INNERARITY, BOYCE EMILE
An ordained minister of Jehovah's Witnesses since April 10, 1965, he was well-known for his Christian qualities. Outstanding among these were his love for his Creator, his family and the many friends he made at work, in the many congregations in which he served and in his day-to-day contacts. He was also known for his generosity, kindness and humility, and yet, he was firm for right principles. Like the "Happy God" (1 Tim 1:11) he served, he had a unique sense of humor, especially loving to tell "Cajun" jokes. He loved to use powerful yet simple illustrations to teach. Boyce was extremely talented in many fields, most notably as a craftsman in the construction field, shipbuilding, home and commercial building projects. Many benefited from his teaching others a trade. Family and friends look forward to the time when the earth is being transformed into a paradise (Luke 23:43), when God's Kingdom (Matthew 6:9,10) is the only legitimate government on earth and our dead loved ones return by means of a resurrection, and sickness and death are forever wiped out. (Rev. 21:3,4). Boyce shared in giving others this hope from the Bible and knowing that we are living in "the last days" (2 Tim 3:1-5) we are confident that his "sleep" in death will be relatively short. We anxiously await the time when we can greet him in the resurrection. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on La. 190 in Walker, conducted by Brother Rodney Blanchard. Inurnment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park at a later date. Normand of Springfield; a sister, Shirley Peak of Mississippi; four brothers, Leo Innerarity of Baker, George Innerarity of Springfield, Harold Innerarity of Slidell and John Wayne Innerarity of Lindale, Texas ; five grandchildren, three stepgrandsons and four great-granddaughters.
