A resident of Bogalusa, he died Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at his home. He was 62. interment in New Hope Cemetery, Crossroads, Miss. Survived by his wife, Charlotte Arceneaux, Bogalusa; three sons and daughters-in-law, Hopson Paul Arceneaux III and Sharon Arceneaux, Patrick Arceneaux and Jean Arceneaux and Ronnie Arceneaux and Chanteé Arceneaux, all of Gonzales; four stepchildren and their spouses, Michelle and James Burnside, David and Lisa Lavinghouse and Jennifer Dukea and Earl Seal III, all of Bogalusa, and Chad Dukea of New Orleans; a sister and brother-in-law, Berline and James Pouncey of Pride; a brother and sister-in-law, Kerry and Charlene Arceneaux of Gonzales; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Kathy McDonald, Gary and Dejuana Netto and Tammy Harris; father-in-law, Charles Netto, Bogalusa; 12 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Dee Dee Foster Magee. Preceded in death by his parents, Hopson Paul Arceneaux Sr. and Janice Arceneaux; and his mother-in-law, Winnie Netto.

BARKER SR., ROBERT H.
Robert H. Barker Sr. died at Field Memorial Hospital, Centreville, Miss., Tuesday, March 23, 2004. He was 56, born Feb. 18, 1948, in White Castle. He was a retired painter and a resident of Centreville. interment in United Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Clinton. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lelia Mae Sanders Barker, Centreville; two daughters, Latreal and husband Jason McClain Sr. and Katherine E. and husband Daniel Davis; three sons, Robert H. and wife Tina Sherman Barker, Jamie L. and wife Carol Crook Barker and Roger D. Widmer, all of Centreville; two sisters, Myrtle and husband Robert Collins of Bueche and Joann and husband Corl Collins of Rougon; six brothers, James Jr. and wife Ramona Sanders Barker of Gonzales, John and wife Betty Sanders Baker of Baton Rouge, Charles and wife Jean Sanders Barker of St. Amant, David and wife Theresa Collins Barker of Galvez, Jack and wife Debra Hasty Barker of Zachary and Tony and wife Carolyn Brown Barker of Centreville; grandchildren, Laura A. Barker, Ariel N. Barker, Robert Henry Barker III, Jonathan A.A. Barker, Christiana A. Barker, Jamie L. Barker Jr., Thimothy W. Barker, Olivia M. Barker, Allyssa M. Barker, Jason I. McClain Jr., Mariah E. McClain, Chandler L. Davis, Joshua Sherman, Michelle Sherman, Sierra Sherman, Aaron J. Davis and Brian D. Davis; sisters-in-law, Barbara A. Brown of Tylertown, Miss., and Tally U. Sanders of Prairieville; brothers-in-law, Glenn L. Sanders of Centreville, Daniel D. Sanders of Baton Rouge and Jan L. Sanders of Prairieville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, Darryl Allen Barker; and parents, James Leonard and Mary Stallman Barker. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Clinton.

BOUDREAUX, BOBBIE ANN BROWN
Born March 22, 1942, she entered into rest with her Lord on Wednesday, March 24, 2004. Graveside service was held at Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. She lived most of her life in Ascension Parish and attended Donaldsonville High School. She owned and operated Bobbie's Angel's Daycare from 1981 to 1999. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church since 1967 and the church choir. The family wishes to thank Hospice Foundation of Greater Baton Rouge, St. Elizabeth Hospital and staff, Dr. John Fraiche and staff, Dr. Stephanie McGrath and Lake Ascension Physicians for the care and support she received through her long battle with cancer. Survived by her husband, Oakley Boudreaux; a daughter, Linda Kay Toney LeBlanc ; son-in-law, Tim LeBlanc ; grandson, Chance Michael Blank; son, Michael L. Toney; two granddaughters, Olivia Jan and Angellé Elizabeth Toney; two stepsons, Gerald Dale Boudreaux, his wife, Donna, and their son, Devin; and Keith David Boudreaux, his wife, Tracy, and their son, André; two half-brothers, James E. "Red" Brown and wife Nancy and Jerry Brown and wife Vicki; and two half-sisters, Janie B. May and Margie Barrient. Preceded in death by her daughter, Tonette Elizabeth Toney; parents: father, James E. Brown; stepfather, Floyd B. Nations and Christien Nations.

