Lois Jane Nutt Frith,75, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 28, 2017. She was born in Warren, Arkansas and spent her early years there, before her family moved to Louisiana. Her heart always remained in AR. She lived the last 46 years in Merryville, LA. She was married
for 53 years to Billy Frith until his death in 2012. Foremost in life she was a mother. She loved her children, grandchildren, and 8 great grandsons. She considered them all her children.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Allison Vaughn and husband Skipper of Merryville, LA, and Barbara Brown and husband Barry of Greensboro, NC; sister, Joyce Frith and husband Colise of Pollock, LA; brothers, Dale Nutt of DeRidder, LA and Donnie Nutt of Conway, AR; grandchildren, Grant Vaughn and wife Amanda of Merryville, LA, Clint Westergard and wife Anna of Raleigh, NC, Jeremy Brook Vaughn of Dallas, TX, Amanda Stoufflet and husband Josh of Morehead, NC, Summer Vaughn of Merryville, LA, and Destiny Mayeux and husband Jeremy of Pineville, LA; great grandsons, Hunter Vaughn, Breeland Vaughn, George Westergard, Grayson Jett, Brycen Vaughn, Remi Mayeux, Ethan Westergard, and Sawyer Mayeux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Frith; parents, Roy and Hester Nutt; sisters, Doris Diamond, Dorothy Anderson, Margaret McBroom, and Lavon Bruton; brothers, Robert, Bill, and Doyle Nutt; and grandson Bradley Shawn Westergard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 5:00 PM – to 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Latter Day Saints Chapel in West Monroe, LA. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove cemetery in West Monroe, LA.
High Priest Jack Jameson will officiate.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Allen and wife Linda and Mark Wayne Allen and wife Kelley both of Merryville, LA; brothers Jimmy Karr and wife Lillian of Dequincy, LA, Larry Jo Karr and wife Carolyn of Merryville, LA, Dr. Leonard Henry McWilliams, Jr. and wife Cindy of DeRidder, LA; sister, Eva Stark and husband Pard of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Heather Pardue, Matthew Allen, Cameron Allen, and a host of family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George W. Allen III; parents, Leonard H. and Delores McWilliams and sister, Sherry Deason.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017, from 5:00-9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at 2:00 PM also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home with Apostle Michael Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Merryville cemetery in Merryville, LA.

She served her country as a nurse in the United States Army and proudly served in Okinawa during the Vietnam conflict.

Lormayne William “Billy” Wunschel, 79, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, September 18, 2017.
Mr. Wunschel was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Dorschlen; father, William Gustav Wunschel; step-mom, Florence Wunschel; half-brother, HarryRudisill; two half-sisters, Orena Graham and Phyllis Windham.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Margaret Wunschel of Merryville, LA; sons, Greg Wunschel and Ricky Wunschel (Ashley) all of Merryville, LA; grandsons, Aaron Wunschel (Emily) of DeRidder, LA, Darren Wunschel of Merryville, LA, and Austin, Dawson and Noah Wunschel of Merryville, LA; sister Nelda Bevins (Roger) of Riverside, CA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at First Apostolic Church in Merryville, LA from 5-9 PM and from 10 AM until time of service at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 also at First Apostolic Church. Burial will follow at Merryville cemetery in Merryville, LA. Reverend Guy Snyder, Reverend Joe Clay and Reverend Roy Nash will officiate.
Mr. Wunschel had 43 years of service with Temple Inland Forest Products. He loved John Deere Tractors, enjoyed the outdoors and working in the yard.
He was a “family man” who loved his family dearly and had an extra special spot for his grandsons.
He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
