WILDSVILLE, LA - Services for Melvin Fay Sanson, 77, of Wildsville, who died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. today at Evangeline Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Johnson and the Rev. Gary Wagoner officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home Jonesville, LA.
He was a forklift driver for International Paper Company in Natchez for 33 years and served in the United States Air Force.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born May 30, 1962, in Houston, TX.

BATON ROUGE, LA - Services for W. Audley Gordon Jr., 77, of Zachary, LA, who died Sunday, April 18, 2004, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home Chapel of Baton Rouge with Nick Kalivoda officiating.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Natchez City cemetery with the Rev. Diane Woodall officiating.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Rabenhorst Funeral Home of Baton Rouge.
He was a retired Highway Department real estate appraiser for the State of Louisiana and was a member of the Nick Kalivoda Bible Class.
Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Jewel Gordon.
He is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews including Rose Jeanne Roussel, Jack Darsey, Juanita Heine Hargrove, Brenda Heine Hernandez, Ruth Starnes Smith, Dale Baringer, Barbara Baringer, Inos Lee Brumfield and Dorothy Mae Williams.
Pallbearers will be James Whittington, John Dickerson, Elliott Brumfield and John Cain.

MELDER, LA - Services for James M. "Jim" Squyres, 49, of Copperas Cove, TX and formerly of Lake St. John, LA, who died Friday, April 16, 2004, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pine Ridge Baptist Church of Melder with the Rev. Karl Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Melder cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Lake St. John Community Baptist Church.
Mr. Squyres was born July 18, 1954, in Natchitoches, LA, the son of James Earl Squyres and Mary Lou Saxon Squyres.
He was a former resident of Lake St. John and Anchorage, AK and was currently a resident of Copperas Cove, TX. He was a member of the Lake St. John Community Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1974. He had been a security guard for International Paper Co. and Natchez Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Squyres was preceded in death by his father, James Earl "Sam" Squyres.
Survivors include daughter, April Dawn Watson of Kenai, AK; mother, Mary Lou Squyres of Lake St. John; brother, E. Merlin Squyres and wife, Mary of Natchitoches; sister, Larla McInnis and husband, Butch of Shreveport, LA; fiance', Cindy Geers of Temple, TX; eight nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.

She was a retired domestic worker, was a resident of New Orleans for 53 years, received a G.E.D. from Carter G. Wilson and was a mid-day usher and member of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her parents, Almaron Isaac and Elizabeth Williams; her husband, Matthew Conner; and one sister, Althea Sewell.
Survivors include one aunt, who raised her, Mary Pearl White; four sons, Calvin Matthew, George Almaron, James Lee and Jerry Lee Conner; one daughter, Thelma Jean Conner Williams of Atlanta; one stepdaughter, Mildred Hawkins; two sisters, Patricia Isaac and Edna Smith; one brother, Robert Lee Sewell; four nieces, Lillie, Elizabeth, Eva and Yvonne; one son-in-law, Lawrence Williams of Atlanta; two daughters-in-law, Cheryl and Gaynell Conner; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

BATON ROUGE, LA - Services for Dorothy Marron Wampold, 87, of Baton Rouge, who died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, was held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 29 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church where the Revs. Miles Walsh, Cleo Milano and Vic Messina officiated.
Graveside services were held at the Natchez City cemetery.
Mrs. Wampold was born Feb. 18, 1915, in Waterproof, La., the daughter of John Edward Marron and Hattie Rucker Marron.
She was a native of Waterproof and was a resident of Baton Rouge for 32 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford Wampold; a son, John Marron Wampold; her parents; a grandson, Stephen Brannin Wampold; and a sister, Cecile Marron Herron.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Monsour and her husband, Walter; three sons, Milford Wampold Jr. and his wife, Vanessa, Dr. Mervin H. Wampold and his wife, Alice and Dr. Richard L. Wampold and his wife, Julie; one sister, Jean Marron Rountree and her husband, Percy, both of Vidalia; one brother, Harold Alman Marron and his wife, Bess, both of Vidalia; grandchildren, Mike Wampold, Britt Wampold, Leslie Corry and her husband, Michael of Lafayette, Brian Wampold, Elizabeth Helm and her husband, William, Suzanne Prescott and her husband, Sam, Dr. Jan Wampold and her husband, Dr. Brian Petit, Mervin Wampold Jr. of Washington, D.C., Jeff Wampold, Scott Wampold and his wife, Diana of Miami, Trey Monsour and his wife, Sara, Jordan Monsour, Michael Monsour of New Orleans, Marron Monsour and his wife, Kristy of New Orleans, Lauren Wampold of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Meghan Wampold, Morgan Wampold, Evan Wampold and Logan Smith; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Garrison was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her father; two daughters, Letitia Riley of Vidalia and LaShea Riley of Baton Rouge; four brothers, the Rev.
