George Dallas York, 89, of Cabin Creek Road, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born September 6, 1912, in Clay County, Kentucky, he was retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tennie (Murray) York and Lewis H. York; his wife, Bertha ( Schmidt) York; four sisters, Macie Wilson, Rena Gay, Betty Marcum and Maxie Harrison; and three brothers, Eldon York, Doyle York and Lachie York.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at the London Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terry Lester officiating.
Burial followed in the Landrum Cemetery
in East Bernstadt, Kentucky.
Pallbearers were Roy Wells, Ray Harris, Dusty York, Danny York, Bill York and Jerry Gay.
Millie Bowling

Millie Bowling, 81, of Pistol Creek Road, London, Kentucky, died Sunday, August 4, 2002, at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Amanda (Hammons) and Alex Johnson, and was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Bowling.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 7, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the New Salem Cemetery.
Addie Marie Brock

Addie Marie Brock, 10 months, of Corbin, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the daughter of Billy and Vikki (Lydon) Brock of Corbin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 30, at the Immanuel Baptist Church, with burial following in the Hopewell Cemetery
under the direction of the Corbin Funeral Home.
Elmer Loyd Browning

Elmer Loyd Browning, 71, of Hensley Drive, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 1, at his residence.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Marine Corps; owned pharmacies in East Bernstadt, Annville, Burning Springs, London and Corbin; he was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isabelle (Combs) Browning and Pete Browning; a daughter, Vickie Browning; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Stumpf) Browning of London, Kentucky; two daughters, Pam Hays of McKee, Kentucky, and Sally Christian of London, Kentucky; a brother, Wilmer Browning of Lexington, Kentucky; five sisters, Vera Cottrell of Colonial Heights, Virginia, Ruth Heym of Lexington, Kentucky, Maude Guthrie of Hamilton, Ohio, Alma Williams of Rome City, Indiana, and Kathleen Pigman of Lexington, Kentucky; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 4, at the Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. James Blaylock and the Rev. Earl Clark officiating.
Burial followed in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London under the direction of the House-Rawlings Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Corinth Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
William Doyle

William Doyle, 82, of South Highway 25, Corbin, Kentucky, died Friday, August 2, 2002, at his residence. He was the son of the late Mattie (Fox) and Charlie Doyle, and was preceded in death by his wife, June (Bodley) Doyle.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 4, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside services on Tuesday, Monday, August 5, at the Williamsburg Cemetery
in Williamsburg, Ohio.

Graveside services were held Sunday, July 28, at the Locust Grove Cemetery
under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery
at East Bernstadt, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 6, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel, with remains sent to the Somerset Undertaking Crematory.
