Margaret Watson
December 24, 1919 - May 6, 2014
Margaret Mereen Watson passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 94 years of age. She was predeceased by her husband, George in 2005. Margaret was born in Georgetown, ME on December 24, 1919 to Samuel Mereen and Eva Rattleff. She had resided at Langdon Place of Nashua, NH since 2005, and lived previously with her husband, George in Wells, ME, and Topsfield, MA.
She is survived by her son, Peter Watson and wife, Kathleen, of Cummington, MA, 2 grandchildren, Jenny Watermill and Emmy Niinimaki, and two great grandchildren, Max Watermill and Anna Mae Niinimaki; her daughter, Kim Watson and husband, Derek Burrage of Slidell, LA, and 2 grandchildren, Trigg and Gaia Burrage; and her daughter, Barbara Lefebvre and husband, Kenneth, of Groton, MA and 3 grandchildren, Benjamin, Corey and Laura Lefebvre.
An informal memorial service will be held Friday, May 9th, at Langdon Place of Nashua NH at 2pm, with a private burial at the Topsfield, MA cemetery scheduled for a later date.
Margaret loved flowers; the family invites those attending the memorial to bring a potted spring flower to share with the residents of Langdon Place, or to plant in your own garden in her memory. Otherwise, donations can be made to Sol Amor of Bedford, NH for the great care they provided to Margaret and many others.

Phyllis Bosch
August 11, 1930 - October 24, 2013
Phyllis (Treadwell) Bosch, 83, of Bolton died at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer on October 24, 2013. She was born in Tewksbury on August 11, 1930, daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Galeucia) Treadwell and wife of the late F. Michael Bosch. Phyllis grew up in Tewksbury, graduating from Lowell Nursing School and Mass Memorial Nursing School, where she earned her RN. She worked as a nurse at All Saints Hospital in Lowell, Norwalk Hospital and Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.
Phyllis was married in 1952 and made her home in Watertown, Billerica, Concord, and Harvard. After a brief stay in Wilton, CT, she lived in Bolton from 1985 until her death, spending summers in Morgan, VT. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, Hospice Nurse and served in a Widow to Widow Program. She gave to many charitable organizations and was an active member of the church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and cross stitching. She especially enjoyed doll collecting and reading. Phyllis played piano all her life and learned the organ in the 1980’s.
Her survivors include her children Steve M. Bosch of Beverly, Carol J. Bosch and her husband John Willett of Pepperell, David A. Bosch and his wife Penny Schnee-Bosch of NY, NY and 3 grandchildren, Michael K. Bosch, Matthew A. Bosch-Willett, and Thomas J. Bosch-Willett. She is also survived by a great grandson Nathaniel J. Bosch.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:30 am at the West Acton Baptist Church, West Acton Center, in West Acton, MA. There will be no visiting hours. Contributions in her memory may be made to Save The Children, www.savethechildren.org

Anna Sawyer
March 17, 1981 - October 29, 2013
Anna Marie Sawyer, age 32 passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1981 she was the beloved daughter of Cynthia Sawyer, of Maynard, MA, sister of James Sawyer of Dover, NH and loving aunt of Tyler Sawyer also of Dover, NH.
Anna cherished her 3 children, Alyxis, age 12, Kevin, age 9 and Haley, age 6. Anna fought a long exhausting battle against addiction and had to make some very hard choices to ensure that her children would be well taken care of. Throughout her life she has touched many lives and hearts and was always there for you when you needed it. She leaves behind several aunts and uncles, many cousins and lots of friends she has touched along the way.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to any local Narcotics Anonymous.
A favorite prayer of Anna's:
God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change to things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference.
A message from her brother:
I tried Anna, I tried to steer you in the right path. I don’t know that I could have done more. You have been through hell and back dealing with your issues and I want you to know that wherever you are I am Proud of you for what you tried to accomplish even though it was hard and you were suffering so much. I hope you’re not suffering anymore and you can finally rest without having to worry about anything. I love you. Always have and always will forever. I will never forget you and either will Tyler.

