WILKINS, CELECIA -- Cecelia L. (Harrigan) Wilkins, 88, died Wednesday afternoon, October 25, 2006 following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late John Jack Wilkins, with whom she shared over forty years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on June 21, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Coleman) Harrigan. She was raised and educated in Danvers, and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1946. She was a lifelong Danvers resident.
For over forty years, Mrs. Wilkins was employed at Friend Box Company of Danvers. She was an avid Red Sox fan and a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She had a special affection for her dog, Molly.
She is survived by two sons, Edwin Wilkins of Danvers and William Wilkins and his wife Ann of Salisbury; three grandchildren: Amy Terry, Lyn Wilkins, and Jill Wilkins, and two great-grandchildren: Dylan Terry and Sydney Fischer.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 1:30PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. SNOW, SANDRA J. -- Sandra J. Snow, 59, died at home on Sunday evening, October 22, 2006 following a lengthy illness.
Born in Greenfield on October 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Rita (Coombs) Snow. She was raised and educated in Mt. Hermon and Danvers, and graduated from Danvers High School, Class of 1965. Sandra went on to earn her nursing degree from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1968 and later earned a BS/MS degree and certification as a nurse practitioner from Northeastern University.
A resident of Arlington for over 30 years, Sandra was employed as a registered nurse first at Massachusetts General Hospital and then at the Brigham & Womens Hospital in the surgical ICU for nearly 30 years.
Sandra had a special devotion to her cat, Rusty, and loved dancing and spending time at her family home in Vermont. She dedicated her life to caring for others and her family.
She is survived by her twin sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Peter Blankenship of Carlisle; her brother and sister-in-law, William and Peggy Snow of Dundee, OR.; two nieces: Kim Carr and Angela Tatterfield; and several great-nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Whit Snow.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 10AM in the McElroy Chapel of the Maple Street Congregational Church, Maple St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private. NEEF, MILDRED E. -- Mildred E. (Stone) Neef, 88, of Arkansas, formerly of Danvers, died Oct. 16, in the Rich Mountain Nursing & Rehab. Center. She was the wife of the late Alvin W. Neef, Jr.
Born in Danvers on May 3, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marion (Staten) Stone. She was raised and educated in Danvers. Mildred was a graduate of Holten High School in Danvers. She attended the Cushing Academy upon graduation. She had resided in Danvers and West Palm Beach for most of her life, prior to moving to Arkansas.
Mrs. Neef had been employed as a bookkeeper and office manager for many years and worked for Wm. Theis & Sons in West Palm Beach and banking in Danvers. She was a member of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach and also active in the Garden Club and PTA.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Unger of Arkansas, Susan Nevad and her husband Niels of Texas, a sister Priscilla Hird of New Hampshire, four grandchildren; William Pennell of FL, JoAnn Dagenhart of AR, Trace Nevad of FL, David Nevad of FL, and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son-in-law, John A. Bob Unger and siblings Arthur and Walter Stone and Dorothy Faino.
The Funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 28 at 11:00AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Vst. Hrs will be held prior to the service from 10-10:45AM. SOUCY, ARMAND L. -- Armand L. Soucy, 85, died Oct. 24, 2006 following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Isabelle (DEntremont) Soucy of Danvers, with he shared 58 years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on Sept. 25, 1921, he was the son of the late Lucien and Roseanne (Robidou) Soucy. Mr. Soucy was raised and educated in Danvers and Danversport. He had resided in Lynn for many years before retiring to New Hampshire. Mr. Soucy served his country during WWII with the United States Marines as a Corporal and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was employed with Sylvania GTE as a design engineer working in Salem and retiring from the Ipswich plant. He also enjoyed boating, owning a Sport Fisherman, where he enjoyed fishing.
Besides his wife Isabelle he is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law; Michael and Sandy Soucy of Danvers, Robert and Martha Soucy of Wayland, and Peter and Anita of VA, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Ross Weaver of Sutton, Donna Sellman of Nevada and Sharon and Doug Luoma of Norwell, a sister Lucy Bowman of VA, 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by a son David Soucy and siblings Roger, Roland, Joseph, Phillip, Reynold and Rita.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mr. Soucy on Friday, Oct. 27 at 9:00AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation cemetery, Danvers. DeLORENZO, ANTONIO CHICK -- Antonio Chick DeLorenzo, 85, died Monday evening at home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Lena (LeBlanc) DeLorenzo and the late Muriel (MacIntyre) DeLorenzo.
Born in Beverly on March 3, 1921, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Carolina (Serra) DeLorenzo. He was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1939. He was a longtime Danvers resident.
An honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in the South Pacific during WWII.
For over fifty years until the time of his death, Chick owned and operated Danvers Concrete Block. He founded the business in Danvers and later relocated its operation to Georgetown.
