Antonia R. "Grandma Toni" Wilson, a homemaker, died Wednesday of heart failure at Tulane Medical Center. She was 84. Ms. Wilson was born in Biloxi, Miss., and lived in New Orleans for many years. She was a deaconess at Beacon Light Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, George and Dennis Miller; a daughter, Betty M. Smith; a sister, Lorita Jones; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Beacon Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1937 Mirabeau Ave. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave. Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Neil Williams was stillborn Sunday at Baton Rouge General Hospital. Survivors include his mother, Tenell Williams; a brother, Davion Garrnet; and his grandparents, Laura Williams and Aubrey Junior. A funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 West Bank Expressway, Marrero. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery in Gretna.

Jason David Swindler Jr., an infant, died Sept. 21 of undetermined causes at Chalmette Medical Center. He was 5 months old. Survivors include his father, Jason D. Swindler Sr.; his mother, Carmen Ramirez; a sister, Ariana N. Swindler; two grandfathers, Robert Ramirez and David Swindler; a step-grandfather, Kenneth Blum; two grandmothers, JoAnn Ramirez and Michele Blum; a step-grandmother, Mary Swindler; and three great-grandmothers, Louise C. Hymel, Junerose P. Swindler and Constance C. Sensebe. A funeral was held Sept. 22 at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home in Chalmette. Burial was in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.

Lawrence Breaux, a retired employee of St. Charles Grain Elevator, died June 6 of cancer at Doctors Hospital of Jefferson. He was 75. Mr. Breaux was born in Seller and lived in New Sarpy for the past 50 years. He was a Navy veteran. He was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Vernon Dell Breaux; two daughters, Mae Beth Washington and Debra Lee Breaux; four stepsons, Donald, Ronald, Dwayne and Anthony Myers; three stepdaughters, Jacqueline Marshall, Patricia Davis and Antoinette Myers; four brothers, Edward Chatman and Troy, Michael and Lanis Breaux; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church, 2200 Kenner Ave., Kenner. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in New Sarpy cemetery. N.A. Sylvester Smiley Beasley, a laborer, died June 8 of complications from a seizure at Touro Hospital. He was 52. Mr. Beasley was born in Georgetown, Miss., and lived in New Orleans for the past 50 years. He attended James Lewis Elementary School and Carter G. Woodson Middle School, and graduated from Walter L. Cohen High School. He was a member of Second True Light Baptist Church and New Home Missionary Baptist Church. He was a Marine Corps veteran; he served in Vietnam. Survivors include his mother, Bertha Beasley; two brothers, Willie Ellis of Hazelhurst, Miss., and Frankie James; and a sister, Lula Beasley Stewart. A funeral will be held today at 7 p.m. at Majestic Mortuary, 1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Dismissal will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a service at noon at New Hope Baptist Church in Georgetown. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Maggie Griffin Batiste, a child-care provider, died Wednesday of cardiac arrest at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 61. Mrs. Batiste was born in Franklin and lived in New Orleans for more than 40 years. She graduated from Willow Street High School. She had worked for the Orleans Parish School Board and Dengates Sewing Factory. She was a member of James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and its hospitality committee. Survivors include her husband, Frank Batiste; a daughter, Lavinzale Denise Batiste; and a brother, Melvin Griffin Sr. A funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at James Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 4228 Thalia St. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Resthaven cemetery. Ricky Luke Barthelemy Sr., a laborer for Severn Trent Services, died Monday of cancer at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 43. Mr. Barthelemy was born in New Orleans and lived in Port Sulphur. He attended Port Sulphur High School. Survivors include his wife, Carla Ancar Barthelemy; three sons, Derek and Ricky Barthelemy Jr. and Paul Sylve Jr.; three daughters, Brandy Johnson, Ashley Rogers and Taylor Ancar; three brothers, Joseph, Gerald and Anthony Barthelemy; three sisters, Mary Picquet, Debra Carter and Theresa Barthelemy; and four grandchildren. Shirley Mae Penn Antoine, a homemaker, died Monday of cancer at Life Care Medical Center of Chalmette. She was 59. Mrs. Antoine was born in Independence and lived in New Orleans for the past 49 years. Survivors include a son, Gregory Antoine of San Antonio; two daughters, Brandy Jackson of Baton Rouge and Judy Antoine; three brothers, Mickey Penn of Houston, Samuel Penn and John Penn; a sister, Maxine Neams of Kenner; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be private.

Amy Anne Jaskolka, a portrait artist, died Jan. 24 in Merida, Mexico. She was 32. Ms. Jaskolka was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a magna cum laude graduate of Loyola University and had a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Survivors include her father, Robert Julian Jaskolka; her mother, Mary Drouant Jaskolka; a sister, Lisa Marie Jaskolka; and her grandmother, Mary Pepe Drouant. Burial was Feb. 2 in Hope Mausoleum.

Albertha Catherine Deeters Bonin, a homemaker, died Wednesday at Chalmette Medical Center. She was 92. Mrs. Bonin was born in New Orleans and lived in Chalmette for many years. Survivors include two sons, Glen and Walter J. Bonin Jr.; three daughters, Albertha Wallace, Shirley Mevers and Evelyn Hubbard; a sister, Madeline Campagna; and 11 grandchildren. A funeral was held Friday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Burial was in Lake Lawn Park cemetery.

Warren C. Martin, a former merchant seaman, died Friday of cirrhosis of the liver at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 49. Mr. Martin was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include his mother, Eloise Jacobs; his stepfather, James Jacobs; and a brother, Edwin D. Henry Willie Lee, a self-employed laborer, died Tuesday at Touro Shakspeare Nursing Home. He was 53. Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He graduated from Booker T. Washington Senior High School. Survivors include his wife, Dianne Lee; three sons, Bryant and Shaun Lee and Jeffrey Thompson; three daughters, Charlita Thompson and Danielle and Katasha Lee; and four brothers, Reginald, Herbert, Gregory Sr. and Darryl Lee. Services were private.

Brian James "B.J." Kinchen, a 2-month-old infant, died Friday of pneumonia at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a resident of Marrero. Survivors include his mother, Lisa Burks Kinchen; his father, Brian Kinchen; five sisters, Iriane Burks, Sabrina Allen and Keisha, Brianesha and Irinesha Kinchen; his grandmothers, Marian Burks and Katherine Kinchen; his grandfather, Arthur Kinchen; and his great-grandmother, Clara Burks. A graveside service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Baptist Church cemetery, 241 Robinson Ave., Marrero. Davis Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
