Shreveport, LA - Mama left this world on Friday, January 11, 2013 to be with Jesus. We will celebrate her home going on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Lewis Jackson and son-in-law, Kenneth Jackson will preside over her funeral at the New Life Assembly of God in Vivian, LA. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church on Monday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Elizabeth Fritts; brothers, Raymond Ray and Charles Vaughn. Left to cherish her memory are son, Jerry McKeehan and wife, Linda; daughter, Rita Jackson and husband, Kenneth; son, Charles Foshee; brothers, Gilbert Fritts, Don Fritts and wife, Roma; sister, Ruth Brewer; grandsons, Jeremy McKeehan, Jerod McKeehan, Matthew McKeehan, Ethan Jackson; granddaughters, Carla Anderson and Ivy Foshee; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Amiaha and Aiden. Mom had a very special friend that she loved dearly, Mary Yarbrough.

Annie Pearl Farrar, 91, of Lillie, LA died January 12, 2013, in Ruston, LA, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born March 11, 1921 in Claiborne Parish, La. to Sturgess and Rosa Mae Goss Thompson. She graduated from Junction City High School where she played varsity basketball for 4 yrs. She received several offers from colleges to play basketball, but chose to marry Daniel Farrar instead. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Lillie,LA. She was a loving wife, mother, and care-giver to her parents, husband and son. She was a homemaker, and well-known for her cooking, and quilting. She sold Avon for 19yrs, was a substitute rural mail carrier, church custodian and helped in Lucille Farrar's grocery store.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, her husband, Daniel Farrar; brothers; Milam, Willie, Herbert and Dale Thompson, Uncles; Minor, Proctor, Wiley, Travis, Watson, Graydon and Clyde Goss and Fred, Roy, Vergil and Pete Thompson; Aunts; Lucille Goss Whitcomb, Mary Thompson Davis and Fannie Thompson Platt; Brothers-in-law, Wess, Roy, Tony and Sam Farrar; Sisters-in-law; Lucille and Gladys Farrar and Ethel Anderson; Niece; Janice Baker; nephews; Marlon Thompson and Ronnie Farrar.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas Jerry Farrar and wife Bobbie Nell of El Dorado; Billy Bruce Farrar of Lillie, LA and his special friend, Terri Travis of Minden, LA. Grand-daughter, Sharlane Adams and James; great grandchildren; Wes and Kayla Adams and great great granddaughter, Addison Adams all of West Monroe, LA Sisters; Peggy Morse of Sarepta, LA and Ruth Elle Taylor of Lillie
Brother; Everette Thompson and Helen of El Dorado. Nieces; Jeanette Fee and Patrick, Susan Beaird and Michael all of Minden, Donna Taylor of Lillie,Toni Ruth Taylor,Janelle Morrison and Randy all of Shreveport,Tonya White and Mike of El Dorado, Penny Farrar of Junction City, Rose Abery and Scott of Hartford, CT. Visitation will be Monday January 14, 2013 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Lillie, LA from 6-8 PM.
Services will be held at Union Grove Baptist Church in Lillie, LA on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Bro. Ken Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Whittington Watts, age 67, will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Bailey Funeral Home , Springhill, LA with Bro. Donald Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Springhill, LA under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Mrs. Watts was born on February 15, 1945 to Ray and Opal Hicks Whittington in Springhill, LA and passed away on January 10, 2013 in Vivian, LA. She was a member of the Baptist faith, was a homemaker and loved to fish. Mrs. Watts was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her five daughters, Mary Pool of Sarepta, LA, Jennifer Morgan and husband, Tommy of Parkton, NC, Tammy Perkins and husband, Bo of Shongaloo, LA, Terri Roper of Springhill, LA, Tonia Barnard of Guyton, GA; eight grandchildren, Russell Moore of Sarepta, LA, Tori Pool of Sarepta, LA, Tristan Morgan of Parkton, NC, Brad Deschler of Parkton, NC, Billy Houck Jr. of Springhill, LA, Lucy Houck of Springhill, LA, Larry Houck of Springhill, LA, Jeremy Barnard of Guyton, GA; two great-grandchildrens, Dawn Martin of Springhill, LA, Dillion Houck of Springhill, LA; sister, Kathleen Mitchell and husband, David of Atlanta, TX and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Opal Whittington; brother, Butch Whittington and sister-in-law, Dorothy Whittington.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lou Ellin Sexton, age 75, will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA.
Visitation will began Wednesday at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sexton was born May 15, 1937 in Rison, AR to Roy and Ruth Bolin Vines and passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in Bossier City, LA. She was a resident of Sarepta, LA since 1952, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Sexton was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Sexton and husband, Michael Davis of Choudrant, LA, Belinda Sexton Dumas and husband, Michael of Springhill, LA; son, Brian Sexton of Sarepta, LA, six grandchildren, Lauren Sexton-Davis, Jarod Sexton-Davis, Eric Sexton, Amy Beshea and husband, Dane, Seth Dumas, Kylee Dumas; three great grandchildren, Ethan, Hayden, Addy; sister, Carolyn Robinson of Springhill, LA; brother, Ralph Vines of Hampton, AR and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Algie Allen Sexton in 2003 and son Keith Allen Sexton in 1957.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Dumas, Michael Davis, Eric Sexton, Seth Dumas, Jarod Sexton-Davis and Dane Beshea.

Dorothy Lou Cameron, age 88 of El Dorado, passed from this life on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Oak Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in El Dorado. She was born on November 4, 1924 in Union County, AR to the late Edwin M. and Mary T. (Davis) Cameron. Lou was a Member of the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. She was a hard working woman, whom had many jobs in her life. She worked for Cooper Tire, El Dorado News Times, Martin DryCleaners and finally El Dorado Printing Company before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gloria Thurmon and by one nephew, David Thurmon.
Those left to cherish her memory include one nephew, John Thurmon and wife Lynn of El Dorado; brother in law, Willard Thurmon of El Dorado; two great nephews, Joshua Thurmon and Jeremiah Thurmon both of Sacramento, CA; one great niece, Courtney Machen of Missouri; two great great nieces and one great great nephew.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.
Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery near El Dorado, with Bro. Tommy Mellinger officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Bethel Cemetery Association.

Mrs. Cone was born October 2, 1930 to Euey Lee Dyer, Sr. and Alma Lillian Morgan Dyer in Taylor, AR and died Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Springhill, LA. She was a faithful member of the Butler Street Church of Christ and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Euey Lee Dyer, Jr.; and, husband, Kermit N. Cone on October 16, 2000.
She is survived by daughters, Rebecca “Becky” Cone, of Shreveport, LA; Retha Templin and husband, Chuck of Ft. Worth, TX; sons, Steve Cone and wife, Carol of Ovilla, TX; Kenneth Cone and wife, Jan of Bowling Green, KY; Tine H. Harrison of Arcadia, LA; grandchildren, Karen Wirz and husband, Fred; Charles Templin; Suzanne Carraway and husband, Andy; Jason Lawrence and wife, Jaymi; Lindsey Haubenreich and husband, James; Klay Cone and wife, Shannon; Stephanie Cone and husband Jarrod, Sean Arriola and Brianna Arriola; Tacie Farnham and husband, Lloyd; Kim Moak and husband Scott and 13 great-grandchildren.
