Alton D. Olivier
ST. MARTINVILLE – Services for Alton David Olivier, 65, will begin at 11 a.m. today at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. interment will be in the St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Visitation was held from 2:30-10 p.m. Friday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville, which reopens at 8 a.m. today until time of service.
A resident of St. Martinville, Olivier died on Friday, March 27, 1998, at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia.
He is survived by two sons, Johnny Olivier of Mercardes, Texas and Jackie Olivier of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Jane Olivier of Mercardes, Texas ; one brother, Allen J. Olivier of St. Martinville; one sister, Helen Bourgeois of New Iberia and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Olivier.

Beverly Alleman
Services for Beverly Ann Alleman, 65, will be held at 9 a.m. today at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, with the Rev. Mike Guidry officiating. interment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Visitation was from 5-10 p.m. Friday, with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia, which reopens at 7 a.m. today until time of service.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Beverly Alleman died at 3 a.m. Friday, March 27, 1998, at her residence.
She is survived by three sons, Michael James Gary of New Iberia and Keith Andrew Touchet and Scotty Paul Touchet, both of Erath; four stepsons, Wilton Touchet and Joseph Touchet, both of New Iberia, and Wilson Touchet and Willie Touchet, both of Delcambre; five daughters, Patricia Dutile, Mrs. Merlin (Charlene) Kern Jr., Mrs. Gerald (Julia) Maturin, Mrs. Walter “T-Boy” (Brenda) Henry and Mrs. Stanley (Eunice) Benoit, all of New Iberia; one brother, Homer Alleman of New Iberia; one sister, Mrs. Paul (Amy) Romero of New Iberia; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Eunice Louviere Alleman; one stepson, Douglas Touchet; one brother, Donald J. Alleman and one grandson, Michael J. Gary Jr.
Pallbearers are Gerald Maturin, Stanley Benoit, Merlin Kern Jr., Walter Henry, Homer Alleman and Michael Gary.

Ethel F. Bailey
Services for Mrs. D.L. “Bill” Bailey, 92, the former Ethel Farley, will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the David Funeral Home of New Iberia, with the Rev. Reggie Ogea officiating. interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery
of New Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4:30-9 p.m. at the David Funeral Home, which will reopen at 10 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
A native of Stephenville, Texas and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bailey died at 3:25 p.m. Friday, March 27, 1998, at Dauterive Hospital of New Iberia. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda B. Prosper of Galliano, and a sister, Lillian Farley of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.L. “Bill” Bailey; her parents, John David and Willie Belle Webb Farley; a son, Harold Bailey; three brothers, J.D. Farley, Printest Farley and Ruben Farley and a sister, Lois Grisby.

Preston J. Vincent
ERATH – Services for Preston Joseph Vincent, 52, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath. interment will be in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. today, with a 6 p.m. rosary on Sunday at the David and Broussard Funeral Home of Erath, which will remain open all night Saturday and Sunday, until time of services Monday.
A native and resident of Erath, Mr. Vincent died at 11:50 a.m. Friday, March 27, 1998, at Abbeville General Hospital.

Edna D. Verret
ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Edna Albert Dore Verret, 84, will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Evangeline Funeral Home, which will remain open until the time of services on Thursday.
A resident of St. Martin Parish, Mrs. Verret died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at a Lafayette hospital.

