Elmer Elliott, 78, of Cardinal Drive, Corbin, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 31, 2002, at the Christian Health Center. He was the son of the late Leota (Bryant) and John Elliott, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby (Farris) Elliott.
Funeral services were held Sunday, February 3, at the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Gray Cemetery.

Jerry D. Egner, 41, of Corbin, Kentucky, died Sunday, February 3, 2002, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the son of the late James Egner, and is survived by his mother, Maggie (Westerfield) Presnell of Corbin, Ky., and his wife, Debbie (Tyree) Egner of Corbin, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, at the Corbin Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Martin Cemetery.

Flora SmithRoss, 86, of Christian HealthCenter inCorbin,Kentucky, died Monday,February 4, 2002, at the center. She was the daughter of the late Granville Bowling, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Millard Smith, and second husband, GuyRoss.
Graveside funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday,February 6, at the McDanielCemetery at London under the direction of Bowling Funeral Home.
Maggie Rothel Trosper Clark

Maggie Rothel Trosper Clark, 88, of Rooks Branch Road, Keavy, Kentucky, died Saturday, February 2, 2002, at her residence.
Born May 18, 1913, in Laurel County, Kentucky, she was a homemaker and a member of the West Corbin Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Trosper and Robert Trosper; and her husband, Earl Clark.
Survivors include nine sons, Bradley Clark of Ocala, Florida, Clifton Clark of Coal City, Indiana, Curtis Clark, Paul Clark and Earl Clark Jr., all of London, Kentucky, Eddie Clark of Holland, Michigan, Kenneth Clark of Keavy, Kentucky, Marvin Coleman Clark of Martinsville, West Virginia, and Wayne Clark of Corbin, Kentucky; two daughters, Madeline Engle of Corbin, Kentucky, and Freda Taylor of Pioneer, Ohio; two sisters, Claudia Harville and Mary Harville, both of London, Kentucky; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Eversole officiating.
Burial followed in the Locust Grove Cemetery
at Keavy. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
Lawrence Joseph Palmer

Lawrence Joseph Palmer, 63, of Keavy Road, Keavy, Kentucky, died Saturday, February 2, 2002, at his residence.
Born March 3, 1938, in Cook County, Illinois, he was self-employed and a believer in the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Gilaski and Lawrence Palmer; and a sister, Nancy Brown.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence Joseph Palmer III of Wauconda, Illinois; his fiancÈ, Clara Reynolds of Keavy, Kentucky; three sisters, Betty Quillen of London, Kentucky, Barbara Mijares and Sally Kilk, both of Louisville, Mississippi; a brother, Jerry Palmer of Haines City, Florida; and two grandchildren.
There will be no services.
Arrangements were provided by the London Funeral Home.
Bobby Glen Ray

Bobby Glen Ray, 61, of Hazel Patch Road, East Bernstadt, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 30, 2002, at the Marymount Medical Center in London, Kentucky.
Born May 1, 1940, in Floyd County, Kentucky, he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member and former president of the Camp Wildcat Preservation Foundation, a member of the Laurel Home Guard, and affiliated with the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy Ray and Christopher Perry; his first wife, Jeanie Ray Watkins; and his step-father, Rory Ray.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Ray of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; two daughters, Debra Hundley and Crystal Ray, both of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; two sons, Charles Ray and Robert Ray, both of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; and a sister, Geraldine McCowan of London, Kentucky.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 1, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bea Banks officiating.
Burial followed in the Fortney Cemetery
at East Bernstadt.
Pallbearers were Jonas Fortney, Randy Hundley, Jason Roark, Bill Shepherd, Stanley Shepherd and Dennis Smith.
Mazie E. Caudill

Mazie E. Caudill, 91, of Mazie Road, Keavy, Kentucky, died Thursday, January 31, 2002, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky.
Born February 11, 1910, in Laurel County, Kentucky, she was a homemaker and member of the Bethel United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane (Hubbard) Brummett and James Brummett; her husband, the Rev. James Lewis Caudill; a sister, Freda Caudill; and a grandson.
Survivors include a daughter, Zelphia Carmack of London, Kentucky; five sons, Harold Caudill, Arnold Caudill and Bill Caudill, all of Keavy, Kentucky, Ernest Caudill of Richmond, Indiana, and Lowell Caudill of Miamisburg, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 3, at the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Foister Junior Baker officiating.
Burial followed in the Locust Grove Cemetery
at Keavy.
