WILLIAMS, Edwin Ted Allen -- Edwin Ted Allen Williams, 54, of Danvers, died Thursday morning, March 9, 2006, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Beverly (Earle) Williams.
Born in Peabody on November 8, 1951, he was the son of Alice (Duchene) Williams of Middleton, and the late Stanley Williams. Ted was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School in 1969. He was a lifelong resident of Danvers and a past member of the Holy Trinity Church. Ted was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Besides his wife, Beverly and mother, Alice, he is survived by a son and a daughter, Tom and Lisa Williams both of FL; a granddaughter Jade Williams; a brother and sister-in-law David and Pat Williams of FL; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Wendy and Lou LaBonte of Salem and Connie Peruffo of Middleton; former wife, Mary Beth Williams and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Monday, March 13, 2006 at 1:00PM in Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 16 Sylvan St., Danvers. Vst. hrs will be Sunday from 3:00PM-7:00PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. JANES, DIANNE -- Dianne C. (Dimmick) Janes, 53, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Beverly Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Janes.
Born in A, Canal Zone, Panama, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ann (Howe) Dimmick. She was raised and educated in Panama and Beverly, and was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1970.
Dianne was employed for over twenty years at the Danvers Community YMCA as an aquatics instructor. More recently, she was employed at Run-A-Muck Childcare.
An avid reader, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining.
She is survived by two daughters, Courtney Janes of Falls Church, VA and Megan Janes of Danvers, and her mother-in-law, Hedwig Elsie Janes of Danvers. She was the sister of the late Catherine Fontaine.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8PM at C.R. NORMAN, BARBARA L. -- Barbara L. (Israel) Norman, 78, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 in Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Donald Norman.
A native of Danvers, Barbara was born at home on Laurel Street to the late William P. and Edith M. (Rowell) Israel. She was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1946. Primarily a wife and mother, she worked part-time as a lunch room monitor at the Highlands School in Danvers and later at the York Steak House. Prior to her marriage she was employed as at Mrs. Days Ideal Baby Shoe.
She enjoyed many hobbied, including braiding and hooking rugs, sewing, and crocheting. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lynnfield.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Linda E. Dieter and her husband Rick of Danvers; four grandchildren: Christopher, Andrew, Kallie, and Melissa Dieter; a sister and brother-in-law, Shirley B. and H. Paul Nowak of Danvers; a niece, Paula Bartlett and a nephews, Scott Nowak, both of Londonderry, NH; 2 grandnephews and one grand niece.
A period of visitation will be held Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 Essex St., Lynnfield from 5-6PM. Her Funeral Service will follow immediately in the church chapel. Relatives and friends are invited. MALVITCH, HAROLD D. -- Harold David Malvitch passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2006 in the Hospice Care Unit at Addison Gilbert Hospital after a brief illness. He was 63.
Born in Danvers, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Innis) Malvitch. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a member of the Danvers High School Class of 1961.
Harold served in the US Army during the 1960s and was stationed in France for three years. He enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, fishing, and traveling. Last year, he traveled with his friend Tom Waite of Danvers to the Arctic Circle.
He is survived by his former wife, Arlene (Ripley) Malvitch of Peabody; his children: Robin Mulcahey and her husband Scott of Beverly, Joseph Malvitch and his wife Vicky of Salem, Daniel Malvitch of Florida, and Michael Malvitch of Peabody; his grandchildren: Kelly and Sasha Mulcahey of Beverly, Amanda and Adam Malvitch of Salem, Cassidy Malvitch of North Carolina, and Bailey Malvitch of Florida; his 10 brothers and sisters: Edward, John, Dean, and Paul Malvitch, all of Danvers, Jeanne Dionne of Peabody, Mary Lyness and Patricia Milbury, both of Salem, Susan Parker of Lynn, Lorraine Chenery of Peabody, and Barbara Raymond of Peabody; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. HAGERTY, JAMES J. -- James J. Hagerty III, MD, 61, a Danvers physician for the last 16 years, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, surrounded by the comfort and love of his family. He was the loving husband of Joan (Zermani) Hagerty, with whom he shared nearly twenty years of marriage.
Born in Mineola, NY on November 29, 1944, he was the son of Muriel (Kellar) Hagerty of Conroe, TX and the late Dr. James J. Hagerty Jr. He grew up the eldest of seven children in a military family, living in numerous locations across the U.S., but remembered with special fondness his years in Oberammergau, Germany. A graduate of Columbia University and Baylor Medical School, he also served in the military as a Green Beret (U.S. Army Special Forces) from 1964-1967, stationed as a medic in Panama; an assignment that deepened his love of and commitment to medicine.
Jim was a dedicated and compassionate physician, beloved by his patients and his staff. He served as the last Chief of Staff at the former Hunt Memorial Hospital. He was an avid golfer, spending many happy hours on the links at Salem Country Club.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, and brother, as well as a loyal friend. Jim will be deeply missed by all who were graced by his presence in their lives.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves three daughters: Aileen Hagerty of Boston, Gwen Hagerty of New York City, and Molly Hagerty of Danvers; a stepson, Andy Yohman of Cleveland, OH, and six brothers and sisters: Kevin, Brian, Virginia, Terry, Clare, and Paul.
Visiting hours will be Friday from 3-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. McMAHON, GAIL E. -- Gail E. McMahon, 55, died Tuesday morning at Beverly Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the loving companion of Richard Robinson of Beverly.
