John Samuel Travillion, 56, of Melcon Lane, London, Kentucky, died Monday, September 24, 2001, at the Marymount Medical Center in London. He was the son of the late James Everett Travillion, and is survived by his mother, Sylvia (Noe) Greer of London, Ky., and former wife, Pauline Sibert Travillion of Middleton, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 27, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Noe Cemetery
at East Bernstadt, Kentucky.

Biaggio Alessi, 63, of Lake Terrace, Apartment 1, Louisville, Kentucky, died Monday, September 17, 2001, at his residence.
Born April 18, 1938, in Wayne County, Detroit, Michigan, he worked in business management, was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy, and member of Mother of Good Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine West Griffen and Samuel Alessi.
Survivors include his former wife, Carol Atkinson Griffen of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Mary Griffen of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sons, Michael Griffen and Richard Griffen, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Theresa Boone of Lily, Ky.; a brother, Michael Benedict and wife Lynn of Virginia Beach, Va.; a niece, Mary Berridge and husband Brian of Virginia Beach, Va.; three nephews, John Griffen of London, Ky., Mike Benedict Jr. and wife Linda and William Benedict and wife Theresa, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; a great-niece, Hailey Caldwell of London, Ky.; and a grandson, Michael Ion Griffen of Virginia Beach, Va.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, September 28, at the London Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rich Fifield officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the funeral hour on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 24, at the Upper Colony Holiness Church, with burial following in the Liberty Cemetery
under the direction of the Bowling Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith (Sowers) Sentney and Clarence Sentney.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Oakley of London, Ky.; two daughters, Karen Garrison of Okeana, Ohio, and Denise Henderson of Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, Brian Oakley of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Helen Bruan of Georgetown, Ohio, Carolyn Carpenter of Seaman, Ohio, Bonnie Henson of West Chester, Ohio, and Debbie Hughes of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, James Sentney of Sardina, Ohio, and Joe Sentney of Milford, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, September 24, at the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Elmer Oakley and Dennis Hammock officiating.
Burial followed in the East Colony Cemetery
at London.
Pallbearers were Nick Benson, Tony Benson, Eric Hughes, David Kranhbuhl, Brian Oakley and Randall Oakley.
