lady of the Assumption Rectory for a number of years.
Mrs. LePage was very active in the Catholic Church and was a communicant at Our Lady of the Assumption. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a mentor and friend to many in her neighborhood.
She is survived by a daughter, Joy Segura of Provincetown; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was also the mother of the late Pamela J. Kehlenbach.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Osterville.
Burial followed in Mosswood Cemetery
in Cotuit.