Frances Feeney
November 27, 1936 - November 6, 2013
Frances (Morello) Feeney 76, of Groton died peacefully at her residence on November 6, 2013. She was born in Everett, MA on November 27, 1936 daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ellen (McLaughlin) Morello. She graduated from Medford High School, Boston University and received advanced degrees at Rivier College after her children were grown. Frances was married to John Feeney in 1956 and has made her home in Endwell, NY, Burlington, Concord, and then Groton since 1978.
Fran was currently and for many years the President of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Association of Massachusetts where she focused on expanding the professionalism of the organization through the education and training of its members. She was currently on the Board of Directors and Secretary of the National Wildlife Rehabilitation Association.
She was an avid reader and a lifelong student of history, literature and the practical arts. She developed extensive skills in the personal computer field, and was an accomplished quilter.
Mrs. Feeney sacrificed a potentially high skilled professional career to raise a family seeing each of her children obtain advanced degrees. She was always first and foremost a beloved wife and mother.
He survivors include her husband John F. Feeney of Groton, her daughter Laura Ann Feeney of Groton, NY, 2 sons David and his wife Regina Feeney of Newton, Daniel Feeney and his wife Katherine Guernsey of New Paltz, NY, and a brother Frank E. Morello of Freedom, Maine. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Marla Mae Feeney, Lucas Feeney, Leo Feeney, Warren Feeney, Elijah “Jack” Feeney, Julia Feeney and Nicholas Marino.
No Services are planned at this time. Contributions in her memory may be made to the wildlife preservation organization of your choice.

Norman Hamm
June 18, 1922 - November 11, 2013
Norman N. G. Hamm, 91 of Littleton, died at Apple Valley Nursing Home in Ayer on November 11, 2013. He was born in New Orleans, LA, on June 18, 1922 son of the late George and Catherine (LeVasseaur) Hamm. He grew up in Louisiana and earned a Bachelors Degree at Tulane University, LA College of Engineering. He was married in 1946 and had made his home in New Jersey and then Littleton from 1962.
Mr. Hamm worked as an engineer for RCA and Philco, and retired from Sanders Associates/BAE Systems. He was a lifetime member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
He is survived by his wife Grace (Perlman) Hamm, residing at Apple Valley Center in Ayer, his youngest son Michael and his wife Patricia Hamm of Merrimack, NH., His daughter in law Helen Hamm and her children Debbi and her spouse Jean, all of Littleton MA, Kenny and his spouse Alison of Shrewsbury, MA, Kevin and his spouse Jenn of Mashpee, MA. Norman was also survived by 4 grandchildren Dezerae, Jadae, Josh and AJ// He was also the father of the late Gerald Hamm who passed away suddenly, March 1, 2007

Elizabeth Lee
December 19, 1924 - November 9, 2013
Elizabeth Donaldson (Bennett) Lee, also known as Betty, 88, of Matawanakee Trail, Littleton, MA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov 9, 2013.
Betty was born in Somerville, MA on Dec 19, 1924, the daughter of the late James Brown Bennett and Mary Hindley (Roxburgh) Bennett. She grew up in Medford, attending school and graduating from Medford High School in 1942. A Littleton resident for 59 years, Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Littleton. For many years, she enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, working with the Junior choir and as a youth group advisor. In her younger years, Betty worked for Boston Edison. She was well-known as the Avon Lady in town for many years, worked at the Hillside (Concord) Answering Service, ADESA Auto Auction and retired from Sonoco.
Betty was a kind, generous, loving individual who always had a joke to share with you. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who carried 8 x 10 photos of her grandchildren even though she had wallet size photos. Betty was a warm and wonderful friend and a huge Boston Red Sox enthusiast. An avid reader, Betty also loved doing crossword puzzles and playing scrabble, gin-rummy and Bingo!
Survived by her daughters, Robin Stephanie (Lee)(Dancause) Cole, and her husband Charles, of Simpsonville, SC and Tracey Elizabeth (Lee) Swana and her husband, David, of Littleton, MA. Grandaughters, Stephanie Lee (Dancause) Snyer and her husband Jonathan, of Gardner, MA; Jillian Beth (Dancause) Colstrom and her husband Scott, of Easley, SC; Kalina Elizabeth Swana of Littleton, MA and grandson Anthony Michael Swana of Littleton, MA. Great-grandchildren Scott Michael Colstrom, Avenlee Annette Strand, Lauren Abigail Snyer, Bennett James Colstrom, Kinlee Marie Cole, Austen Elizabeth Cole and Harrison James Cole. Her sister, Jean Elinor (Bennett) Oakland of Ayer, MA. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Betty was preceded in death by her brothers John Roxburgh Bennett, Robert Leslie Bennett, James Brown Bennett II, Gordon Bennett and her sister, Mary Roxburgh (Bennett) Brown.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street (Rte 2A/110), Littleton on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM. Celebration of Life service will take place at First Baptist Church Littleton, 461 King Street, Littleton, MA, on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM, with interment at Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton immediately following the service.

