William Thomas Claypool, 78, of Cynthiana, died Monday at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. He was a retired farmer and a member of Clarks Creek Baptist Church, Dry Ridge.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Louise Thomas Claypool; a son, Billy Ray Claypool of Williamstown; daughters, Garnetta Rork of Crittenden, Ruby Shelton of Cynthiana and Joyce Hensley of Cordova; a brother, Julius Claypool of Williamstown; sisters, Effie Daniel of Ft. Mitchell and Flossie Hering of Morrow, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Drake Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.

Mary Conner, 80, of Ft. Thomas died at 12:24 p.m. March 18 at Highlands of Ft. Thomas. She was a retired administrator with American Financial.

Winford Evans, 73, of Corinth, died Tuesday at his home. He was a farmer and a former machine operator with Phillips Manufacturing Co., Williamstown. He was a truck driver with Grant County Road Department and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rena Vay Sexton Evans; sons, Winford Keith Evans of Louisville, Scott Evans of Berea and Robert Evans of Corinth; a brother, Billy Ray Evans of Corinth; a sister, Christine Griffin of Erlanger; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.

Gladys Marie Maye Lancaster, 77, of Cynthiana, died Monday at Columbia Hospital, Lexington. She was a homemaker and a member of Boyers Chapel United Methodist Church, Cynthiana, and Sadieville Senior Citizens. Her husband, Clarence Reed Lancaster, died in 1981.
Survivors include a sister, Ann Frances Parker of Cynthiana.

Edna R. Baker Mitchell, 76, of Covington, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. She was a retired waitress with Old Vegas Club and several local nightclubs.
Survivors include a son, Stanley Conley of Covington; her mother, Lillie Baker of Covington; sisters, Dottie Mullins of California and Barbara Wehrman of Latonia; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

William Ott, 82, of Highland Heights, died at 6:51 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas. He was a retired supervisor with Cincinnati Gas & Electric Co.
Survivors include his wife, Arvella Carter Ott.

James Sylvester Slaughter, 84, of Newport, died Sunday at Providence Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a retired employee of Interlake Steel, Newport. His wife, Geneva Slaughter, died in 1992.

Harold Taylor, 83, of Covington, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. He was a retired employee of Michael Art Bronze Co., Ft. Wright, and a member of St. James A.M.E. Church, Covington. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 166. His wife, Ruth Taylor, died in 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Estella Stewart of Covington; a son, Arthur Lee Marks of Covington; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Peter Teremi Sr., 86, of Covington, died Monday at Garrard Street Convalescent Center in Covington. He was a retired iron molder with Reliance Foundry, Cincinnati, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Covington. A son, Peter Teremi, died in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Thompson Teremi; a son, James Teremi of Wasilla, Alaska; a brother, Stephen Teremi of Newport; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Anna May Tillett, 60, of Germantown, died Tuesday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Brookville, Ind.

Covington's Magdalen Fritz, served church
Magdalen A. Fritz spent most of her working life in association with the Catholic church.
Miss Fritz, 90, of Covington, died at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Health Care Center in Covington. She was a retired housekeeper for the late Rev. Louis DeJaco and St. Peter and Paul Church in California, Ky.
"She talked a lot," said a sister, Bertha Fritz, who lived in the same apartment building as Miss Fritz. "She was really nice."
Miss Fritz was one of 12 brothers and sisters. Her sister Bertha and another sister, Rosemary Sketch of Ft. Wright, are her only surviving siblings.
She met Father DeJaco when he was an assistant at Mother of God Church in Covington and followed the priest to St. Peter and Paul Church, her sister Bertha said.
She worked for Father DeJaco for more than 20 years. Then she worked for the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Covington until her retirement in the 1970s.
Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:05 p.m. April 5 at Mother of God Church, Covington. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Ft Mitchell. Memorials are suggested in the form of Masses. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Mary L. Crowe, 95, of Ft. Wright, died at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Health Care Center, Ft. Thomas. She was a teletype operator with Union Terminal, Cincinnati. Her husband, Charles D. Crowe, died in 1982.
Survivors include a niece and nephew.