BREWERTON, PAUL ANTHONY
A retired Orleans Parish Civil District Court clerk with eight years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. He was 86, a native of Burnside and a resident of New Orleans from 1938 to 1984. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tallie LeBlanc Verbois Brewerton of Baton Rouge; four stepsons and their wives, C. Marvin Jr. and Lucie Verbois of The Villages, Fla., Jack and Dorothy Verbois of Tylertown, Miss., Michael and Ruth Verbois of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Brent and Michelle Verbois of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; a sister, Margaret Melancon of Greensburg; a brother, the Rev. Peter H. Brewerton of Thibodaux; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Herbert and Carrie King Brewerton; two sisters, Ruth B. Robert and Alice B. Desselle; and two brothers, John L. Brewerton Sr. and Alfred W. Brewerton. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

BROUSSARD, RUFUS CURTIS
A retired program specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, he died at noon Thursday, March 25, 2004, in Alexandria. He was 93, a resident of Alexandria and a native of Prairieville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Camille Marie Blouin Broussard, Alexandria; two sons, Kevin Broussard of Alexandria, Va., and Keith Broussard of Sugar Land, Texas ; three sisters, Magdaline Cowart of Albany and Ruby Chaney and Ganell Knippers, both of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Pearlie Broussard of Prairieville, Louis Broussard of Gonzales, Oakley Broussard of Walker and D.L. Broussard of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Gene, Kyle and Jenny Broussard, all of Sugar Land; and a daughter-in-law, Michelle Brown Broussard, wife of Keith. He was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

BROWN, DONNA WEAVER
A resident of Prairieville, she died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Earl K. Long Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 58 and a native of New Castle, Ind. Survived by her father, William L. Weaver, Baton Rouge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Danna Thornton, Greensburg, and Diana and Kenneth Cason, Denham Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Rhonda Shear, Prairieville; two brothers, Bobby and Billy Weaver, both of Slidell; four grandchildren, Shawn Thornton, Michelle and her husband, Danny Newman, Ashley Thornton and Brittany Shear; a great-grandson, Trey Newman; and a stepgranddaughter, Kristin Shampine. Preceded in death by her mother, a brother and a sister.

HARP, SIDNEY ALEXANDER "NEY"
A retired carpenter and a member of Local 2258, he died at 4:45 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2004, in Donaldsonville. He was 80 and a resident and native of Donaldsonville. Entombment in Ascension Catholic Church Mausoleum. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosemary LeBlanc "Cookie" Harp, Donaldsonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney L. and Flossie Babin Harp; two sisters, Myrtis Harp Landry and Shirley Harp Hebert; and a brother, Bennett R. Harp Sr. His principal pleasure was fishing with his nephew, Lee. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1087. Memorial donations may be made to Ascension Catholic Church Preservation Fund or Ascension Catholic Development Fund.

LOUPE, MARGARET LOUISE MELANCON
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Gonzales Health Care. She was 96, a native of St. Amant and longtime resident of Sorrento. interment in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Amant. Survived two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Loupe and Raymond and Phyllis Loupe; two sisters-in-law, Odile Melancon and Lou Melancon Ardoin; seven grandchildren, Jodi, Jason, Darren and Dausen Loupe, Stacey Davis, Susan Tarver and David Loupe; and six great-grandchildren, Chase and Casey Loupe, Jason Tarver Jr., Zachary Davis, Grant Loupe and Jackson Tarver. Preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Sylvester Loupe; parents, Henry and Annie Fairbanks Melancon; five sisters, Annie Louviere, Eunice Young, Edna Myers, Hazel Debate and Leona Jewell; and three brothers, Clinton, Dawson and Alan Melancon. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

