FRENCH, ANN E. -- Ann E. (Glenn) French, 90, died Wednesday evening at a nursing facility in Worcester following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late George W. French, who predeceased her in 1964.
Born in Danvers on October 26, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (McKeever) French. She was raised and educated in Danvers, and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1935. She resided in Beverly for over fifty years until becoming ill.
She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Beverly, and a member of Our Lady's Sodality there. She enjoyed bowling, skiing, and her cats. She loved her neighborhood in North Beverly and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Stephen and Deborah French of Westminster; two grandchildren: Amber French of Pelham and Michael French of CO; and a sister: Marguerite Nangle of NH. She was predeceased by two brothers: James and Robert Glenn; and a sister: Mary King.
Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. An hour of visitation will precede the service from 10 to 11AM. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
MYERS, CRAIG M.-- Craig M. Myers, 62, died unexpectedly at home on July 25, 2006.
Born in Chicago, IL on March 8, 1944, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (McIntyre) Myers. He was raised and educated in Marion, and was a graduate of Tabor Academy, Class of 1962. At Tabor, he was an outstanding athlete and played quarterback on the school's football team. Following graduation, he attended Norwich University in Vermont.
Mike then began a career in industrial sales and, at his retirement in 2003, was Vice President of Sales for the fastener division of Marson Corporation of Chelsea.
He was an avid golfer and voracious reader.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Anne Myers of Ardsley-on-Hudson, NY; a nephew, Charles Myers; and three nieces, Katherine Baldwin, Anne Myers and Marya Myers.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 2PM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited.
PARISEAU, MARY (AYLWARD) (SWINARSKI) -- Mary E. (Aylward) (Swinarski) Pariseau, 89, died Monday morning, November 20, 2006 at a local nursing facility. She was the wife of the late Thomas Swiniarski and the late Ed Pariseau.
Born in Salem on February 28, 1917, she was the daughter of the late David and Lillian (Goss) Aylward. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She had been a Danvers resident for many years.
Mrs. Pariseau was employed for several years for the former A.C. Lawrence in Peabody, and later for Richard Borden preparing Red Sox films.
She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Peterâ€s Episcopal Church in Salem, and active in the Fairweather Community in Danvers. She enjoyed doing many crafts and gardening.
She is survived by a brother, Paul Aylward of North Falmouth, many loving nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Mary McSwiggan of Salem.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM in St. Peterâ€s Episcopal Church, 24 St. Peter St., Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no visiting hours. BEAUVAIS, DORICK A. -- of Danvers, Dorick A. Beauvais, 43, passed away Sat., Nov. 11, 2006. He was the husband of Karen (Pasdon) Beauvais.
Born in Salem on Dec. 17, 1962, he was the son of Richard and Sheila (Goldstein) Beauvais of Danvers. He was raised and educated in Danvers. He was the owner of Glazier Carpentry (G & C). Dorick had worked as a glazier and carpenter for over twenty years. Dorick also played the guitar and was a well known musician in the area. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend.
Besides his parents and wife, Dorick is survived by three step-daughters; Lauren and Lindsey Hamor, and Leah Clement, a brother; Robert Beauvais of Rockport, two sisters; Rebecca Bocuzzo of NH and Suzanne Burns of Methuen, two step-grandchildren; Jordan Clement and Shayla Schofield and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Liza Beauvais.

BOZEK, FRANCIS, X. of, Danvers, Francis X. Bozek, 83, passed away Nov. 10, 2006 peacefully in the home he built, surrounded by family and close friends. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Moser) Bozek.
Born in Salem on Dec. 10, 1922, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Marcinek) Bozek. He was raised and educated in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1940. He served his country during WWII with the United States Army in the European Theater. Francis received the Victory Medal, The American Theater Campaign Ribbon, The Good Conduct Medal and The European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon.
Francis was a Master Carpenter and worked for E. H. Porter for many years. He also was a member of the Local 1144 Carpenters Union in Danvers and was past president of the Local for over 20 years. Upon retiring he enjoyed building clocks, woodworking, yard work and baking. He took great pride in his family and home.
He is survived by a son; Joseph of Concord, NH, a sister; Dorothy Gildow of Ohio, two loving granddaughters; Christina and Diana Perry, a great granddaughter; Brianna Perry, his loving niece, Donna Nicholas, a sister-in-law; Gladys Conrad of Peabody, caring friends; Joan and Christopher Padgett and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Brenda Perry, and siblings, Edward and Matthew Bozek, Helen Schult and Anna Girard.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thurs., Nov. 16, 2006 at 10 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Margin St., Peabody. Burial will follow immediately in St., Marys cemetery, Salem. ROMEOS, MICHAEL, C. -- of Danvers, Michael Costas Romeos, 88, died following a lengthy illness Fri. Nov. 10, 2006. He was a leather worker for leather manufacturers for many years.
Born in Salem on Sept. 6, 1918, he was the son of the late Costas and Athena (Kleros) Romeos. He was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Holten High School in 1936. Mr. Romeos had also graduated from Burdette College in Lynn, where he studied business. He was a lifelong member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church.