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Mrs. John Douet, 86, the former Emelie Boudreaux Lasseigne, will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with Rev. Keith DeRouen officiating. interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen Friday at 9 a.m. until the time of services.
A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Douet died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, in a Lafayette hospital.
She was a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.
Mrs. Douet is survived by one brother, Lazin Boudreaux of Catahoula; one sister, Marie Champagne of Parks; four grandchildren, Tommy Ronsonet, Brad Ronsonet, Vickie R. Dugas and Tim Ronsonet, all of Loreauville; and eight great-grandchildren, Kirby Ronsonet, Willie Ronsonet, Brynn Louviere, Dustin Ronsonet, Daniell Ronsonet, Gabrie Dugas, Kalun Dugas and Obrey Ronsonet, all of Loreauville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcide and Oliva Berthelot Boudreaux Sr.; one daughter, Gladys Ronsonet; one son, Noe Lasseigne Jr.; her first husband, Noe Lasseigne Sr.; her second husband, John Douet; one grandson, Dickie Paul Ronsonet; and one great-grandson, Dillon Paul Ronsonet.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Ronsonet, Brad Ronsonet, Tim Ronsonet, Keith Dugas, Walter Boudreaux and Roy Boudreaux.

Clerphy LeBlanc
ERATH - Services for Clerphy "Tee Chere" LeBlanc , 95, will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Wayne Duet officiating. interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. rosary at Broussard Funeral Home, which will reopen at 7 a.m. Friday until the time of services.
Mr. LeBlanc died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at Abbeville General Hospital.
He is survived by one son, Logier "L.J." LeBlanc of New Iberia; one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Nellie) Chiasson of Grosse Isle; one sister, Henrietta Langla of New Iberia; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Mr. LeBlanc was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta LeBlanc ; his parents, Placide and Helene Sonnier LeBlanc ; two daughters, Mrs. Nodily (Hilda) Faulk and infant Maria LeBlanc ; one granddaughter, Michelle Renee Faulk; three sisters, Mrs. Otis (Inez) Broussard, Eula Derouen and Mrs. Victor (Maude) Romero; and two brothers, Clersay and Joseph U. LeBlanc .
Pallbearers will be Earl Chaisson Jr., Tommy Faulk, Ricky Faulk, Joey Faulk, Kevin LeBlanc and Greg LeBlanc .
Honorary pallbearers will be Garland Faulk, Lonnie LeBlanc and David Estlette.

Lorena Hebert
GUEYDAN - Services for Lorena Fruge Hebert, 85, will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Grady Estiletto officiating. interment will be in the Gueydan cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at Vincent Funeral Home, which will reopen Friday at 7 a.m. until the time of services.
Mrs. Hebert died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at Crowley American Legion Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Hebert of Gueydan and H.L. "Bo" Hebert of New Iberia; one daughter, Mrs. Sam (Tee) Rosenbaum of Crowley; one sister, Chloe Roundtree of Abbeville; one half-sister, Eva Lee "Tiny" Libert of Port Arthur, Texas ; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her husband, John Hebert; one son, Robert Hebert; one daughter, Elvenia McGuffey; one brother, Lawless Fruge; one half-sister, Gladys Taylor ; and one half-brother, Orres Fruge.

Wilton J. Hebert
Services for Wilton Joseph Hebert, 91, will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Monsignor Guy Lemoine officiating. interment will be in the St. Michael's Cemetery
in St. Martinville.
Visitation will be 4:30-10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at David Mortuary, which will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday.
A native of Loreauville and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Hebert died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at Consolata Nursing Home.
He was a retired piano tuner, a member of St. Peter's Church Choir, a musician and member of the original Louisiana Six Dixieland Jazz Band. Mr. Hebert devoted much of his time to his children and his grandchildren, who he cherished dearly.
Mr. Hebert is survived by two sons, Lloyd Hebert of Burbank, Calif., and Preston Hebert of New Iberia; seven daughters, Celeste H. Boudreaux and Laura H. Waguespack, both of Lafayette, Suzanne H. Broussard of Dallas, Claire H. Dering of Sherman, Texas , Loretta H. Gonsoulin of Thibodaux, Annette Hebert and Helen H. Louviere, both of New Iberia; two sisters, Anita Hebert of New Iberia and Viola H. Landry of Breaux Bridge; 46 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Landry Hebert; his parents, Delmas and Amelia Breaux Hebert; three brothers; three sisters; and two grandsons, Harry Anderson Jr. and Mark Gerard Louviere.
Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mr. Hebert.
