Andrew J. Pulit, 22
West Barnstable - Andrew John Pulit, 22, a resident of West Barnstable, died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a car-motorcycle accident.
Born in Hyannis, he was educated in the Barnstable school system, graduating from Barnstable High School in 1995. He attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst for three years and was scheduled to enter his senior year at Bridgewater State College in September, where he was majoring in criminal justice.
Andrew had hoped to enter the law enforcement field.
While in high school, he was a member of the track team and active in the YMCA.
A lifeguard in West Barnstable, he also served as a lifeguard at several Cape area beaches. He loved surfing, music and motorcycles.
He was a member of the West Yarmouth Congregational Church, their Church Youth Group and Bell Choir.
He is survived by his parents, John Pulit, Jr. and Janet Vernon Pulit of West Barnstable; a brother, Daniel Pulit of West Barnstable; his maternal grandmother, Beatrice Vernon of Nashua, N.H.; his paternal grandmother, Emma Pulit of Madison, Conn.; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Peterson.

Claire E. (Condron) Shea, 64
Centerville - Claire E. (Condron) Shea, 64, died Wednesday, August 18, 1999 at her home.
She was the wife of Paul J. Shea for 39 years.
Born, raised and educated in Westfield, Mrs. Shea also graduated from American International College in Springfield. She lived in Wellesley for 17 years and spent the last 10 years in Centerville.
Mrs. Shea was employed by the Diocese of Fall River as an administrator for Catholic Social Services in Hyannis. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville.
Surviving besides her husband are two sisters, Katherine A. Hamilton of West Springfield and Mary F. Condron of Westfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Westfield.

Irene M. Sinnett, 81
Marstons Mills - Irene M. (Demianof) Sinnett, 81, a Cape resident since 1984, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999 at the Cape Regency Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Centerville.
She was the wife of Harvey F. Sinnett.
Born in New York City, Mrs. Sinnett was a graduate of Cathedral High School and also graduated in 1947 from Lennox Hill Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse.
Mrs. Sinnett worked in various hospitals and firms as a registered nurse in New York and Boston. She also worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Massachusetts in Boston as a claims examiner and in utilization review. She retired in 1979.
She was a resident of Wakefield for 33 years before moving to Marstons Mills in 1984.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Barbara Lee of Reading, England, and Judy Sinnett; a sister, Josephine Sweeney of New York; and two grandchildren.
Burial was in Marstons Mills Cemetery.
Violet Edythe Elise Aikman, 81
Osterville - Violet Edythe Elise (Atkins) Aikman, 81, an actress, writer and musician, died Saturday, August 28, 1999 at the Cape Regency Nursing Home in Centerville after a long illness.
She was the wife of James Donald 'Don' Alexander Aikman for 56 years.
Born and raised in Penetanguishine, Ontario, she lived in Montreal for 41 years.
Mrs. Aikman was an accomplished actress, writer, pianist and vocalist. She performed with several big bands in and around the Montreal area.
She moved to Cape Cod in 1979, where she continued to write. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, cooking and traveling.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey Howard Aikman of Osterville; two daughters, Janie Susan Barber of Hyannisport and Donna Jo-Anne Aikman Polak of Boston and Hyannisport; and three grandchildren.

Nicholas B. 'Nick' Boukalis, 81
Marstons Mills - Nicholas B. "Nick" Boukalis, 81, a retired chef, died Sunday, August 29, 1999 at Falmouth Hospital.
He was the husband of Mary (Powers) Boukalis.
Mr. Boukalis was born and raised in Worcester and then lived in Southbridge for many years. He lived in Marstons Mills for the past 19 years.
A chef for many years, he spent the last 20 years of his career at the Public House in Sturbridge.
Mr. Boukalis was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Centerville, where he was once named "Man of the Year" and helped found the church's Greek festival. He also was a member of the Osterville Rotary Club and was a Paul Harris Fellow.
Besides his wife, Mr. Boukalis is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Southbridge at a later date.

Mary Wieloch, 64
Taylor Mill, Ky. - Mary Wieloch, 64, who leaves a daughter in Centerville, died Tuesday, August 24, 1999 at St. Elizabeth North Hospital.
A resident of Taylor Mill, she formerly lived in Wilmington, N.C., and in Long Island, N.Y.
She was a retired elementary school teacher for the state of New York and a golfing champion at various clubs in New York and North Carolina.
Surviving are three daughters, Susan Flischel of Taylor Mill, Jane Zee Zoufaly of Centerville and Anne Morley of Buford, Ga.; three brothers, Charles Tabaka, Richard Tabaka and Peter Tabaka, all of New Carlisle, Ind.; two sisters, Donna Bremner of Escondido, Calif., and Carol Covelli of New Berling, Wis.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Bernard J. Wieloch, Jr.

Franz X. Weinzierl, 96
Hyannis - Franz X. Weinzierl, 96, a. longtime baker, died Friday, August 27, 1999 at the Greenery Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.
He was the husband of Zenta (Niesslein) Weinzierl, who died in 1954.
Born in Bruck, Germany, he immigrated to the United States in 1954, and lived in Long island, N.Y. In 1973, he moved to Orleans, and settled in Hyannis two years ago.
Mr. Weinzierl worked as a baker.
Surviving are two sons, Johann Weinzierl of Freeport, N.Y., and Heribert Weinzierl of Tarrytown, N.Y.; a daughter, Ann Roscoe of North Eastham; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gladys Williams Anthony, 93
Centerville - Gladys Bronwen Williams Anthony, 93, died Sunday, August 29, 1999 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Robert O. Anthony, who died in 1997.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a 1925 graduate of the Maxwell Training School for Teachers.
She was a first grade teacher for more than 47 years, both in Brooklyn and in Providence, R.I, the latter with the St. Dunstan's Choir School.
She first came to the Cape in 1930, summering with her family in Barnstable during school vacations. She became interested in the Centerville Library as a volunteer; later she became a staff librarian and was elected to the board of directors as assistant treasurer.
For many years, she coordinated the annual membership drive and other fund-raising activities at the library. She conducted the weekly Children's Story Hour and more recently was named Children's Librarian.
When the Donald G. Trayser museum was established in Barnstable, she served as a volunteer attendant and member of the board of directors.
She was active in the Episcopal church in Brooklyn and at St. Martin's Church in Providence, where she was a member of the Altar Guild. She was also active at St. Mary's Church in Barnstable, often serving as a volunteer at parish events.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. Robert Williams Anthony of Westerly, R.I.; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