Emma R. Wojcuilewicz, 94, of Townsend
TOWNSEND: Emma R. (Saccocia) Wojcuilewicz, 94, of 22 Hamilton Hill Road,
died Saturday, November 24th at the Health Alliance - Leominster Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Edward S. Wojcuilewicz who died in 1973.
Mrs. Wojcuilewicz was born on June 6, 1913, the oldest of five children born to Ralph and Generosa (DeCarols) Saccocia and grew up in South Portland, Maine.
Followng her mariage, she moved to the Boston area before moving to Townsend in 1962.
She is survived by four sons; Louis Deblosi, Michael Wojcuilewicz and Edward Wojcuilewicz all of Townsend, Robert Deblosi of Medford, three daughters; Barbara Flaherty of Shapsleigh, Maine, Patricia A. Fairbanks of Townsend, Theresa Mills of Indaianantlantic, Florida. She also leaves 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 33 great great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Louis Saccocia of Wilmington, Julia Dunn of Lynn, Almeda Woerner of Salem, NH and Hilda Pento of Woburn.
Mrs. Wojcuilewicz attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in Groton. She was a member of the Townsend Senior Citizens and enjoyed working with flowers in her garden. Through the years she was entrusted with the care of many children under the direction of the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held 10am Thursday, November 29th at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main Street, (Rte 119) Townsend Center. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Townsend.

Steven R. Whitney 52, of Ashby
ASHBY: Steven Robert Whitney, 52, a lifelong resident of Ashby died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Health Alliance - Leominster Hospital after being stricken ill at his home earlier that evening.
Mr. Whitney was born in Fitchburg, May 28, 1955, a son of G. Lillian (Bisbee) Whitney and the late Robert L. Whitney. He was a 1973 graduate of North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend. He continued his education at the Central New England College, Worcester, where he graduated at the top of his class. He then attended Wentworth College and Northeastern University, both in Boston, where he received certificates in procurement and purchasing.
Besides his mother of Ashby, he is survived by a brother and sister in law; Douglas A. and Cathy Whitney of Townsend, a sister; Joyce R. Schmuck of Ashby, two nieces; Jennifer J. Schmuck, Jessica J. Schmuck, a nephew; Keith Hanks, a grandnephew; Zachary Hanks and a grandniece, Morgyn Hanks.
Mr. Whitney worked as a procurement and purchasing officer for the L3 Essco Communications Company in Concord. Prior to that he worked for the Foster Miller Company in Waltham.
He was a Life Scout member of the Ashby Scout Troop 27. Mr. Whitney was also a member of the Ashby Lodge of Masons as well as the Square & Compass Club in Ashby.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 9th, 5 - 8 PM at the T. J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Townsend Center.

Barbara Ruth (Dodge) Rust-McDonald of Leominster 81, Loving Mother, Grandmother and Avid Red Sox Fan
LEOMINSTER: Barbara McDonald, 8l, of Bonnydale Road in Leominster passed away on November 8, 2007 at the Health Alliance/Leominster Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Mrs. McDonald was born on June 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Ruth A. and Judson Dodge of Isleboro, ME. After graduating from Isleboro High School, she spent many years in Rockland, ME.
Mrs. McDonald married Armand J. Rust and moved to Shirley, MA. After his passing she married Kenneth C. McDonald and they enjoyed 20 wonderful years together.
She worked for many years at the George Frost Company in Shirley, MA and the H.H. Scott Company in Maynard, MA. After her retirement in 2004 she worked part time at Adesa Car Auction in Concord, MA. She was a member of the Shirley Golden Ages.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws: Ronald and Gail Rust of Shirley, Stuart and Christina Rust of Leominster, a stepson Kenneth and his wife Tina McDonald of Shirley, two sisters, Hattie Carlton of Shirley, Mattie Barnes of Rockland, ME.
Her pride and joys, her grandchildren, Angela Drew, Tracy, Melissa, Shawn Rust, Patrick and Ernie Westover all of Shirley, Michael and Courtney Denning of Leominster, Adam Kapous of Braintree and Christopher Locke of Rockland, ME; her great grandchildren MacKenzie, Madison, and Morgan Drew; Dawn, Matthew, and Jacob McDonald all of Shirley and Anthony Rust of Leominster; her beloved friend and pet, her cat, Minnie Me. Also, several nieces, nephew, 'adopted' grandchildren of the neighborhood and extended family, and many wonderful friends and acquaintances over the years.
She was predeceased by her husbands, her daughter, Linda Rust of Shirley, her sisters Dorothy Dyer and Mildred Steele, three brothers, Herbert, Judson Jr. and Oren Dodge all of Rockland, ME, two step children James McDonald of Tampa FL and Marjorie Locke of Rockland, ME.
Calling hours are 6 - 8 PM Wednesday, November 14th at the T. J. Anderson & Sons Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd.( Rte 2A) Ayer, MA.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
