Lee G. Cannon Sr., a retired automotive salesman, died Saturday in Baton Rouge. He was 81. Mr. Cannon was born in New Orleans and lived in Baton Rouge. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mavis Duclos Cannon; a son, Paul Cannon; three daughters, Cheryl Brown, Mary Evans of Walker and Betty Goff of Savannah, Ga.; two half brothers, Joseph and Frank Cannon; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at Greenoaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.
CROSSLEY, MARY MARCELL TOLLIVER

Mary Marcell Tolliver Crossley, a homemaker, died Wednesday of heart failure at Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital. She was 80. Mrs. Crossley was born in Sicily Island, La., and lived in New Orleans for the past 42 years. Survivors include a son, Ellis Lee Crossley Sr.; two daughters, Georgia Crossley Price and Lucy Crossley Spencer; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Second Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2108 St. Anthony St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park. McDONOGH, THOMAS CASPER JR.

Thomas Casper McDonogh Jr., a retired bus driver, died Friday at Kenner Regional Medical Center. He was 77. Mr. McDonogh was born in New Orleans and lived in Kenner for the past 25 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific. Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Miller McDonogh; two sons, Edward and Thomas C. McDonogh III; three daughters, Shirley M. Strehle and Mary T. and Patricia McDonogh; a sister, Shirley M. Lazaro; and five grandchildren. A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery No. 1.
DUNLAP, DR. WILLIAM P.

Dr. William P. Dunlap, a psychology professor at Tulane University, died Thursday of lung cancer at his home. He was 60. Dr. Dunlap was born in Boston and lived in New Orleans for 57 years. He attended Isidore Newman School and earned his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from Tulane, where he began teaching in the psychology department in 1969. He wrote or contributed to more than 150 articles, was a member of the editorial boards of numerous journals, and was a statistical consultant for companies around the world. Dr. Dunlap's specialty was qualitative methods, statistics and research design, and he had an international reputation as a teacher and researcher. Survivors include his wife, Leann Myers; two daughters, Susan E. Dunlap and Anne Dunlap Hull; and two brothers, Charles and John Dunlap. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bultman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Anthony James Crifasi, a retired truck driver, died Wednesday at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 79. Mr. Crifasi was born in St. Bernard and lived in Westwego for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Judy L. Helmer; a brother, Joseph Crifasi; a sister, Virginia Rodrigue; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 9 a.m. at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 West Bank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will begin at 7 a.m. Burial will be in Restlawn Park.

Roberta P. McCabry Cassanova, a retired sales clerk for the former Maison Blanche department store, died Feb. 18 of an aortic aneurysm at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. She was 84. Mrs. Cassanova was born in New Orleans and lived in Algiers for the past 20 years. She won The Times-Picayune Spelling Ace award while in high school. Survivors include four sons, Robert, John David, Martial and Oswald Cassanova Jr.; two daughters, Jean Cassanova Faulk and Betty Ann Cassanova; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. TROSCLAIR, DONNELL A. ‘DONALD'

Donnell A. "Donald" Trosclair, a retired commercial fisherman, died Thursday at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was 88. Mr. Trosclair was born in Biloxi, Miss., and lived in St. Bernard Parish since 1945. He spent time as a merchant mariner and petty officer aboard sea-going vessels. Survivors include a son, Henry Trosclair; five daughters, Rita Trosclair, Eleanor LeFebvre, Katherine Mae Stribling, Ruth O'Quin and Irene Sarran; a sister, Ella Mae Papusha; 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.

John Thomas Rondeno Jr., a financial planner and business owner with J. Thomas Rondeno and Associates, died Thursday of respiratory failure at Lakeland Medical Center. He was 58. Mr. Rondeno was born in Donaldsonville and lived in New Orleans for many years. He was a former employee of Big Easy Rental and the Orleans Parish Civil Sheriff's Office. He had been a member of the Republican State Central Committee. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Alexis Rondeno; four sons, Joshua Thomas, Jonathan Thomas and John A. Rondeno, and Berwyn B. Smith; two daughters, Joan Deneen Rondeno Gaudet and Deidra Rondeno; his mother, Louisa Butler Rondeno; two brothers, Butler J. and Andrew S. Rondeno; five sisters, Elouise R. King, Joan R. Perry, Elsie R. Joseph, and Margo M. and Crystal A. Rondeno; and two grandchildren. A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Faith Church, 13123 Interstate 10 Service Road. Rita Carriere Hartenstein DeLuca, a bartender for the Evangeline Lounge, died Sunday at Life Care Hospital. She was 77. Mrs. DeLuca was born in New Orleans and lived in Arabi for the past 20 years. She was a former bartender for the Ole Tyme Saloon. Survivors include three daughters, Susan Egan, Sandra Lore and Sharon LaBiche; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul cemetery No. 1.

Rosalie Palazzolo Conrad, a homemaker, died Sunday of liver cancer at Metropolitan Hospice. She was 80. Mrs. Conrad was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a member of the Busy Bee Club. Survivors include a son, Joseph B. Conrad; two daughters, Dawn C. Leggio and Barbara C. Latapie; two sisters, Josephine Repak and Gennie Stauter; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Wednesday at noon at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul cemetery No. 2.
STEWART, GEORGE

George Stewart, a retired engineer, died Thursday at Slidell Memorial Hospital. He was 77. Mr. Stewart was born in New Orleans and lived in Slidell. He was a staff sergeant during World War II and received the Good Conduct Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations Medal, the Philippines Medal, the Bronze Star and the Bronze Arrowhead. He was a graduate of Jesuit High School, attended Tulane University and was a graduate of Loyola University. He was a former employee of Gulf Engineering Co. of New Orleans and Raymond International Inc. He was a lifelong member of the Southern Yacht Club and a former member of the American Welding Society and the New Orleans Machinists Union. Survivors include his wife, Imelda Bruno Stewart; two sons, David W. and Dod S. Stewart; two daughters, Hope and Mary Stewart Morse; three stepdaughters, Dinah Trahan Stewart, Karen Trahan Baye and Dolly Trahan Reeves; and 11 grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park.