He enjoyed hunting and raising beagles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Muriel DeLorenzo of Danvers; two brothers: John DeLorenzo of Wells, ME and Joseph Pep DeLorenzo of Beverly; two sisters: Beatrice Chenery and Rose Czarnecki, both of Danvers; and two special in-laws, John and Lillian Moretti of Beverly. He was predeceased by his son, Anthony, his grandson, Nicklas, and two sisters, Connie Francisco and Katherine Stone.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Wadsworth Cemetery, Summer St., Danvers. FIORE, JOHN, MICHAEL of North Andover, formerly of Boxford and Danvers, John Michael Fiore, 60, died Saturday Oct. 21, 2006 following a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of Cheryl (Wells) Fiore with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.
Born in Winthrop on Oct. 21, 1946, he was son of the Samuel and Phyllis (Loverro) Fiore. He was raised and educated in E. Boston and Danvers. John moved to Danvers with his family when he was nine and resided there for nearly forty years. Besides Danvers, he also resided in Boxford and N. Andover. Mr. Fiore was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 1964. He attended college at Lowell Tech and North Eastern University.
Mr. Fiore had been employed as Senior Vice President of Administration with the Papa Ginos Restaurant Corporation. Prior to working with Papa Ginos he had been Senior Vice President of Administration of the Marshalls Department Stores.
Mr. Fiore is also survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Eric Berg of Marblehead and Sherri and Christopher Mireault of Wakefield, two sisters; Phyllis Fiore of NY and Julianne Fiore of Danvers., three grandchildren; Brianna Madeline and Colin John Berg and John Christopher Mireault, two nephews; Jason and Justin Wells, and in-laws, Tim, John and Sheilah Wells and their spouses.
Vst. hrs are Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. A Memorial Service will be held immediately following Vst. Hrs. at 7:00PM. ROSA, AMELIA -- Amelia Julia (Cipriani) Rosa, 94, died Saturday at Salem Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Everett on December 18, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Massimo and Anna Felecia (Lanciani) Cipriani. She was raised and educated in Italy and returned to the United States in 1938, where she settled in Chelsea. She was a resident of Chelsea for over forty years and a Danvers resident since 1982.
Mrs. Rosa enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and for many years knitted and crocheted for craft fairs at the Danvers Senior Center. She also loved flowers and gardening.
A beloved mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by a son, Thomas Rosa and his wife Mary of Danvers; a daughter, Dora Morelli and her husband Ron of Lynnfield, and three grandchildren: Steven Rosa and Jessica Rosa, both of Danvers, and Emily Morelli of Lynnfield. She was predeceased by two children, John and Laura Rosa, and two siblings: Dante and Ida.
A Funeral Mass was held privately earlier this week at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Danvers; and burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Arrangements are by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
WILKS, JOYCE -- Joyce (Dracup) Wilks, 91, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at her home. She was the wife of the late Earle S. Wilks, who died in 1969.
Born in Jamestown, NY on August 2, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Ethel (Stebbins) Dracup. She was raised and educated in Jamestown and went on to graduate from the Womens Christian Association Hospital Nursing School in 1938. She was a Danvers resident for over thirty years.
Joyce was employed as a registered nurse at the former Hunt Memorial Hospital for thirteen years, and then at the Hunt Nursing & Retirement Home for thirteen years until her retirement.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Geoffrey Turner and his wife Julieanna of IL, Bradford Turner and his wife Jennifer of Belchertown, Susan Riley and her husband James of NH, and Heather Wilks of Danvers; a great-grandson, Aiden Riley of NH; and a special daughter-in-law, Elaine Clark of Danvers.

LALUMIERE, KARA M. -- Kara M. Lalumiere, 23, died Sunday, October 15, 2006 following a brief illness.
Born on Feb. 21, 1983, she was the daughter of Frank and Kathryn (Collins) Lalumiere. She graduated from Woodbridge High School with honors in 2001 and graduated from James Madison University with a degree in business management in 2005.
Miss Lalumiere was employed by the Target Corporation in human resource management.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers: John and Daniel Lalumiere, her grandmother, Kathleen Lalumiere of Danvers; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated in Woodbridge, VA on Thursday. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 10AM in Annunciation Cemetery, Hobart Street, Danvers. OLSZEWSKI, IRENE E. -- Irene E. (Worris) Olszewski, 95, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday evening, October 10, 2006. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Stanley F. Olszewski, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Born in Cambridge on October 27, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Pauline (Pastuszak) Worris. She was raised and educated in Cambridge and a graduate of Cambridge High School, Class of 1927. She was a resident of Cambridge for most of her life, until moving to Danvers in 1986.
For many years, she was employed as an accounting clerk in the shoe industry for many years. She was a communicant of St. Richard Parish in Danvers.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by two devoted caretakers and their families: Laura Towey and Jean Bertand.