Born in Danvers on April 23, 1950, she was the daughter of John Sweeney of Newington, NH and the late Helen (Howard) Sweeney. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1968. She was currently residing in Beverly, but had lived throughout the Northshore during her life.
She was employed at Parker Brothers Inc. in Salem for many years and had been employed at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers until becoming ill. She enjoyed collecting dolls.
Besides her companion and father, she is survived by her brothers and sister: William Sweeney of Newington, NH, Richard Sweeney of Somersworth, NH, John Sweeney of Goffstown, NH, and Priscilla Kirlin of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be Friday at 10A.M. at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
CLARK, ROY C. -- of Lee, New Hampshire, formerly of Danvers, 78, died Monday Feb. 27, 2006. He was the husband of Dorothy (Anthony) Clark.
Born on June 11, 1927 in Beverly, he was the son of the late Harry and Frances (Croucher) Clark. He was raised and educated in Beverly. He was an honorably discharged Veteran of WWII and served with the United States Army. He also served with the United States Air Force for 4 years. Mr. Clark was employed with GTE Sylvania in Salem for over 40 years. He raised his family in Danvers and resided there for 41 years. He and his wife retired to Lee, New Hampshire 17 years ago.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy with whom he shared 58 years of marriage, two sons, Charles Brasier and his fiancée Virginia Powell of Holden and David Brasier of NH; a daughter and son-in-law Donna and Greg Haidaczuk of Salem, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Howard Pray, a daughter Joni Damon, and siblings, Harry Jr. and Stanley Clark and Mary Davis.
Mr. Clark's funeral service will be held on Fri. March 3, 2006 at 10:00am in The First Baptist Church, 1 Water St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. LORD, ALBERT -- Albert F. Lord, 73, died Tuesday evening, December 12, 2006 at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness.
Born in Danvers on November 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Albert and Carrie (Innis) Lord. Albert was raised and educated in Danvers and was a lifelong Danvers resident.
For nearly twenty years, he was employed at Donald F. Innis, Inc. He enjoyed bowling and playing the lottery.
Albert is survived by two brothers: William Lord of Danvers and John Lord of Florida; a nephew, Scott Lord of Boston, and a niece, Deborah Lord of North Andover.

FINNEGAN, ALICE H. -- Alice H. (Daniels) Finnegan, 82, died Sunday morning at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Francis H. Finnegan, with whom she shared over 35 years of marriage.
Born in Newport, RI on September 29, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Raposa) Daniels. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1942. She had been a Danvers resident for over fifty years.
Alice was employed prior to her marriage at Sylvania; and then later worked for many years as a bookkeeper; first for the Salem Credit Bureau and then for Minigal Electric.
A founding and longtime parishioner of St. Richard Church, she was a member of Our Lady's Sodality and the Catholic Mr. & Mrs. Club. She enjoyed sewing and was a loving mother who adored spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons: Patrick Finnegan and his wife Eileen of Tuscon, AZ, Shaun Finnegan of Danvers, and Mark Finnegan of Seabrook, NH; two brothers: John Daniels of Danvers and Henry Daniels of Palm Beach, FL; two daughters-in-law, Joy Duggan of South Berwick, ME and Erika Finnegan of Danvers; eight grandchildren: Alicia Goff, and Kevin, Daniel, Jack, Joseph, Shauna, Mark, and Brett Finnegan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Kevin Finnegan.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesdat at 10AM in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers. HINES, LORRAINE B. -- Lorraine B. (Hathaway) Hines, 73, died Nov. 29, 2006, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Ronald C. "Jeff" Hines with whom she was married
for over 40 years.
Born in Lowell on Feb. 22, 1933, she was raised and educated in Shelburne Falls.
Mrs. Hines was a graduate of the Henry Haywood Nursing School in Gardner, MA. She had been employed as a registered nurse for over 20 years at Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers. Mrs. Hines was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Ronald B. and Julie Hines of N. Carolina, Jeffrey A. and Debra Hines of Danvers and Joey A. and Julie Hines of Danvers, a daughter and son-in-law; Loriann and Ken Rollins of Groveland, eight grandchildren; Derek, D.J., Jillian, Jarrod and Jeffrey Hines and Carly, Molly and Sam Rollins, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy and a granddaughter Tiffany Hines.

FLIBOTTE, JOHN H. -- John Henry Flibotte, 70, died Nov. 28, 2006 at Beverly Hospital. He was the husband of Phyllis (Hardin) Flibotte, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage.
Born in Cambridge, MA on March 27, 1936, he was the son of the late Horace and Alice (Butler) Flibotte. Mr. Flibotte was raised and educated in Cambridge.
Mr. Flibotte had a passion for golf. He was the proprietor of the North Shore Golf School, which was a traveling golf school. John enjoyed working with children and held many clinics in the North Shore area for the Boys and Girls Clubs, including, Chelsea, Salem and Charlestown. He worked in conjunction with the Massachusetts Golf Association FORE Kids and the Mass Golf Assoc. for the Blind.
Besides his wife Phyllis, he is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law; David and Susan Flibotte of Peabody, William Flibotte of Bedford, Marc Klaiman and Amy Wilson of RI, and Seth Klaiman of RI, two daughters and a son-in-law Pamela and James Hollabaugh of Winchester and Rebecca Klaiman of FL, a brother William Flibotte of W. Bridgewater, five grandchildren, Kathryn and Michael Hollabaugh, Stephen Flibotte, Wil Klaiman and Jacob Flibotte, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Helene (Greenblatt) Flibotte, a son Stephen Flibotte and a sister Phyllis Peck.