PERCY, WILLIAM CONNER
A lifelong resident of Clinton and owner of Percy Agency Inc., he died Saturday, March 27, 2004. He was 79 and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Clinton. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jo C. Percy, Clinton; two daughters, Roxanne P. "Roxie" and husband Albert Rouchon, Madisonville, and Mary Elizabeth P. "Lissa" and husband David Gaffney, Prairieville; two sons, William Conner Jr. "Billy" and wife Darlene Helmers Percy, Lacombe, and Melville Roark "Mel" and wife Tori Taylor Percy, Baton Rouge; two stepdaughters, Jessica Thompson, Ethel, and Jennifer Hughes, Centreville, Miss.; a stepson, Troy and wife Theresa Gross, Ethel; 14 grandchildren, Taryn P. Terrell, Katie P. Bilello, Amanda R. Beter, Rachel Rouchon, Bridget Gaffney, Anna Gaffney, Jordan Percy, Amelia Percy, Ryan Delatte, Eric Wood, Chelsea Wood, Jared Thompson, Devin Hughes and Chase Hughes; and six great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Mae-gan and Makena Terrell, Olivia and Brandon Bilello and Marigny Beter. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Peggy Dial Percy; parents, Robert Ryland and Katherine Roark Percy; a sister, Mary Eugenia P. White ; and two brothers, Robert Ryland Percy Jr. and Edward Percy. Pallbearers will be Gerald Creed, Bob Howard, Ryland Percy, Adrian Percy, Eugene Percy, Albert Rouchon, David Gaffney, Ryan Delatte, Jared Thompson, Devin Hughes and Chase Hughes. He was a graduate of Clinton High School and LSU. He also served in the Louisiana Legislature. He was a deacon at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Liberty, Miss., and a member of the American Legion and Olive Lodge 3.

TROXCLAIR, EMMA GAYLE
A homemaker and a resident of Gonzales, she died Friday, March 26, 2004, in a car accident in St. Amant. Her husband, Vernon J. Troxclair, Passed away in the same accident. She was 66 and a native of Orange, Texas . Visiting at the Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Vic Panaligan and the Rev. Michael Dubreuil. interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. Survived by children and spouses, Emma Dea and Perry Guitreau, French Settlement, Blane and Kayne Troxclair, Eric Troxclair, Ruth and Chris Wilson and Sherri Troxclair, all of Gonzales; brother and sister-in-law, Lee "Buddy" and Ange Dean, Venton; and two grandchildren, Kari and Joshua Guitreau, both of French Settlement. Preceded in death by her father, Hugh Ferguson; mother, Jewel Courmier Dean; and stepdad, Leon S. Dean. Pallbearers will be Jay St. Amant, Carl Blanchard, Ryan Schexnayder, Pat Dixon, Dale Schexnaydre and Dennis Shroeder. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Gonzales.

TROXCLAIR, VERNON JOHN "SLIM" "ROOKIE" "PAW PAW"
A CMI construction operator and a resident of Gonzales, he died Friday, March 26, 2004, in a car accident in St. Amant. His wife, Emma Troxclair, Passed away in the same accident. He was 68 and a native of Mount Airy. Visiting at the Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 8 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Vic Panaligan and the Rev. Michael Dubreuil. interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. Survived by children and in-laws, Emma Dea and Perry Guitreau, French Settlement, Blane and Kayne Troxclair, Eric Troxclair, Ruth and Chris Wilson and Sherri Troxclair, all of Gonzales; brothers and sisters, Leola Laiche, Brittany, Ida Ann Corley, New Orleans, Arthemise Troxclair, Brittany, and Leon Troxclair and wife Blanche, Jefferson ; and two grandchildren, Kari and Joshua Guitreau, both of French Settlement. Preceded in death by parents, Louis Leon and Marie Melanie Schexnaydre Troxclair; sister, Florence Trosclair; and three brothers, Ralph, Earl and Norbert Troxclair. Pallbearers will be Darrell Laiche, Ralph Melancon, Kevin Troxclair, Greg Troxclair, Patrick Corley and Kenneth Trosclair. Honorary pallbearer is Dale Laiche. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Amant.