He served his country with the United States Army for 5 years during WWII and was stationed in Guadalcanal. Mr. Romeos was honorably discharged as a Master Sergeant in 1945. He was a member of Amaral-Bailey Post 113 in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Mr. Romeos was employed with National House Furnishing Co. prior to becoming a leather worker. He was employed for many years with Donnell & Mudge Leather and also Trostel Leather, both in Salem.
Mr. Romeos was an outdoors man and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoyed attending his grandsons sporting events, where he loved to cheer them on. He was very personable and loved by all.
He is survived two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Stephen Donovan of Danvers and Connie and Herman Bernardo of NH, a sister Catherine Marcus of Danvers three grandchildren, Stephanie Gargiulo of Danvers, Michael Bernardo of Salem and Christopher Bernardo of NH, a great grandson Zachary Gargiulo and a woman friend of many years, Marguerite Pelkey of Peabody. He was predeceased by his wife Freda (Hickman) Romeos and a brother James Romeos.
His Funeral will be held Tues. Nov. 14, 2006 at noon in St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 7 Paleolgos St., Peabody. Burial will immediately follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Vst. hrs are Mon. from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
ALEXANDER, PATRICIA ANN (EATON) -- of Danvers, Patricia Ann (Eaton) Alexander, 73, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 in her home. She was the wife of the late James Alexander.
Born in Danvers on Feb. 2, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Estella (Bullawell) Eaton. She was raised and educated in Danvers and a graduate of Holten High School. A lifelong resident of Danvers, she was a past member of the Holy Trinity United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Alexander was employed as a private duty home health aide. She cared for elderly and terminally ill for most of her life. Mrs. Alexander was a dedicated mother and friend to all. She leant a helping hand to all friends and family in need.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Alexander of Danvers, two brothers, Gordon Eaton of Beverly and David Eaton of Burlington, two sisters, Barbara Thompson of Beverly and Marilyn Frans of Texas, and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, 2006 at 11AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. There are no visiting hours. Burial will be private.
SPRAGUE, DORIS -- Doris M. (Daigle) Sprague, 94, died Thursday at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Ernest W. Sprague Jr., with whom she shared nearly forty years of marriage.
Born in Lynn on October 27, 1912, she the daughter of the late Placide and Martha (Perkins) Daigle. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1931. She went on to earn her bachelors degree from Salem State College in 1935. She had been a Danvers resident since her marriage in 1941.
Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Sprague taught elementary school and immigration classes in Lynn. From 1955 to 1973, she returned to the classroom in Danvers, teaching at the Danversport, Riverside, and Thorpe Schools, and Holten-Richmond Jr. High School.
Active in the community, Mrs. Spague was a member of the Danvers Womens Association, the Friends of Glen Magna, the Friends of the Council on Aging, the Danvers Historical Society, and the Mass. Retired Teachers Association. She was a longtime member of the Calvary Episcopal Church.
She is survived by two sons: Robert Sprague and his wife Paula of Groveland; and Richard Sprague of Byfield; a daughter, Susan McCutcheon and her husband Henry of Alberta, Canada; a brother, Donald Daigle of Lynn; a sister, Phyllis Burke of Saugus; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister: William Daigle, Richard Daigle, and Irene Beaton.
Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10AM in Calvary Episcopal Church, corner of Cherry and Holten Sts., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. HURLEY, JAMES P. -- James P. Hurley, 69, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the loving and devoted husband of Phyllis M. (Wade) Hurley, with whom he shared 45 cherished years of marriage.
Born in Brookline on June 27, 1937, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy (Perry) Hurley. He was raised and educated in Topsfield and graduated from Newman Prep in Boston. He went on to attend Merrimack College. He lived in Topsfield for most of his life.
Jim was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed for 38 years at the MIT/Draper Labs in Cambridge, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
A member of the Topsfield Fire Department since 1968, he retired as Deputy Chief after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Topsfield Firefighters Relief Association.
Jim's most treasured days were spent with his grandsons, whom he adored.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Anna Hurley of Palm Desert, CA; two grandsons: Jeffrey and Timothy Hurley, both of Palm Desert, CA; a sister, Elizabeth Vail of Bonita Springs, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield. Relatives and friends are invited. CLARK, DOROTHY J. -- Dorothy J. (Anthony) Clark, 75, died Friday evening, October 27, 2006, in Dover, NH. She was the loving wife of the late Roy C. Clark, who predeceased her in February.
Born in Danvers on Nov. 17, 1930, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mildred (Blake) Anthony. She was raised and educated in Danvers, and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1938. She was a lifelong resident of Riverside Street in Danvers until her retirement 17 years ago, when she moved to Lee, NH.
For several years, she was employed at the United Shoe Machine Co. in Beverly. After raising her family, she returned to work at Shawmut Bank, retiring as branch manager.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Greg Haidaczuk of Salem, two sons, Charles Braiser of Gardner and David Braiser of Kittery, ME; three grandchildren: Melissa and Nicole Haidaczuk and Frank Damon, Jr.; and a brother, Frank Anthony of ME. She was predeceased by two children: Howard Pray and Jodi Damon, and her brothers and sister: Leonard, Robert, and Donald Anthony, and Barbara Blazonis.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on in the First Baptist Church of Danvers, 1 Water St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake St., West Peabody.
