Funeral services were held Thursday, January 31, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.

Hilda G. Baylor, 60, of Corbin, Kentucky, died Monday, January 28, 2002, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Georgia (York) and William H. “Bo” Fowler, and is survived by her husband, John Baylor of Corbin.
Local funeral services were held Thursday, January 31, at the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel, with graveside services and burial scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, at the West Memorial Park in Weaverville, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, at the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Gray Cemetery.

Jessica Bryn Lawson, 3 months and 12 days old, of Tamarack Trace, London, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London of natural causes.
Born October 17, 2001, in Kentucky, she was the infant daughter of Lynette (Rogers) Lawson and Michael “Mike” Lawson of London.
She is survived by a brother, Adam Lawson of London, Kentucky; her grandparents, Brenda and Bill Rogers and Patricia and Lowell Lawson; her great-grandparents, Ava Jewell and Willie B. Horn; her great-grandfather, Owen Rogers; and her great-great-grandmother, Lillie Long.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terry Lester officiating.
Burial followed in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park in London.
Jim I. Adams

Jim I. Adams, 82, of Fariston Road, London, Kentucky, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London.
Born February 21, 1919, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was a retired installer and repairer for the Kentucky Telephone Company, was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Corbin, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sallie (Powers) Adams and Beve Adams; and his wife, Fannie (Tipton) Adams.
Survivors include four daughters, Alberta Adams, Bobbie Jones and Edith Hart, all of London, Kentucky, and Ruby Pawula of Corbin, Kentucky; three brothers, Ray Adams, Hershel Adams and Ben Adams, all of Indiana; and three grandsons, Dewayne Fields and Doug Jones, both of London, Kentucky, and Derrick Adams of Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 1, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Nicholson and Bro. Lynn Parman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery
at London.

Ruby P. Johnson, 83, of West Sycamore Street, Liberty Indiana, died Sunday, January 27, 2002, at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Mary Susan “Molly” (Lawson) and Dillard Witt, and was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at the Cook Funeral Home in Brookville, Indiana, with burial following in the Big Cedar Cemetery
at Whitcomb, Indiana. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, at the Cook Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 26, at the Merrimac Baptist Church, with burial following in the Hoskins Cemetery
at Bush under the direction of House-Rawlings Funeral Home.

Sherman Proffitt, 89, of McWhorter Road, London, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 24, 2002, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Samantha (Baker) and Mose Proffitt, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hazel (Gill) Proffitt.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 27, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Old Salem Cemetery
at London.
Cleopas Sizemore

Cleopas Sizemore, 80, of Sizemore Road, Lily, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 23, 2002, at his residence.
Born July 23, 1921, in Leslie County, Kentucky, he was the chief operator for the Olin/Madison Powder Plant in Charlestown, Indiana, was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II, and was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sally (Morgan) Sizemore and Sidney Sizemore; a brother, John Corbett Sizemore; and a grandchild.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice (Morgan) Sizemore of Lily, Kentucky; four daughters, Betty Jean Brown and Sally May Moore, both of London, Kentucky, Lola Grace Marlin of Lexington, Tennessee, and Orlena Joyce Sizemore of Richmond, Kentucky; two sons, Danny Ray Sizemore and Jeffrey Dewayne Sizemore, both of London, Kentucky; three sisters, Lola Grace Eversole of London, Kentucky, and Eunice Garrison and Elsie Simpson, both of Essie, Kentucky; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, January 25, at the Fariston Pentecostal Church with Rufus Slusher and Jeff Roberts officiating.
Burial followed in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily under the direction of the Bowling Funeral Home.
