Robert W. Perkins
Funeral services for Robert W. Perkins, 88, of Leesville will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Canaan Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Earnest Jarrell officiating.
Burial will follow in Canaan Cemetery
in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 25, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home and Wednesday, Jan. 26 from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the church.
Mr. Perkins died Friday, Jan. 21 in Beaumont, Texas .
He was born in Pleasant Hill.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a 60 year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union.
He retired as an electrician. He has lived in Leesville since 1978 and was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Robert Perkins of Bellevue, Neb.; three daughters, Lucille Ely of Glen Pool, Okla., Linda Jones of Baytown, Texas and Betty Berry of China, Texas ; one sister, Reece McNair of Tuscon, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Wanda Sue James
Graveside services for Wanda Sue James, 63, of Hornbeck were held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 in Prewitt's Chapel Cemetery
in Hornbeck with Rev. Ted Cabra officiating and under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
James died Friday, Jan. 21 in a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Ronayne.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Ronayne and wife Penny of Ragley; one sister, Glenda Perez of Metairie; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
ORA "JOE" OREN MYERS
Leesville, La. - Graveside services for Ora “Joe” Oren Myers, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 31 at Good Hope Cemetery
in Singer.
Mr. Myers Passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008 in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lera Myers; son Buck Myers; great-grandson Billy Ferguson and son-in-law James Frear.
Myers is survived by daughters Joette and Richard Head of Merryville; Liz and Wayne Wadkins of DeRidder and Lisa and Jerry Holman of Brookeland, Texas ; sisters, Berdie and Corroy Hughs of Beaumont and sister-in-law, Laura Myers of DeRidder; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Harlan Wayne Wittenhagen
Memorial services for Harlan Wayne Wittenhagen, 68, of Leesville, will be held at 7 p.m., today, Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 at Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Burr Ferry with Rev. Melvin Smith officiating under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, Oct. 8 from 6 p.m. until the time of the service in the church.
Mr. Wittenhagen died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at his residence in Leesville.
He was a Retired U.S. Army E-7 after serving for 20 years, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church.
He was a native of Mt. Vernon, South Dakota.
Survivors include his wife, Monika Wittenhagen of Leesville; one son, Mark and wife Amanda Wittenhagen of Evans; one daughter, Karen and husband Brian Hammons of Natchez, Miss; one brother, Dwain Wittenhagen of Leesville; four sisters, Carol Fox of San Bernardino, Calif., Delores Jenney and Sharon Burnsides, both of Omaha, Neb., and bonnie Puepke of Mitchell, S.D.; and two grandchildren, Clay and Collin Hammons.
Carolyn Edith Parker
Funeral services for Carolyn Edith Parker, 57, of Anacoco will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco.
Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery
in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Homes.
Friends may call on Friday, Oct. 8, from 5 p.m. until the time of the service in the church.
Mrs. Parker died Thursday, Oct. 7, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.
She was a lifelong residence of Vernon Parish and was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist church, as well as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Andrew Williams, Wesley Williams, Huey Williams and sister Vitulia Furr.
Survivors include her husband, Cullen L. "Jimmy" Parker of Anacoco; two sons, Victor "C H" Scarinzi of Anacoco and David Dewayne Parker of Anacoco; one brother, Jerry Dale Williams of Kurthwood; and two sisters, Cleo Bruynincks of Anacoco and Pearl Bruce of Beaumont, Texas .
David Plummer
Funeral services for David R. Plummer, 41, of Anacoco, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 1, 2004, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Mark Roberts and Pervis Chance officiating.
Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery
in Anacoco under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation was held from 6-10 p.m. Friday, July 30, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 31, and will continue today until time of service.
Mr. Plummer died July 29, 2004, in the Huey P. Long Hospital in Pineville.
He was a native of Galena Park, Texas , and a life resident of Anacoco.
He was a past employee with DOL Maintenance as a forklift operator.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Plummer of Anacoco; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Palmer and Dee Plummer of Anacoco; two sons, Joey Fletcher and Jeremy Belk, both of Clarksville, Tenn.; two daughters, Onie Milson and Summer Farmer, both of Leesville; four sisters, Pam Carson, Tammy Christensen, Stacie Plummer and Codi Godwin, all of Anacoco; and 12 grandchildren.
Becky Gail Eaglin Boulanger
Funeral services for Becky Gail Eaglin Boulanger, 27, of Dayton, Texas , will be held at 11 a.m. today, Aug. 1, 2004, at Calcasieu/Union Baptist Church in Slagle with Rev. Edwin McCullough officiating.
Burial will follow in Calcasieu/Union Grove Cemetery
in Slagle under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation began Saturday, July 31 at 6 p.m. and will continue today Aug. 1, until time of service in the church.
Mrs. Boulanger died Thursday, July 29 in Shreveport..
She was born in Conrad, Mont., attended Simpson Elementary and was a member of the Calcasieu Baptist Church and was attending Living Waters Baptist Church in Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Allen Eaglin.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Boulanger of Dayton; three daughters, Angelica "Boo" M. Eaglin, Brittany Nicole Smith and Courtany Lyn Smith, all of Dayton; one brother, Johnny Eaglin of New Caney, Texas ; three sisters, Stacy L. Eaglin of Shreveport, Sabrina Lynn Coffman of Simpson and Crystal Gail Storts of Anacoco; and her parents, Betty and Lynn Miller of Dayton.
DeLoris B. Robison
Funeral services for DeLoris B. Robison, 75, of Leesville, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Gary Archbold officiating.
Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2 in the funeral home.
Mrs. Robison died Friday, July 30, 2004, at her residence.
She was a native of Osage, Iowa, and a resident of Leesville/Vernon Parish for 40 years.
She is survived by four daughters, Marcia Stemmermann of Houston, Elizabeth "Betty" Huckaby of Leesville, Margaret Harney of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Esther Stem of Leesville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
