Herman Francisco, 84, of DeRidder, La., passed from this life on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
He was born May, 22 1930 in Mansura LA. to Emile and Ethel St. Romain Francisco. He later met and married
the love of his life, Dorothy Mae Davis Francisco and to this, 7 children was born. They later moved to DeRidder La. where he worked construction for many years, and later worked for the City of DeRidder. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and the Knight of Columbus.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Anita Smith, and Mary Lockhart; brother, Nelson Francisco; and daughter, Patricia Holmes.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Mae Davis Francisco; 4 sons, Nelson Ray Francisco of Moss Bluff, LA, Herman Francisco Jr. (Lydia) of DeRidder, LA, Freddy Francisco of DeRidder, LA, Isaac Francisco (Lashawnda) of Jasper TX; 2 daughters, Juanita Mayes (Larry) of DeRidder, LA, and Cora Johnson (Troy) of Laplace LA; 2 sisters, Margaret Archield of DeRidder, LA, and Rita Hurts of Alexandria, LA; 2 sisters-in-law, Rozella McPherson of Alexandria, LA, and Shirley Rigmaiden (Tommy) of Grand Prairie TX.; aunt, Dorothy Hollis of Mansura LA.; 30 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation and Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in DeRidder. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Rosary is at 10:30am. Father Jude Brunnert will officiate. Burial will follow at Beauregard cemetery.

John P. Smith, 89, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Riggs Smith.
Visitation and funeral services will be Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 3:00pm with funeral services beginning at 3:00pm. Burial will follow at Hennigan cemetery in Merryville, LA. Father Jude Brunnert will officiate.

Worth, TX, Cleo St. Romain and wife Patricia of DeRidder, LA, Kelvin St. Romain of DeRidder, LA, Kenneth “Kenny” St. Romain of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Audrey Harris & husband Curtis of DeRidder, LA, Deborah “Debbie” Smith and husband Charles of DeRidder, LA, Cynthia Colvin of DeRidder, LA; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Colbert & Mary Sampson; husband, George St. Romain; daughter, Brenda Stevenson; granddaughter, Kenyetta Colvin.
Funeral Services will be Monday, October 20, 2014 with Rosary beginning at 9:00am and Mass at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow in Beauregard cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
