She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, January 26, 2007 at St. Marks Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro, for Nannette M. (Marcelonis) Daley. She was the former wife of the late Edward J. Daley, Jr.; mother of MaryJane Russell of Plainville, Joanne DeFilippo of North Attleboro and Kathleen Fayles of Mansfield; sister of Robert Marcelonis of FL and the later Peter Marcelonis. She also leaves 6 grandchildren.

Gaughan, former Superintendent of MCI Bridgewater; mother of Marguerite Peggy McLaughlin and Elizabeth J. Gaughan of Quincy, Gerald L. Gaughan, M.D. of Milton and the late Charles E. Gaughan, M.D.; sister of the late Angela Hart. She also leaves 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Keeley, Sr.; mother of Thomas of Braintree, Deborah White of South Boston, Kevin, Anthony and Colleen Sullivan of Weymouth, Michael of Weymouth, Kathleen Keeley of Quincy, Dorothy Keeley of Dorchester and the late John Keeley, Jr.; sister of Arthur Zaniboni and Dorothy Griffin of Quincy, Anthony Zaniboni and Connie Davis of South Boston and the late Linda Kelly, Beatrice Kelly, Peter and Warren Zaniboni. She also leaves 20 grandchildren and one great grand-daughter and many nieces and nephews.

O'Malley of South Boston; the daughter of the late Della and Michael Santry; the sister of Doris Donovan, Edward and William Santry and the late Marie Flaherty and Thomas and Michael Santry; the mother-in-law of Eileen Mahoney, Timothy Kelleher, Michael Griffin and the late William Daggett; and the friend of the late Louise O'Malley. She was the grandmother of Meghan, Kaitlyn, Colleen and Timothy Kelleher, Kerry Marracco and husband Mark, Edward X. Mahoney, Jr. and wife Shannon, Jennine Nickerson and husband Mark, Michelle Mallon and husband Michael and James Daggett; and the late Patrick X. Mahoney and Billy Daggett.

A funeral mass was said Monday, June 25, 2007 in St. Brigid Church for Thomas P. O'Connell, Jr. He was the husband of Rita (Whalen) O'Connell; the son of the late Thomas P. Sr. and Florence (McCarthy) O'Connell; the brother of William F. O'Connell of Germany, Mary M. O'Connell of South Boston, Charles F. O'Connell of Braintree and Margaret J. Devlin of Braintree. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
SISTER CATHERINE LOOBY, SCN
Sister Catherine Looby, SCN, formerly Sister Kathleen Maria, age 82, died at Nazareth Home, Louisville, KY on June 19, 2007. Sister was a native of South Boston and graduated from Nazareth High School in South Boston in 1942. She was a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth for 64 years. Sister Catherine was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Welton Looby. She is survived by nephews Joseph McSorley and his wife Linda of South Boston; Peter McSorley and his wife Donna of Braintree; and a niece, Patricia Prendegast and her husband Jack of Waltham; and her sisters in the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. Sister Catherine served in the ministry of education in Kentucky, Massachusetts Tennessee and Vir-ginia. She taught at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree from 1966-1971 and served as principal there from 1971-1975. She was also an instructor at Newbury College from 1975-1994. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Vincent Church, Nazareth, KY, followed by burial in Nazareth cemetery at Nazareth, KY.

A funeral mass was said Thursday, June 28, 2007 in St. Augustine's Chapel for Bernard J. Bernie Steele. He was the husband of the late Claire T. (Sullivan) Steele; the father of Joseph Steele of Dorchester, Claire T. Steele of Chelmsford, Michael Steele and his wife Mary of Quincy, John Steele of Stoughton, Elinor and her husband James McKenna of Quincy, Thomas and his wife Dawn of Quincy, Robert Steele of Braintree and the late Daniel and Bernard Steele; the brother of the late John and Robert Steele. He also leaves 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Foley; the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (O'Meara) Healey; the mother of James Foley and his wife Ellen of South Boston; and the sister of Thomas Healey and his wife Catherine of Weymouth, Maureen Sennett, Edward Healey and Nancy Raymond, all of South Boston; the niece of Rita Driscoll; and the sister-in-law of William Foley, Jeanne MacLean, Mary Delgiaco, Michael Foley, Peter Foley and the late Edward, John, Theresa, Thomas and James Foley, Patricia McMurray and Joni James. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass was said Friday, August 10, 2007 in St. Anthony's Church for Raymond F. Jordan. He was the husband of Anne M. (Delaney) Jordan; the father of Irene M. Jordan of Charlestown, Karen A. Conlon (Richard) of Arlington and Mary Ann Schwamb (Clinton) of Arlington and F. Jay Spadaro (Barbara) of NH; and the brother of Frances Prather, Judy Swanson and Vera Gazza, the late Antoinette Kott, Florence Lewis, Irene Jurkiewicz and Phil Jurkiewicz. He also leaves 10 grandchildren.

A prayer service was held Tuesday, August 14, 2007 for Douglas W. Kaake. He was the husband of Ruth G. (Kiburis); the father of Adeline Murray of South Boston and Doug Kaake of Holbrook; and the friend of Evelyn Powell. Douglas was the youngest of 7 children. He also leaves 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
