Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Pete Chaumont ad wife Shelia of Rosepine, LA; daughters, Evelyn Seabourne of DeRidder, LA, and Mary Jane McFatter of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren, Christy Johnson, Brittany Chaumont, Justin Chaumont, Heather Warden, Shane Seabourne, Daniel McFatter, Jonathon McFatter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services are Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Beauregard cemetery in DeRidder.
Arvie Keel
January 2, 1937 - November 29, 2014
Arvie Keel, 77, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at his home. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Virginia Keel; son, Arvie Steve Keel and wife Mona of Livingston, LA; daughters, Diana Lynn Cotton and husband Randy of Yazoo, MS, and Donna Kay Brown and husband Robert of Ethel, LA; stepson, Scott Bohanon and wife Cissy; stepdaughters, Tonya Bohanon and Brigitta Fillingem all of Wilmer, AL; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvie and Mildred Keel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service is Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Foshee cemetery in Merryville, LA. Rev. Truman Keel will officiate.
John Price Sr.
July 28, 1931 - November 28, 2014
John Benjamin “JB” Price, Sr., 83, of DeRidder, LA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2014 surrounded by his family.
He was born in Frost, LA on July 28, 1931 to Georgia Lea and Angus Price. On May 18, 1952 he married
Doris Davis of Ponchatoula, LA. He served his country in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant and received a Commendation Medal in appreciation for his service in the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Federal employee, serving as Chief of Logistics and Contracting Officer for the United States Army Communications Command at Ft. Polk. He was a loving and faithful husband and father who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially gardening. He was known for his prized tomatoes and beautiful camellias.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Doris Price; two sons, John Benjamin Price, Jr. of Baton Rouge, Jay (Jay Bird) Price and wife Lisa of DeRidder; three daughters
Cheryl Watson and husband Randy of Denham Springs, Pam Gill and husband Ronnie of DeRidder, Jackie Stewart and husband Brian of Sulphur; one brother, Ralph Price and wife Nolane of Baton Rouge; one sister Gussie Davis and husband Leon (Rip) of Walker; 12 grandchildren, Mary Gibbons, Mark Watson, Tiffany Rogers, Tyler Gill, Victoria “Tori” Picou, Gage, Jacob, Sara Beth Stewart, Peyton Stewart, Aimee, Emelie, and Kathryn Price; and 1 great grandson Price Picou.
Preceding him in death were his parents, twin daughters Karen and Sharon Price, brothers Eddie “Buddy” Price, Angus M. Price, Jr. and Henry Price.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. with a Rosary at 7:00PM. Funeral services will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00AM at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home, Officiated by Father Jude Brunnert. Burial service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:00AM at Ponchatoula City cemetery in Ponchatoula, LA.
The family is deeply grateful for the excellent care given by Dr. Steven Farquhar, Dr. Robin Yue, the ICU nursing staff at Beauregard Memorial Hospital and the first responders.

Mary Joyce Cheatham, 69, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, November 27, 2014. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Sam Cheatham of DeRidder, LA; son, Aldon Cheatham and wife Leslie of Spring Hill, TN; three brothers, seven sisters, and grandchildren, Brady and Catherine Cheatham. She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Katie Lamb; and sister, Barbara Whitehead.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Beth-El Apostolic Church, 1918 N. Pine St., DeRidder, LA . Funeral service will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00pm at Beth-El Apostolic Church. Burial will follow in Beauregard cemetery in DeRidder. Bro. M.C. Green will officiate. Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Dean Fletcher
June 16, 1988 - November 26, 2014
Dean Fletcher Jr., 26, of New Orleans, LA, formerly of the DeRidder area, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Dean attended schools in DeRidder and Merryville. He loved music; especially singing and playing his guitar. Dean had a special interest in science. He was loved so much by everyone who knew him. Preceding Dean in death was his mother, Sabrina Lea Deason-Owens; and grandfather, Earl Fletcher. Survivors left to cherish his memories are his son, Dylan Turner Perkins-Fletcher; brother, Brent Lee Fletcher of DeRidder, LA; father, Sidney Dean Fletcher of Rosepine, paternal grandmother, Betty Fletcher; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Judy Deason of DeRidder; and uncle, Eric Deason of DeRidder, LA.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, Sunday, November 30, 2014 with services at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow at Blue Branch cemetery in Pitkin, LA. Rev. Sharon Harris will officiate.
Ima Keel
November 3, 1929 - November 26, 2014
Ima Violet Harbison Keel, 85, of DeRidder, LA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at her home. She was born to Henry and Sarah Jane Smith Harbison on November 3, 1929, at Burkeville, TX.
Ima was united in marriage to LeRoy L. Keel, March 16, 1946. To this union were born 3 sons and 2 daughters. Ima was a dedicated member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years, she was saved at the age of 17. She was treasurer of Old Cypress cemetery for many, many years. Ima was a faithful member of the Nursing Home Singers, visiting local homes twice a week. She enjoyed spending time with her multitude of friends and sisters in Christ, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, James “Dale” Keel and wife Judy of Aurora, MO, Donald Ray Keel “Donnie” of Wheaton, MO, and Danny LeRoy Keel and wife Beverly of Colby, KS; daughters, Linda Gale Hickman and husband Ellis of Yellville, AR, and Norma Jean Brown and husband Tony of Rosepine, LA; sister, Rachel Richmond of DeRidder, LA, brothers, Robert “Bob” Harbison and wife Versie of DeRidder, LA, and Gary Harrod and wife Janie of DeRidder, LA; she was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years; her parents; stepfather, Monroe Harrod; grandson; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

David Brian Maddox, 46, of Starks, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 3, 2014. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn Maddox; daughters, Jessica Stewart and Wendy Stewart all of Starks, LA; brother, Robert Wayne Maddox and wife Brenda of DeQuincy, LA; sisters, Tracy Maddox of Port Arthur, TX; grandson, Tommy Hayden Stewart; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Letha Maddox; and brother, Roger Dale Maddox.

Roger Roy, 63, of Sulphur, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 17, 2014. Roger was a 1969 graduate of Sulphur High School. He retired from Firestone Polymers and was owner and operator of J&R Carriage and Bord Du Lac Concessions.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Jarod Roy and wife Jamie of Westlake, LA; daughter, Kayla Roy of Westlake, LA; sisters, Patsy Roy of Sulphur, LA, and Barbara Woods and husband Charles of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Madison and Brady Roy; mother of his children, Sarah Roy; a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Craig Roy; and parents, Martin and Gerry Roy. The family will be holding a private memorial service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle White; parents, Rev. Persley and Lorena White; brothers, Joshua and Joseph White; sisters, Rosenia Jerry and Loretha White.
