Ferdinand Aubert Jr., a self-employed plasterer, died Tuesday at Lakeland Medical Center. He was 86. Mr. Aubert was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a Merchant Marine. Survivors include two brothers, John and Emile Aubert; three sisters, Gloria A. Jordan, Hilda Frederick and Geraldine Martin. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Raymond Catholic Church, 3738 Paris Ave. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery. D.W. WOMACK, WILLIAM LEE

William Lee Womack, a truck driver, died Nov. 19 of cancer at his home. He was 49. Mr. Womack was born in Kentwood and lived in New Orleans for many years. He was a former employee of LaFarge Corp. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Robinson Womack; two daughters, Whitley Marie and Wyneisha Frances Womack; his mother, Larrine Womack; eight brothers, Issac Womack of Baton Rouge, and Roosevelt Jr., Rommell, William, Charles, James, Milton and Johnny Womack; two sisters, Cindy Womack of Kentwood and Laura Harthone . A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Methodist Church, 1925 Ursuline Ave. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Tilly's Funeral Home, 2831 St. Claude Ave., and Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park cemetery.
McDOUGALL, BEVERLY M.

Beverly M. McDougall, an accountant for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Finance and Management, National Finance Center, died Saturday of complications from lung cancer. She was 53. Ms. McDougall was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a former employee of the St. Bernard Parish School Board. She was a member of Carolyn Park Presbyterian Church and the Chalmette High School Alumni Association. Survivors include three sons, Ray Lauga Jr., Chad Michael Lauga and Justin Joseph Lauga; a daughter, Wendy Ann Thibodeaux; her father, Ralph J. McDougall; her mother, Beverly Ives McDougall; a brother, Wayne J. McDougall; a sister, Susan M. Triche; and a grandchild. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette. Visitation will be today from 7 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Patricia Ann Walker Jeanpierre, a clerk with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, died Tuesday of heart failure at Tulane Medical Center. She was 43. Mrs. Jeanpierre was born in Lettsworth and lived in Kenner for the past 14 years. Survivors include her husband, Ray Jeanpierre; a son, Brandon Jeanpierre; a stepdaughter, D'wan Jeanpierre; her father, Taylor Walker Sr.; her mother, Rosie Mae Walker; three brothers, Melvin Walker Sr., Taylor Walker Jr. and Fredrick Walker; two sisters, Glenda Walker and Rose Hartford; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, 817 Grefer Ave., Harvey. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Garden of Memories cemetery. Bobby "Buddy" Frierson, a floor mechanic, died Friday of undetermined causes at his home. He was 41. Mr. Frierson was born in Picayune, Miss., and lived in Pearl River for the past year. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Polk Frierson; three sons, Brandon, Justin and Shannon Frierson; a brother, Timothy Frierson; a sister, Darlene Kennedy; and a grandmother, Louise Cochran. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana 411, Pearl River. Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethlehem cemetery in Hickory.

Shirley Lorio Abadie, a retired custodian for the West Jefferson Levee District, died Friday of cancer at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was 62. Ms. Abadie was born in Westwego and lived in Bridge City for the past 35 years. Survivors include four sons, Glenn M., Keith R., Roy R. and Arthur A. Abadie Jr.; a daughter, Tammy Abadie Englade; a brother, Norbert Lorio; a sister, Betty Lorio Bazile; and four grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park cemetery, Gretna.

Terrence Allan "Terry" Dunn, retired vice president of Coastal Engineering, died Thursday of heart failure at his home. He was 56. Mr. Dunn was born in Hattiesburg, Miss., and lived in Metairie and River Ridge for many years. He retired from Coastal Engineering after 30 years. Survivors include a sister, Ima Kathryn Firth of Moss Point. A graveside service was Saturday at Highland cemetery. Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg was in charge of arrangements.

Shirley B. Braselman, a retired Realtor associate and research manager, died Saturday at Lambeth House. He was 83. Mr. Braselman was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and a graduate of the University of Virginia. He was in the Naval Supply Corps in World War II and rose to the rank of lieutenant commander. He was a former mortgage salesman for J. Burrows Johnson and Standard Mortgage Corp. and a former real estate salesman for Waguespack Pratt and Hogan. He was a former vice president, executive vice president and president of American Creosote Works Inc. He also was president and board member of the American Wood Preservers Institute and the Southern Pressure Treaters Association; founder and board member of the Louisiana Wood Preservers Council; executive committee member of the American Wood Preservers Association, the Wood Preserving Industry Association and the American National Metric Council; delegate of the Economic Council of the Forest Products Industry; and board member of the Louisiana Manufacturers Association, Construction Industry Association of New Orleans and New Orleans Wood Council. He was a former trustee of the Arts Council of New Orleans, Saint George's Episcopal School and the New Orleans Museum of Art; former president and board member of the Orleans Gallery; and former director of the Chamber of Commerce and the International House. He was a member of the Louisiana Club, New Orleans Country Club and several Carnival organizations. He received the New Orleans Art Council Chairman's Award in 2000. Survivors include his wife, Lin Emery Braselman, and a son, Brooks Braselman. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1329 Jackson Ave. His body was donated to Tulane University Medical Center. Calvin Jules Blackburn Jr., a custodian, died Thursday of a heart attack at Tulane University Hospital. He was 42. Mr. Blackburn was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He attended Warren Easton High School and was a former employee of Goodwill Industries. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Harris Blackburn; a son, Calvin Blackburn III; a daughter, Rachel Ann Blackburn; his father, Calvin Jules Blackburn Sr.; his mother, Lola Bee Feltus; a brother, Darrel Feltus; and four sisters, Capa Windchester, Terry Blackburn, and Angelina and Tamika Feltus. A funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Methodist Church of Louisiana, 1925 Ursuline Ave. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Love and Charity cemetery in Kenner. Sophie Beard, a homemaker, died Tuesday at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was 91. Mrs. Beard was born in Napoleonville and lived in Madisonville. Survivors include a son, Edward Beard; a daughter, Creola Beard; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A funeral was Saturday at N.A. James Funeral Home in Hammond. Burial was in Cooper cemetery in Robert.

Gary J. Vicknair Sr., a retired firefighter with the New Orleans Fire Department, died Thursday of cancer at his home. He was 60. Mr. Vicknair was born in Thibodeaux and lived in Avondale for many years. Survivors include his wife, Marzell McQuiston Vicknair; three sons, Steven, C.J. and Gary Vicknair Jr.; three daughters, Michelle Gaillot, Janelle Prechter and Dar Chandler; a sister, Linda Brack; and six children. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 West Bank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Restlawn cemetery.

Evelyn Anna Esteves Thiel, a homemaker, died Sunday at Chalmette Medical Center. She was 82. Mrs. Thiel was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include her husband, Matthew Thiel; a daughter, Evelyn Anna Boreros; two brothers, Earl and Joseph Esteves; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral was Monday. Richard Joseph Roth, an investor, died Sunday of congestive heart failure at his home. He was 88. Mr. Roth was born in New Orleans and lived in Bay St. Louis, Miss., for the past five years. Roth of New Orleans, James Frederick Roth of Covington, Brian David Roth of Mandeville and Camors Christopher Roth; three daughters, Yvonne Roth Gelpi of New Orleans, Alice Roth Morgan of Waveland, Miss., and Kathleen G. Roth of Mandeville; a brother, Donald Roth of New Orleans; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
