William Gilbert Adams
William Gilbert Adams, age 76, of Laurel Road, London, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born July 30, 1928, in Maysville, Kentucky, he worked for the Department of Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Inez Hamm Adams and Franklin Pierce Adams; his first wife, Magdalene Spurlock Adams; and one brother, Jim Adams.
Survivors include his second wife, Jewell Howard Adams of London, Kentucky; children Linda Cromer, Barbara Mullins, Mark Adams, Charles Adams, James Loughran, Jeff Loughran, all of London, Kentucky, Thomas Adams of Louisville, Kentucky, and Jo Lynn Stiles of Campbellsville, Kentucky; a brother, Frank Adams of Hazard, Kentucky; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, December 17, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hershal Walker and the Rev. Marvin Cross officiating.
Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park at London.
Charles "Bud" Stanley
Charles "Bud" Stanley, age 67, of Kentucky Court, Monroe, Michigan, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2004, at the Mercy Memorial Hospital.
He was a son to the late Maggie (North) and Charles Stanley, was preceded in death by his first wife, Lizzie Dee Stanley, and is survived by his second wife, Mildred (Herrell) Stanley of Monroe, Michigan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, December 17, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Locust Grove Cemetery
at Keavy, Kentucky.

Deloris O. Buck, age 80, of Mill Street, London, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 10, 2004, at her residence.
Born December 19, 1923, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was a retired bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, America McFadden Overbey and John Martin Overbey; her first husband, Ezekiel Bowling, and second husband, Ambrose J. Buck; and a brother, John Martin Overbey.
Survivors include sons Ezekiel C. Bowling of London, Kentucky, and Robert E. Bowling of Paducah, Kentucky; sisters and brothers Beulah Farmer Lykins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lorine Brock and Carol Schell Arnold of London, Kentucky, Joan Weaver and Kenneth Overbey of Hamilton, Ohio, Jack Overbey of Phoenix, Arizona, and Tony Overbey of West Chester, Ohio; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, December 13, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Huff officiating.
Burial followed in the Rough Creek Cemetery.
