FERRIDAY, LA - Services for Lester Scott, 93, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Ferriday, will be at 11 a.m. today at Morning Star Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Johnny Hollins officiating.
Burial will be in the Natchez City cemetery under the direction of Williams and Williams.
Mr. Scott was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Louisiana, the son of Doyle Scott and Anna Lee.
He was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a member and Deacon of St. Mary Baptist Church of Lake St. John, LA.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Scott of Ferriday; four daughters, Rosa B. Anderson of Spokane, WA, Sherry White of Vidalia, LA, Donetta Walker of Milwaukee, WI and Carmen Chatman of Ferriday; one son, Lester Scott Jr. of Houston, TX; four sisters, Josephine Scott and Marie Gordon of New Orleans, LA, Ethel Scott of Ferriday and Gloria Roberts of New Orleans; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Irma Lee Tucker
FERRIDAY, LA - Services for Irma Lee Tucker, 86, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at Riverland Medical Center Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. today at Young's Funeral Home Chapel of Ferriday with the Rev. Clyde Ray Webber officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home Ferriday.
She was a legal secretary and a Baptist.
Mrs. Tucker was preceded in death by he mother, Agnes Buckley Sibley; her father, John R. Sibley, Sr.; three brothers, Melville Buckly Sibley, James Paul Sibley and John R. Sibley, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth Harris of Chattanooga, TN and one brother, Chuck Sibley of Ferriday.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Gabrielle and Aarielle Williams-Jordan
FERRIDAY, LA - Graveside services for Gabrielle (4 days) and Aarielle (1 day) Williams, who died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ferriday cemetery.
Gabrielle and Aarielle are the infant twin daughters of Louis Jordan and Shamika Williams.

He was formerly of Jonesville, was an electrician and was a Baptist. He was a member of the United States Army.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Bennett was born June 16, 1925, in Mangham, LA, the daughter of Edgar J. and Myrtle M. Crawford.
She was a resident of Ferriday since 1949, was a homemaker and a member of the Sevier Memorial United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonita Bennett Parker; son-in-law, Gus Parker; and a brother, Eldred Crawford.
Survivors include her husband, William P. Bennett of Ferriday; grandson, William Guy Parker of Ft. Worth, TX; two brothers, Elvin Crawford of West Monroe, LA and Melvin Crawford of Rayville, LA; two sisters, Maxine Upton of Brookhaven and L. Marie Jarratt of Bossier City, LA.

She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Bass; two sons, Bobby Bass and Kirby Bass; father, William Jones; and mother, Josephine Jones.
Survivors include two daughters, Terri and Glenn Harper of Ferriday and Edna and Buck Collins of Natchez; two sons, Travis and Beverly Bass of Ferriday and Roy Bass of Natchez; sister, Nola Lomax of Independence, LA; six grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bass, John Harper, Philip Harper, Carey Watson, Ronnie Blaney and Tony Tullos.

Mr. Emery was born March 30, 1935, in Natchez, the son of Aristead and Adeline Williams Emery.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine Johnson of Natchez and Rosie Miller Crear (Rodney) of Garland, TX; one brother, Willie Emery (Edna) of Vidalia; one sister, Helen Feltus of New Orleans; three grandchildren, Johnathan Green and James Carradine, Jr. of Dallas, TX and Jasmine Johnson of Natchez; and a number of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Harris was born June 23, 1915, in Ferriday.
He was a construction worker and served in the U.S. Army.
